How do I redo a restore of my text messages from cloud onto my replacement phone - after it timed out halfway t

I started the original restore using my wifi .... and it got less than halfway through.  Some of the saved text messages came through - most did not.  Not sure how to restart that restore

I have the same issue.
I've tried over a dozen times now, and it never gets past about 32% before it thinks it's completed the restore job, so most of my messages are missing.
How do I fix this, other than just keep trying?
I am restoring from an S3 to an S5

    There is no Apple provided way to save text messages to a computer.
    The iPhone backup done via iTunes or iCloud, will backup the messages but they are not accessible on the computer.
    A google search may reveal options to saving the messages to the computer.

    Go to settings, messages, send and recieve, scroll to where it says start new conversation from, and make sure you each have a different email address checked instead of the same email address.

    You would have to restore from a backup made while your messages were still on your phone (described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).  This will revert all data and settings to those contained in the backup, not just messages.  Before doing this be sure to import all photos and videos to your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts (such as by syncing them with iCloud: Settings>iCloud>Contacts>On) as sometimes these get lost when restoring from a backup.

    I mistakenly deleted an important text conversation - swiping and deleting the wrong conversation.   My iphone is backed up to icloud, but not on my conputer.  Are there steps I can take to restore the deleted text messages from the icloud backup?  If so what are they and where will I find the restored messages after the process?   Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi again - thank you very much for the feedback.  It is actually a conversation over 3 days that is quite important so if I can recover it, I would like to.  
    As for the actual process, the most recent back up was prior to my deletion.   Three last questions (I hope...):
    1) How will I know what I need to redownload from itunes?

    You don't, unless you have a backup of that device. If you have a backup of that device when the photos and messages were on it, then you would need some 3rd party software to examine the bakups.

    I have iphone4, recently changed my phone number.  Prior to the change all of my outgoing sms showed my name and phone number.  Since I changed the number have not been able to show the new number on outgoing texts.
