How do I recover deleted photos from my iPhone 5 that I deleted by mistake

Can someone please help me recover photos that I deleted by mistake?

You can recover the photos only if you backed up the phone before they were deleted.

I am not sure how to delete photos from my iPhone that I have downloaded from my pc or that I have taken with my iPhone (on my camera roll)

"I am not sure how to delete photos from my iPhone that I have downloaded from my pc"
The same way you put them there.  The sync process.  open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want on the iphone , sync
"or that I have taken with my iPhone (on my camera roll)"
You can delete them when you import the photos to your computer - using whatever softare that you import them with or you can go to the pics and hit the trash can on the bottom of the screen.

  • I am sorry but I don't understand how to delete photos from my Iphone that were sys from a computer.

I just don't understand how to delete photos from my Iphone placed there by Syc.

Well, if they were synced fomr a computer then the iPhone says the computer "owns" them for instructional purposes.  You have two options.
    1) Plug your iPhone up to any computer with iTunes.  You can get itunes at www.itunes.com  Then tell it to sync photos, but then select no photos or an empty folder.  This will override what the previous computer put on your iPhone.
    2) Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings and say goodbye to everything including those synced photos.  If you make a quick backup first in iCloud (be sure it finishes) then you can restore form your iCloud backup via Wifi and those synced photos wont be there.  How to backup: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766

  • How do I delete photos from my Iphone that were originally on my computer

How do you delete photos that were imported from my computer  from an Iphone?

You'll have to remove the photos from the album on your computer and then sync the iPhone again, or choose the option to not sync that album in iTunes.
To delete photos from your device
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
    Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.

  • How can I delete photos from my iPhone 4S without deleting from Mac iPhoto at the same time?

My iPhone has more than 12gB of photos & video - some 1200 of them. I have transferred them all to iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. Now I want to delete about 75% of the photos on my phone while I keep the rest safely on my Mac. When I go to delete the photos a warning comes up to say that I am about to delete my photos from all locations but I cannot afford to lose my memories.

You can't because the actual photos are in the camera roll.  The albums only contain links to these photos, not duplicate photos.

  • In Iphoto, How can I delete photos on my iphone that have already been imported?

I've just spent over the hour on the phone with my sister (who has a law degree, I have an engineering degree), and we could not figure out how to delete photos from our iphones that have already been imported into Iphoto.  I thought Apple was the company that made things easier???  This is a nightmare.
    The way it should work:
    - Launch iPhoto
    - Stand on iPhone (Under Devices)
    - Select photo to delete (under Already Imported)
    - Right-Click Delete (or Send to Trash, or Something)
Obviously we are not thinking like Apple thinks...does anyone know how to do this, or are these programs as crap as they seem and you have to go back to your iphone and select each photo one at a time (all several thousands of them).
Don't even get me started on how messed up my photo libraries have become now that I have (fully) switch over to Apple.
By the way, I like my Mac for everything else...but its photo capabilities suck.

Thanks, I was hoping for something a little more selective that I could do from my computer, but I think this is helpful.
Maybe the best approach to get this under control is:
    - Import all photos into iphoto
    - Delete all photos per your suggestion
    - Selectivly sync the photos you want put back on your phone
Thanks again, I didn't know this and is a helpful trick!
P.S. I still wouldn't mind finding a way to selectively delete files that are on my iphone from my computer.  (In Windows, you can go to My Computer -> Iphone, open the folder and delete what you want).

  • After loading my photos from my iPhone to my mac iPhotos it prompts me to delete photos from my iPhone.  When I agree to this my photos never delete.  my iPhone is out of storage due to I can't delete photos.  What am I doing wrong?

After loading my photos from my iphone to my mac iphoto it gives me the option to delete photos on my phone.  When I click to delete the photos do not delete from my phone.  I am out of storage due to I can not delete photos from my iphone.

That problem is probably with your iPhone and not with iPhoto.
But try to download again to your Mac, this time use "Image Capture" instead of iPhoto.
Launch Image Capture from your applications folder.
Connect your phone to a USB port.
Select all the photos in your camera roll  to be deleted.
    Then press the "delete" key.
If there are photos on your iPhone that have been synced with iTunes, they can only be deleted by syncing again and deselecting the albums:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
If even Image Capture cannot wipe your Camera Roll, you need to trouble shoot your iPhone. Try the three R's, reset, restart, restore. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281

  • How do I recover a deleted photo from my iphone

how do I recover a deleted photo from my iphone?

The iPhone Photo Recovery allows you to recover data by two ways: Recover from iOS devices and recover from iTunes backup. No matter which way you choose, the first step is to download and install the software on your computer. Then follow the way below to get back your data.
Part 1: Directly recover photo from iPhone 5/4S, iPad mini, iPad with Retina display, The New iPad, iPad 2 & iPod touch 5
article: How to recover deleted photos from iPhone.
Part 2: Recover Data Directly from iPhone 4/3GS, iPad 1 & iPod touch 4
Part 3: Extract iTunes Backup to Recover Previous Data for All iOS Devices
This data recovery mode lets you recover not only existing data in the backup, but also those data deleted from your device before you made the backup, as long as they were not overwritten.
Note: Don't sync your device with iTunes when you realize that you've lost data, or the iTunes backup file will be updated after the sync, if you want to recover them through this recovery mode.

How can i recover deleted photos from my iphone 5 - help!!
I have tried many online programs but nothing seems to recover the last 60 photos i accidentally deleted.

i have i cloud but because my phone memory had been so full lately i believe it wasnt being backed up?
the last back up noted on my phone is 9 nov 2013 - i deleted the photos just on monday - does this mean i can still recover them somehow?
they were never imported to a comp but yes the pics were saved on my photo stream buti acutally first deleted off photo stream. what i did was create a folder within my albums then added the 60 photos to the album, then deleted 1 off photo stream to test and it didnt delete from my new folder, then deleted all off photo stream and then i thought i could delete off camera roll, then did that and realised it also deleted off my new folder created - so was left with nothing!
if you know anyway pls help?

  • HT4528 how can you recover deleted photos from the iPhone hard drive?

Is there anyway possible i can recover my deleted photos from my iphone hard drive for free?

You can't for two reasons: First, the iPhone doesn't have a hard drive. Second, there is no Trash folder, so once something is deleted it is gone forever. If you were foresighted enough to sync your phone regularly the photos should still be in the app you used for managing photos from digital cameras on your computer, and they are also in the iPhone backup on your computer. If you enabled Photo Stream they are also in iCloud. But if you didn't take advantage of any of these backup options you are out of luck.

The only way you can do that is to import them into your library first, but you may have done that already.
The easiest way to tell is to select a photo from the photostream album in iPhoto and ctrl-click on it, if it gives you the option to import it isn't in your iPhoto library, if it offers you the option to show in library it has already been imorted.

  • How can I delete photos from my ipad that came in when I connected for the first time to my pc?

how can I delete photos from my ipad that came in when I connected for the first time to my pc? HELP

Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced -  and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
If you want to remove all of the Photos - uncheck the Sync Photos from Heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you are using iTunes 11 - this will be helpful, Setting up syncing in Windows.

  • HT201302 how can i delete photos from my iphone after uploading in Iphoto even if i say not to keep on phone

how can i delete photos from my iphone after uploading in Iphoto even if i say not to keep on phone

    Hello paolo@spring,
Just as photos that were taken more than 30 days ago remain on your MacBook Air, so will photos that are deleted from your iPhone.
Photos in My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days.
Because your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, you can choose to download all of your My Photo Stream photos automatically.
In iPhoto or Aperture preferences on your Mac, select Photos (or Photo Stream) > My Photo Stream > Automatic Import. All of your photo stream photos will import into your Events, Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places folders in iPhoto or Aperture.

Restore your iPhone from the last backup you made before you deleted the photos from the iPhone. An iCloud backup (or an iTunes backup) saves the content of the camera roll.
