How do I record 2 Apogee MiC's at the same time?

I have the new Garageband 10.0.1
And 2 Apogee MiC's And I can't seem to arm both mics at the same time...
Please help.

I followed this but I don't have the REC BUTTON like it says in step 6
Record to multiple audio tracks simultaneously
Set the instrument or microphone input source for each track you want to record to.
Click the Record Enable button in the track header of each track you want to record to.
Move the playhead to the point in the ruler where you want to start recording.
GarageBand includes a metronome, which plays a steady beat to help you play in time while recording. You can turn this on or off using the Metronome button in the control bar.
Click the Count-in button in the control bar to have the metronome play a one or two bar count-in before recording starts.Note: For the initial setup, choose Record > Count-in, then choose a measure.
(STEP 6) Click the Record button in the control bar (or press R) to start recording.
Start singing or play your instrument.A new audio region appears on each of the record-enabled tracks.
Click the Stop button in the control bar (or press the Space bar) to stop recording.

I am running my guitar thrugh a Roland GR 33, and a line out and using the GR 33 to trigger sounds in the Logic's synth section but cant seem to record all three tracks at once. If any one knows how let me know. Oh and I am running the GR Synth and Guitar into the Prosonus Fire Fox and have the GR 33 out midi to the Fire Box as well. Try arming the audio tracks, select one of the tracks, then while holding down the shift key, select the midi track you want to record, arming the "r" on the midi track. Press "record".....

Recording vocals and guitar at the same time, using the Alesis IO dock!

Hi there!
I have an Ipad 2 with the newest OS installed etc. And I rea the other posts in here.
I bought an IO dock from Alesis the other day and was full of exspectations, but I got a bit disappointed -> Garageband! When I bought the Ipad dock I exspected that I would be able to record (or just play and hear the inputsound from two devices) at the same time in my headphones! But I wasn't... Now I'm wondering if this is going to be fixed in an update or not? I think it would be a shame if this issue isnt adressed, due to the huge abilities the Ipad/garageband/Ipad docks withhold.
So anyone know anything? I went to my musicstore and spent about an hour or so with the tech dude there trying dfferent setups, but unfortunatly without luck! Just to clarify that I didt just plugged in my guitar and got mad that it wasnt apple intuative!

I have tried a lot of different ways but i cant figure it out?
I can get the sound and animation (timeline) to start playing.
There is no problem to start the video and the animation at the same time.
But i cant get both the video and the audio to start playing when i press a button.
It works great in OSX and on windows?

If the game has sound in it (and possibly even if it doesn't) it may be overriding the Music app and causing it to stop playing - in which case there is nothing that you can do about it.

Last question first, since that is the easy one......approximately 50 (fifty) users for wireless depending on how active each user might be.
The first question is much more difficult, as distance is not really the issue with wireless.....obstructions are the issue.
A wireless signal can easily travel 300 feet or more with no obstructions in the signal path.
But, a typical wall of sheetrock or wallboard in a home will absorb....on average....15-20% of the wireless signal. Brick or adobe will obviously absorb much more. A ceiling....because it is thicker....will absorb about 25-35% of the signal.
So, if the wireless signal must pass through several walls and a ceiling, there won't be much, if any, of the signal left....even though the distance that the signal travels is not great...for example, 20-25 feet.
Other wireless networks around you at the neighbors can also affect the relative strength of the wireless signal.
The bottom line....locate the AirPort Extreme where wireless devices will receive a signal with the least amount of obstructions in the signal path. Your actual performance cannot be predicted in advance. You will not know how well the AirPort Extreme works for you until you try it out in your home.
If you find that the signal does not reach as far as needed, you will need to add additional "extenders", like an AirPort Express to provide more signal coverage.

Make sure you are in Grid View, primary monitor (if you have two), select 10 pictures and type (or delete) the keywords in the Keywording panel in the left upper corner.
Make sure the Metadata->Show Metadata for Target Photo Only is unchecked in the menus. Otherwise your edits will only apply to the primary selected (most selected) image.

You cannot do two different simultaneous VISA writes over a serial bus. There is a single rx line on the pc's com port and a single rx line on the instrument. You only hope is if the instrument allows you to chain commands and the reception of the carriage return triggers the instrument to implement both at the same time. Maybe you can send CTS01 and CTS02 separated by a space or comma. The manual should tell you if that's possible or maybe you need to ask the manufacturer.

I'm in GREAT need of help. I can't record midi and audio at the same time. I'm using an M AUDIO project mix I/O. I know this is VERY basic stuff but I can't seem to get it to work.I can record multiple audio at once. ANd I can record midi but not at the same time. PLEASE help . Hi!
Enable all audio tracks (R) you wish to record. Then make sure you select the audio instrument you are using on the left of the arrange page (track list). If you here your input, hold shift, then highlight (gray) the mentioned audio tracks you wish to record on. When R is red, and the proper tracks are grey, you can record. Hope that made sense!

User, please tell us your Jdev version!
There is no such functionality build into the framework. The offline data base is only for designing the db, not to have a backup db.
If you can't connect to the db the application will not work.

You should be able to accomplish this by hitting record on the audio track, and then while holding the "Shift" key down, hitting record on the MIDI track (or visa versa).
