How do I re-rank my purchases?

I had preordered "The Killers" new album which I downloaded today. When I originally did the preorder, I was able to get a single from the album, and today downloaded the rest of the album.
But I've noticed that the songs weren't playing together when I selected the album (because they are named differently). After change the album name, I noticed that the single I downloaded earlier isn't playing the correct order.
I know this is nitpicky...but does anyone know how I can resolve this?? (I've tried tweaking with the track number option already...)

For a computer running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.
For a computer running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

actually having several problems, installed itunes on a new computer, have transfered/sync all of my existing ipod touch apps/music successfully. I purchased new apps and a movie, but they do not appear on my itunes library, how can i transfer these new purchases, to my new itunes library on the new computer, so they can be synced to my ipod touch. also, my computer is online and my ipod is online, but when i connect the ipod touch to my computer, and i try to update the software update, it says it cant because its not connected to the internet?...any info on either of these topics. thanks

as already mentioned, use File->transfer purchases to copy your apps and bought media to your computer, or right click on the device in the device list and choose "transfer purchases"

First, make sure your TV is tuned to display the correct input signal. Most TVs have several inputs (multiple HDMIs, cable connections, RCA etc) so double-check that you're using the correct one - HDMI1, HDMI2 or whatever is written next to the port.
I assume that you have a mini-Displayport to HDMI adaptor? If you open displays preferences, first tick the box that says "show display preferences in menu bar" then locate the menu and click Detect Displays. See if that helps.

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

Does any music show in the Purchased tab on the iTunes store app on your phone ? Music can't be re-downloaded in all countries, and even where it can be it will only appear whilst it remains in the store. Do you have your purchases on your computer and/or on a backup of your puchases so that you can sync them to your phone ?

I have two valid, purchasd iTunes accounts. Older iPod has some great music, I just got a new iPad and set up second iTunes account, bought some more iTunes items for that account. That is usually an indication that the Volume was never Erased or Partitioned for GUID partition table and Mac OS, and is still in a Windows format.
Mac OS X Extended (journaled) has no such file-size limitations

The procedure you describe is putting content from two different IDs into a single library, which can readily be done.
However, each item of purchased content will still be tied to the ID from which it was originally purchased, and they will be treated separately for purposes of Cloud, Match, Purchase History, etc.

They chapters are mp3 files. Changing the genre to "audiobook" or "audiobooks" does help.
I am sure this question will come up a lot, since the book in question is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," purchased from Pottermore.com.

The one thing I would add to the instructions above is that the "Media Kind" menu is on the "Option" pane in the "Get Info" Window. This procedure has allowed me not only to make imported audiobooks show up as audiobooks, but imported podcasts show up as podcasts.
