How do i redeem itunes gift card online using linux

I have bought my daughter a gift card but there appears to be no way to redeem this for her without installing itunes.  Next problem is that I would never install such software even if it worked in linux.  So where can I redeem it online for her using a browser only.

You can call her on the phone, walk her through how to get into iTunes to hit "Redeem", then read the number out to her. If you were intending to have it as a surprise that just showed up without her having to do anything, that can't be done without iTunes OR another iOS device you could log into the account from (which would also require her username and password).
If, due to extenuating circumstances you can't contact her directly OR have the login details OR have some other way to get the redeem code to her, then I'm not certain you'll be able to use the card.

    You might be able to buy the gift cards from Best Buy. They sell iTunes cards and will accept international credit cards. See:

    They say that you can't order iTunes "codes", but I don't know if that applies to the physical cards. But you can try it.

    There isn't a phone number for iTunes Support.
    If you've forgotten your answers to your security questions then you can get them reset : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions
    If you have a credit card on your account then its details have to complete - and asking for their details is also a way of checking that you have a valid billing address in that country. As long as you are buying content for yourself and not trying to gift content (you can't use your balance for gifting) then the purchase price (plus any applicable taxes) should be deducted from your balance.     Sorry, but you can't, if you live in Haiti. As you say yourself, there is no iTunes Store for Haiti and you are not allowed to use the iTunes Store of any other country.
    If you live in a country where there is an iTunes Store, check to see if Apple sells physical gift cards in your country and if so purchase and redeem one of those. There is no way to purchase an electronic gift certificate from Apple without a credit card from the country whose iTunes Store you wish to use.

    then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

    If not then you will need to create a new account, and follow the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it.     If you buy a card from the online Apple Store or another authorized retailer, they'll ship a physical card to your shipping address. If you buy a gift through the iTunes Store, it's sent via email to whatever email address you provide when you set up the gift.

    Is the gift card from the South African store?  If not, you will not be able to redeem it in the South African store as the card must be redeemed in the country's store it was purchased in.
    If you can redeem it, open the App Store, and on the "Featured" tab, scroll down to the bottom to where it says "Redeem".

    Try viewing or updating your account and payment informaiton by clicking iTunes > Store > View My Account, enter your password > edit the Payment Type under Apple ID Summary.

    You would have to get a Canadian iTunes giftcard. But my guess is that they aren't sold outside of Canada. Unless you can locate online
