How do I refence KM API's in local DC?

I am using Local DC, but don't have NWDI. I am using local DC as I want to include it into GP.
In my WebDynpro  DC I am using some functionality related to KM so I need to use these.
WPUMFactory
ResourceContext
RID
IResourceFactory
ICollection
IResource
etc..
How do I give the reference to the jars which will have these?
When I do used DC I don't get the required references.
Which are the references which I need to do in Used DC and how?
Is there any way as this is local DC and I don't have NWDI?
I am on EP7 SP 15
Thanks,
VD

  • How Do I Use the API to Abbreviate?

    How do I use the ACE API to limit the output field length and properly abbreviate the output field?
    Using the pwace command-line application, I get abbreviated output that looks like this for a 30 byte field:
    nnnnn GEORGE WASHNGTN MMRL HWY
    However, when using the API, I end up with a truncated field:
    nnnnn GEORGE WASHINGTON MEMORI
    This is from the PRIM_ADDR field.
    How do I use the API to get the same field value as the command-line application?
    Thanks,
    Rob

    Rob,
    The jobfile product has intelligent truncation built into the product.  However, with the API this would be up for the user to code around.
    Thanks,

  • How can i execute Spaces API in java main class?

    Hi
    I am able to execute Spaces API through portal application. However if i try to execute it in java main class, its throwing an exception
    "SEVERE: java.io.FileNotFoundException: .\config\jps-config.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)"
    oracle.wsm.common.sdk.WSMException: WSM-00145 : Keystore location or path can not be null or empty; it must be configured through JPS configuration or policy configuration override.
    How can i set this path, so that i can execute Spaces API from java main class.
    Need this main class to configure in cron job, to schedule a task.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi Daniel
    Currently i have implemented create functionality in my portal application using Spaces API, which is working fine. Now the requirement is, i need to implement a "Cron Job" to schedule a task, which will execute to create space(for example once in a week). Cron job will execute only the main method. So I have created java main class, in which I have used Spaces API to perform create space operation. Then it was giving exception.
    Later I understood the reason, as I am executing the Space API with a simple JSE client, its failing since a simple java program has no idea of default-keystore.jks, jps-config.xml, Security Policy. Hence i have included those details in main class. Now I am getting new error,
    SEVERE: WSM-06303 The method "registerListener" was not called with required permission "oracle.wsm.policyaccess"
    For your reference i have attached the code below, please help. How can i use Spaces API in java main method(i mean public static void main(String[] args) by giving all required information.
        public static void main(String[] args) throws InstantiationException,

  • How to call a Web Api from from a Visual webpart code behind?

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a visual web part in sharepoint 2013 with data received from another Web API.
    I followed the below steps.
    1. Created a Visual Web part.
    2. In the code behind(.cs) file I wrote the following code.
     async private void GetResult()
                using (var client = new HttpClient())
                    client.BaseAddress = new Uri("http://localhost:8080/");
                    client.DefaultRequestHeaders.Accept.Clear();
                    client.DefaultRequestHeaders.Accept.Add(new MediaTypeWithQualityHeaderValue("application/json"));
                    var response = await client.GetAsync("api/Tfs/OpenEnquiriesCount");
                    var content = response.Content;
    3. When I run the application, I get security exception in the line await
    client.GetAsync()
    What is the way to achieve this? How to call a web api from share point visual web part?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your sharing.

    This is the class for a JCP I created to perform the following:
    1) Launch an existing Concurrent Program that produces PDF output
    2) Grab the PDF and apply a watermark based on user input or conditions
    3) associate the modified PDF to CP output for PASTA printing
    It isn't elegant but it is fairly simple. I added the email capability and tested it but am not implementing it at the present time.
    there is a fair amount of information out there that explains how to create a JCP councurrent program but very little that demonstrates the class needed.
    I hope this helps

  • How can I get (using API) the current sort column for some report

    hello,
    How can I get (using API) the current sort column for some report ? For example something like "fsp_sort_1_desc" - if the user sorts by the first column ?
    I cannot use the :REQUEST for this, sometimes the current sort column is not in the :REQUEST, but it is still active.
    I thought it was posssible by using
    APEX_UTIL.GET_PREFERENCE (
    p_preference IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
    p_user IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT V('USER'))
    RETURN VARCHAR2;
    function, but I don't really know which preference should I pass as parameter.
    looking in WWV_FLOW_PREFERENCES$, i saw preferences_names like FSP4000_P527_R6281510839654570_SORT , I'm not sure how this name is formed.
    I'm using generic columns for that complex report (which has a flexible number of columns shown), and the idea is that sometimes I have to overwrite that sort column, in case the user chose the version of the report with fewer columns than the previous one.
    Can I get (using API) a list of all preferences set for some user ?
    Thank you,

    seems that it is FSP<app_number>P<pagenumber>R<regionnumber>_SORT.
    is there anyplace where I can get these kind of things documented ?
    Thank you.

  • How complete is the javascript API?

    Hi,
    I am trying to serealize a AI document using the javascript API. Based on the "AI CC SCRIPTING REFERENCE" I assumed this could be done by simple traversing the dom and saving the type and properties of each object. It seems however that the API isn't complete. For example, I can't figure out how to read the transformation matrix of a symbolItem. (i.e. when creating a new symbolItem from a symbol and then resizing/rotating/repositioning it, how can I find these new properties?)
    This is just one thing I ran into, that might be fixed using the C SDK. I am wondering however if this is worth the effort or more like filling a bucket full of holes? How complete is the javascript API?
    Thanks,
    Tom

    the DOM in Illustrator is very limited, half the features are not exposed to scripting, SymbolItem Matrix is one of them.

  • How to disable BPEL java api logging in SOAP mode?

    Hi,
    I have build an 11g ADF based application using the Oracle BPEL java API to access the BPEL and workflow engine. Since i am unable to make it running with the REMOTE_CLIENT on Weblogic 10.3 we run it in SOAP_CLIENT mode. This generates a lot of logging which i want to turn of in our production environment. Does anybody know how to achieve that? Or even better, how to use the bpel api in REMOTE_CLIENT mode from a 11g adf application?
    Kind Regards,

    No you dont have to change your startManagedServer.cmd/.sh everytime you need to have a Java Embedding activity. You only need it in case of using Log4J. As log4j requires a configuration xml viz log4j.debug.xml and log4j.dtd you need to let the soa managed server know about it. The best way to load this configuration files is using the JAVA_OPTIONS command during server startup.
    Hope the explanation helps.

  • How to access search service api to get results in JSON format?

    How to access search service api to get results in JSON format in asp.net web application outside SharePoint farm. It should be an app or SharePoint hosted.
    I have tried the same with the help of "http://dotnetmafia.com/blogs/dotnettipoftheday/archive/2013/04/09/how-to-query-sharepoint-2013-using-rest-and-javascript.aspx".
    function onQuerySuccess(data) {
        var results = data.d.query.PrimaryQueryResult.RelevantResults.Table.Rows.results;
        $("#resultsDiv").append('<table>');
        $.each(results, function () {
            $("#resultsDiv").append('<tr>');
            $.each(this.Cells.results, function () {
                $("#resultsDiv").append('<td>' + this.Value + '</td>');
            $("#resultsDiv").append('</tr>');
        $("#resultsDiv").append('</table>');
    But we are getting data.d as undefined.
    I have checked and verify that I am getting success and data in XML format not in JSON. As I expected the JSON. Although I have specified the "JSON" in headers " headers:
    { "Accept": "application/json;
    odata=verbose" } ".
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Per my understanding, you might want to access search service REST API and get results in JSON format using jQuery.
    The code you use is working in a SharePoint Hosted App project, to compose a working code snippet easier, you can take the demo below for a try:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("ready");
    function ready()
    var spAppWebUrl = _spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl;
    var queryUrl = spAppWebUrl + "/_api/search/query?querytext='book'";
    $.ajax({
    url: queryUrl,
    method: "GET",
    headers: { "Accept": "application/json; odata=verbose" },
    success: function (data) {
    console.log(data);
    var results = data.d.query.PrimaryQueryResult.RelevantResults.Table.Rows.results;
    $.each(results, function () {
    $.each(this.Cells.results, function () {
    console.log(this.Key+"--"+this.Value);
    error: function (data) {
    console.log(data);
    </script>
    Add the code into a page of your site, it will retrieve JSON format data and print the search result in the console of browser.
    More information about how to work with SharePoint Hosted App:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/fp142379.aspx
    If you want to call the search service REST API in a remote environment, authentication is required to be taken into consideration, the link below with a working demo
    would be helpful:

  • How can I get a reference to the Local interface of a EJB 3 session?

    Hi,
    How can I get a reference to the Local interface of a EJB 3 session?
    My session implements both the local and remote interfaces, so in my client, when I look up the remote interface using the following code, I did get a reference
              processor = (IItemProcessorRemote)initialContext.lookup(IItemProcessorRemote.class.getName());but if I also look up the local interface in th eclient using this:
    processorLocal =(IItemProcessor)initialContext.lookup(IItemProcessor.class.getName());I got errors like the following, do you know why? Thanks a lot!
