I don't know that you can purchase Adobe software in the US for installing and using outside of the US.

The serial number is printed on the sensor. We do not provide an api that gives you the serial number of the device.
As for the api you are using, that will only provide a unique identifier for the port the device is connected to. Plugging in another Kinect device to the same USB2 port will get you the same value. See other threads that discuss this.
There is nothing at a Kinect SDK level that will allow you to identify the exact device. You may need to look at Win32/OS level api's to see what is exposed through the raw driver. A tool to query the device that will let you see what these api's can provide
is USBView.

I have a redemption number, connected with Adobe website, (several pages worth) and eventrually found SOME page related to the "www.adobe.com/go/serial" you suggested. BUT there is NO link to exchange the numbers!
I just wasted $116 at Best Buy for software that is IMPOSSIBLE to install!
Then, adding insult to injury, Adobe offers "dsiscounts" if i buy on-line, something I never saw before on Adobe, I have been using Photoshop since 2.5.
What gives????

I don’t think there are many “must have” features in PSE13 especially if you are doing most of your editing non-destructively in Lightroom and only going to the external editor occasionally.

John, let me explain. I recently purchased Adobe Premier Elements from
Staple or Best Buy. When I tried to install it, I was told that I needed
to go to an Adobe web site to get a serial number. There was a piece of
paper in the box that I had purchased that contained a redemption code. As
I went through the process on the Adobe site, I was told that I would be
shown a screen on which I would list that redemption code. Once I had
entered that code, I would be given the serial number required to finish
the installation of the Premier Elements code on my Mac desktop. I went
through the process several times and was never given a screen on which I
could enter the redemption code so I am unable to complete the installation
because I have no serial number.
Please let me hear from you. I spent over $120 for the code and will take
it back to the retailer if I cannot finish the install. This should not be
this hard.
