I had to bring my Ipad to the Apple Store to have it restarted, I experienced the problem after I downloaded the update. My Ipad was restored however, I lost all my photos any suggestions on how to get them back?

Any apps you've had installed on your iPad can be downloaded again.
Go to App Store on your iPad and select 'Updates' and then tap on Purchased. You can then view all purchases made on the iPad or purchases made on other devices by selecting the 'Not on this iPad' tab.

You need to let go of everything you ever knew about using editing software and look at few tutorials. After years of using Final Cut Express, I looked at FCPX and didn't understand it at all, but a few months later I finally decided to give it a second try knowing that it is an entirely different animal, and that I would have to start from scratch. I bought it, read a few tutorials, explored the menus, panes, functions, read this forum extensively, then tackled my first project. It took some diligence and patience, but I got it and I will never look back. My experience is that FCPX is far better than the previous Final Cut.

I think you should probably also read the iPad User Guide. You didn't say what version of iOS your iPad is running, so here's the links to both the iOS 6 and iOS 7 (PDF) versions:

No I have checked and it is not in any junk folder. When I joined apple I must have given them another email address which is no longer functional. Now caught in endless loop....I think I need to speak to apple rep to find out how to get out if this mess with old i.d.with a password that is impossible to find or change. I have quite a few apps on my ipad so I think I will need to try and find some way of keeping that I.d. and being able to access that account.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I wasn't aware of this though; I explained to an apple employee my concern about how if I found one in my local pc world what could I do. She persuaded me to order the iPad online by making it very clear that I could cancel the order should I find one in stock in my local pc world, this is the thing that annoys me. The employee never asked wether I would be paying with credit or debit card. Another thing which annoys me is that (I don't know quite how to word this so sorry if it comes across wrong) us who pay "honestly" with debit cards who actually have the money in our accounts are put on this "hold" yet people who pay with credit cards are not even though they may not have the money at that given moment. I don't quite know very much but it has something to do with paying all the money once a month or something?
Maybe one thing that can be salvaged from this is that I have one last chance to buy the iPad today, but they won't hold it for my any longer if my card gets declined again. I just have to pray and hope that it the cancellation has "gone through the system" since yesterday.

The Sad face icon is usually a very good indication of a hardware malfunction or failure usually with the iPod's Hard Drive, which would also explain the loud clicking noise you are hearing.

Apple gives you a refurbished iPad instead of repairing your iPad, so you will lose everything. In order to prevent the lose of data and settings, make a backup of your iPad onto iCloud or iTunes > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
Also, make sure you transfer your purchases to your PC or Mac with iTunes before taking it in > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1848

I'm not able to pair my iPad via Bluetooth with my Logitech mini-Boombox. I recently brought my iPad to the Apple Store for an unrelated problem, and they replaced it with a new device. The old device had no problem pairing with any of my Bluetooth devices. I'm only haveing the problem with my new device. I was able to pair it with my Apple wireless keyboard, but not the mini-Boombox. I think I've done everything that I've read in other forum posts: I've toggled the Bluetooth setting on and off; I've reset the iPad a couple times; I've turned off and on the mini-Boombox; I've recharged the mini-Boombox. What am I missing here, and how can I fix this?
