How do I reduce the MG size/compress file prior to inserting into word or excel?

The Mac is (IMHO) - Excel is a MicroSoft product - therefore it needs MS support

PS - you might give the Apple Numbers forum a try - more likely that someone there might know Excel details than here in the iPhoto forum

  • How can I perform the conversion of pdf files in Cyrillic script to Word files in Cyrillic script. The pdf file is too small for me to read right now. Julyan Watts

How can I perform the conversion of .pdf files in Cyrillic script to Word files in Cyrillic script. The .pdf file is too small for me to read without a magnifying glass, and the document is more than one thousand pages.

This answer was not helpful. First of all, I could not find "tech specs"
anywhere on the Acrobat 11 homepage. And secondly I purchased this software
for the specific purpose of converting .pdf files to Word. It was only
after I had completed the purchase that I learnt that Acrobat does not
permit the conversion of .pdf files in Cyrillic to Word files  in Cyrillic.
I feel that Acrobat should have provided this crucial information before I
allowed my credit card to be debited. That is why I  am now asking for my
money back. But thanks for your attempt to solve my problem, even if it was
    not successful.

  • How do you reduce the screen size in Safari Mavericks OS

Hit the ESC (ESCAPE) key to reduce the screen size in Safari Mavericks OS

    Hi,
Reader can only be used to view pdf's so you cannot perform any operations on it.
If you have Acrobat then you can go to Acrobat > save as other > Reduced file pdf
You can also go to Acrobat> Save as other> Optimized pdf and then click on 'Audit Space Usage' button to know what is occupying how much space in the pdf and adjust accordingly.

  • How do I get the full size of my pics or video into the time line?

    Greetings,
I've nener been part of a forum before and an wondering if this will actually be taken seriously. I'm new to video editing and know little about the program I am using (Adobe Premiere Pro CC). Would someone please advise me as to how I can add the full size video or pics to the time line. It appears whenever I add something from my Gopro 3 HD camera I only get a partial of the video / pic.

Some of this is from the Premiere Elements forum, but the idea of sizing pictures is the same for PPro or Encore

  • How can I reduce the image size (how to use "Steps X, Y" and "ROI")?

I upgraded Labview (and NI-DAQ) from 5.X to 7 Express (and NI-DAQ 7). That seems to make PCI_IMAQ1411 to malfunction. I could move ROI and reduce the size by changing "ROI and Step X and Y" of NI_Snap.vi. All of a sudden, IMAQ started not to work properly even under the same code and device. Only difference is LabView and NI-DAQ version. Could you help me working IMAQ1411 under the upgraded LabVIEW and NI-DAQ?
    Thanks, Grace

    Dear Dcoutri
    Thank you for your reply.
    (1) The version I have on my computer is IMAQ 2.5.7 which has been installed together with NI-DAQ 7 when I install the LabView Express 7. It is strange that I cannot find the version on "DownLoad site".
    (2) You said that Imaq 3.0 does not support Step X, Y function. So you recommend that Imaq 2.5.5 is rather proper one. Then how about Imaq 2.6.1 (2.6). Does that support Step X, Y function?
    (3) Using Imaq 3.0, how can one scale down an image?
    Thanks, Hyun

  • IMail in Lion: How do I reduce the point size of the mailboxes list?

I can find no way to reduce the larger pointsize of the font for the list of mailboxes in the new Mail for Lion.  Does anyone know how?  I'm sure I reduced it in the previous version...

Found the answer in another message thread: Go to System Preferences > General, and change the "sidebar icon size" (e.g., from medium to small).  Weird, but it works!

  • How do I reduce the font size & icons for mailboxes?

I use a LOT of mailboxes and subfolders. In Yosemite, these have become too big. How do I make the mailbox icons and fonts smaller?

Can you attach a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot screenshot]?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB) and do not click Preview after you have attached the image.
The default system font that is used in all programs is used on the title bar.<br />
If that doesn't show properly then you may have a problem with the used font

  • How can I reduce the output size of what I want to print?

I have an HP Touchsmart Web and recently needed to enlarge the document I was printing.  I thought I enlarged it under the Advanced tab in Printer Preferences, but now I can't find anywhere that you gives you the option to change the output size.  I remember it gave me drop down choices of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 150%, 200% etc.  Now  I can't print most of the things I need because it enlarges everything.  However, when I scan, it prints real size, it's only when I print something from the computer.  Please help!  I can't use my printer when I need it!

Thank you for your help.  Your reply wasn't actually the answer I needed, but it somehow jogged my memory as to how to fix it.  I kept thinking the problem wasn't with the printer, but with a setting in my computer and I was correct.  I had to go to File, then Print Preview, then change the Scale, which had the drop down choices I remembered.  I changed it back to 100% but was surprised it stayed permanently at the setting I had used before.  I thought it always went back to 100% after turning off the computer, but that obviously isn't the case.  Thanks again!

  • How do I reduce the movie size?

I notice the Premiere Pro takes like 6 minutes to get a video ready for Youtube, compared to Windows Movie Maker takes 2 minutes. This is for a 4 minute clip. Imagine if the movie was 30 minutes.
I want to get the conversion time down by reducing the quality of the video. it's just Youtube. The Premiere Pro doesn't seem to allow me to reduce quality, why is that?
Also, why doesn;t it have a Youtube ready option? It's becoming a standard.

No, I don't know what that is. Could it be in this box somewhere? http://i.imgur.com/YPWFr6r.jpg
When I choose to export, this is the window where I should be able to adjust the size of the vid, but I can't.
I watched a vid on Youtube where this very box looked different a year ago and the option was easier to access for the guy.

    Hi,
The newest version of iTunes is taking up my whole screen but I can no longer find the little red/green buttons to make it smaller. I can't even minimize it with Command-M.
I tried a force quit and restart of iTunes, but same thing.
    Help!
    Thanks!

Thanks - moved the cursor all the way to the top, saw the little blue "shrink window" button in the top right.
