    No, unfortunately.
You have to use the proper power adopter.

  • Replaced the Battery in my iPhone 4s but still drains very quick.

My iPhone 4s battery has been draining in about 4-5 hours almost exclusively sitting idle on standby. (No heavy use)
So I purchased a new battery and replaced the old one, but it still drains in about 4-5 hours with very little use.
I read all of the things I could do to help the battery life, I turned off Bluetooth and most location services. I disabled automatic app updates. I lowered the brightness of my screen.
Still seems to die in about the same amount of time.
Does anyone have any other suggestion I could try to help the battery life a little more on an iPhone 4s?
    Thanks in advance.

I replaced it myself using instructions on the Internet. I was quite careful and used all the correct tools. The battery was the high capacity 2680 Ah but with same voltage 3.7V. Have since remove it and re-inserted original battery. However the problem of searching is still there. Funny because everything else including wifi works perfectly. SIM card works perfectly in another iphone 4 so it can't be the SIM card. Have tried all the obvious fixes such as re-boot, connecting to iTunes, system settings etc but no luck. Surely if the 3G antenna was broken you would still get a message that no SIM card was inserted but I don't even get that. It's permanently in the searching state. The iphone is not jail broken.

  • How can I use the battery and let it be perfectly healthy?

    Hello everybody!
I love this forum because everyone is a great helpful person.. .. However, I'd like to ask you couple things about the MacBook battery...
I know that now the battery has been improved, it leasts longer and it can support 1000 charging cycles.
(Right now I'm performing the battery calibration)
I'd like to know how can I use the battery and let it be perfectly healthy.
    For instance,
    1) If I connect the laptop to the MagSafe and let it charge, when should I remove the plug from the Mac and when should I put it in charge? I don't wanna continously waste cycles and let my battery die too soon (it's too young to die! :-D ) .. I use it mainly at home connected to the MagSafe: someone tell that even if you leave the MagSafe connected after the mac has been charged it stops charging (I can see this), and others say that is not a good thing to let the mac connected to the plug for a long time... with the old model I used to disconnect the battery from the mac so I didn't have these problems but with the new one it's a long procedure...
    2) I usually use to calibrate the battery once a month... Is it a good thing?
    Thanks!
    Andrea

  • I bought my Iphone 4 2 days ago and I cannot recharge the battery..I tried all the night (with Iphon4 swict on) but the battery levels show alwasy 24%??????

How to recharge the battery for I-phone4????????????

    Hello Marynoemi
Have you tried reset all settings
settings > general> reset > reset all settings
if that doesn't work try following this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_AU
you should probably also try another cable and charger if you have one  and if that doesn't work call apple.

  • Do I need iTunes to recharge the battery of my iPod?

I will be taking a 12 hrs flight on Friday and would like to watch iPod during the flight. However, I need to recharge my battery after 2 hours or do something else. I do have my company laptop (w/ USB port) with me but the laptop does not have iTunes (thks to company policy).
Do I need iTunes to recharge the battery of my iPod? Or is the USB port is enough?

you don't need itunes to charge it
some laptops have low power usb ports, so it is worth checking before you travel to see how good a job of charging the laptop can do
you can get external battery packs to go with the ipod, but this can be a pricey way of using it
the owner of this page has many links to commercial options and also some diy versions... http://home.speedfactory.net/tcashin/ipodbattery.htm
if your seat on the aircraft has power, there are also ipod cables available to use that

    Hi groundflight5150,
I'm attaching a link below to the user manual for the 8150B series of controllers.  I don't believe that the BIOS is password protected by default, so you may want to contact the person you purchased this from to find out what the password is.  However, there is information in the manual regarding how to clear out the CMOS contents, so this might help.

  • Recharging the battery in my Tungsten E2

I am having difficulty with recharging the battery in my Tungsten E2.  It doesn't seem to hold a charge.  The longer I have it plugged in the weaker the battery seems to become.  I am afraid I will be losing all the information.  What do I need to do?

It may not be a charging issue at all, but a battery that has reached the end of it's useful life!

I have a 4th gen iPod touch that won't power up! I tried all the traditional stuff. I want to know how to tell if the battery is good. itunes see's the ipod in recovery mode. Tried dfu mode and did not work. Any ideas? I can hear the PC beep when plugging it in! I suspect a bad battery and trying to charge it ina wall charger made it hot!

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. The appointment is free.

HELP, how do I get the battery out of my iphone 3g?

iPhones are not designed to be user servicable.
There is no reason to remove the battery.
If you believe the battery is defective or no longer holding sufficient charge, take it to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
Attempts to open the device by anyone other than Apple will void all rights to support from Apple.
