How do I "Recompile your picking rules" after the latest INV/RCV RP 20?
Hi,
I am an apps DBA and we've patched up to the new support baseline (trial run) for extended support on 11i, and it includes INV/RCV rollup patch 20 (patch 1086420.1). One of the post-steps in the metalink for this patch (Note 1086420.1) is to "Recompile your picking rules". How do I do this? I'd need to be the "Manufacturing Super User GUI" -correct? Thanks in advance.

It might be about running the program Generate All Rules in WMS. This a PL/SQL package which compiles all rules.
Please check the option and let us know how it goes.

How do you delete your deleted VM after the the OS7 update?
I updated my Iphone and now I am not able to clear the deleated messages? Am I missing something?
Click on the voicemail icon and at the top it will say deleted in black and then clear all next to it in blue. Just hit clear all and it should work

How to use a pull down menu after the 2.0 update

I'm looking for help on how to use a pull down menu after the latest update. The method I was using before no longer works and it's driving me crazy.
Has anyone else had this problem and figure out a new way?!
I was holding my finger down on the pull down menu and waiting for the options menu to pop up, I'd push cancel and the menu would stay. This no longer works.Also would love to know plz

After the latest itunes update I can no longer see my iPhone listed on the left column. How can I get to the section where I can pick & choose apps etc to be synced?
Also I had to get a new iPhone & so I backed up the night before to the cloud & my computer. When I tried to restore from back up with the new phone my back up wasn't there - shouldn't it be automatic via wifi from the cloud?
What am I doing wrong?Your iphone is shown at the top of the page.
You can also simply click View>Show Sidebar and it will look about the same as it did before. -

How much data is being backed-up from each Mac? (see what's shown for Estimated size of full backup under the exclusions box in Time Machine Prefs > Options).
Is there any other data on your Time Capsule, besides the backups?
Most likely, there just isn't room. Time Machine may be trying to do a very large (or full) backup of one or both Macs, and can't. Since it won't ever delete the most recent backup, there has to be enough room for one full backup plus whatever it's trying to back up now, plus 20% (for workspace).

I don't really understand your comment about "sing of tubes in RED which is wired". But if you are referring to the display of iTunes and the USB port that is an indication that you must restore your iPhone by connecting it to your computer via USB and then using iTunes on the computer to restore it. -
After the latest update my phone shows I have a new TXT Message and there are NO TXT messages. How do I fix this? I have tried clearing the cache, I have tried the factory reset, I have no 3rd party messaging apps and have done noting different with my phone that I have been doing the last 6 months.

I regret to learn of any issues after the software update. Let's check some things out on your phone! Does the text message say who it came from? Is it a contact you message on a regular basis? Are you using the messaging application that came with the device, or a 3rd party application?
I recommend deleting any unneeded messaging threads and then powering the device off/on. Keep me posted!

Macbook air Wi Fi and sound stops every time it goes to sleep. i have to restart it every time to use wifi and sounds. this started happening just after the latest upgrade to OS X. any reasons why its doing that and how to fix it.
Test after taking each of the following steps. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Make sure the network is on the preferred list by following these instructions. It's important to read the article carefully, as it's the starting point for any further efforts to solve the problem. If you skip any of the steps, the problem may not be solved.
2. Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading "Symptom: The network connection drops unexpectedly."
3. Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
4. From the Location menu at the top of the Network preference pane, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.
5. Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
6. In some cases, the problem has been resolved by repairing permissions on the startup volume.
7. Turn off Bluetooth and test.
8. Reinstall OS X. -
I used to be able to attach a document to an iCal entry. After the latest update, it appears this option has been removed. How can I add an attachment now? Thanks!
Hi Dan,
Yes, iCal 4.0.4 (1395.7). In edit mode, the 'attachments' option is between 'Invitees' and 'URL' (see below). As I said this is for calendars under On My Mac, I suspect you are not seeing this as your event is on MobileMe.

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report — they're very long and not helpful. -
