How do I refresh a chart in Pages copied from Numbers?

How do I refresh a chart in Pages (v.5) copied from Numbers (v.3)? After updating and saving the chart in Numbers, I get no "refresh" button in Pages when I click on the chart. Or has this very useful feature been eliminated?

It isn't as easy as it should be. Here is a way to get a good copy of it:
Print the page that has the chart but choose "Open PDF in Preview" instead of sending it to your printer.
In Preview, using the rectangular selection tool, select the chart and whatever other elements you might want to include (title, legend, anything else nearby).
Copy
New from Clipboard to create a new document from it. Or you can paste it in another app.
This should give you an exact copy of what you had in Numbers and it will not be pixelated.

I am trying to export a chart from Numbers or Pages as a JPG. I have copied it to my clipboard and opened it in Preview but the image is very pixelated. Are there any other ways to do this? I'm trying to upload the image to a website.

I think you identified my mistake. I confused tables-charts-graphs. I was wanting a "table" of cells (numbers) to be added to the Pages document. Is there no way to do that and keep the tables linked between Numbers09 and Pages09?
An example would be a Numbers spreadsheet calculating a number (say, a product price) and that number (data) be linked to a product information text in Pages.
I just recently saw the Merge function in Pages, but have not yet learned how that works. I don't use Pages much at all but it would come in handy for creating to information sheets about products --- with the product pricing being updated from a Numbers spreadsheet.
If you have any hints on how that can be done or where I can find info on that I would appreciate it.

How can I paste a part of a sheet from Numbers in Pages as text, without the formulas.The reason I need this (and was used to in Office) so that I have the freedom to delete something in one cell (in pages document) without causing changes.

How can I paste a part of a sheet that I copied in Numers in a pages document without the formulas, simply as text. Used this a lot in Office. When I make some changes in the pages document. f.i. deleting a cell, I don't want to change other cells. Also when I copy a part of a sheet from Numbers and one of the cells that is part of the formula is not also copied, when I paste in Pages it shows as an error.

There are two solutions to the first question, narrowing to one solution when you have a broken link causing an error.
Here's the "works always" solution.
Copy (Command-C) the table or range in Numbers
Click off the table on the blank canvas of the sheet.
Edit > Paste Values
Command-C
Switch to Pages
Command-V

Chart pasted into Keynote (from Numbers) won't update. Please help.....

When i copy a chart from Numbers 09 and paste into Keynote 09, it won't update (if i make a change in Numbers). It's the same problem if i try and paste a chart into Pages also. Any advice (i've tried the usual solutions)???

This is the procedure for charts:
Updating a Chart Copied from a Numbers Document
If you’ve created a chart in Numbers, you can copy it and paste it into your Keynote
presentation. After it’s been pasted into Keynote, the chart remains linked to the data
tables it references in Numbers.
To change the chart data, open the original Numbers
document and edit the data there, save the Numbers document, and then refresh the
chart data in Keynote.
To update a chart after you’ve updated its data in its linked Numbers table:
mm Select the chart on the slide canvas and click the Refresh button that appears.
Note: You must save the Numbers document before copying and pasting your chart
into your Keynote presentation and after editing the Numbers data tables that the
chart references.

How do I access a spreadsheet on my PC from Numbers on my iPad

I have iOS8 on my iPad (and iPhone) and iCloud Drive activated and have installed iCloud Drive on my PC and it has created the associated iCloud Drive folder.
I have put a spreadsheet into the PC folder but cannot see how I can now access that spreadsheet from Numbers. There doesn't appear to be a Load/Import option anywhere on the screen.
Could someone explain what to do ?
In the same vein I have a spreadsheet on my iPad and reading about iCloud Drive I assumed it would then appear on my other iOS devices and in the folder on the PC. But nothing is appearing. Have I missed something ?

Generate Pages document from Numbers Data

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to do so :
On a iWork Number document, for a specific line, can I launch a script that will generate a Pages document from a template, filling custom placeholders with data (strings and numbers) taken from this line (of the Number document).

How to open a url in new page/tab from Answers passing a value to the url in OBIEE10g

Hello All,
I'm trying to create an answer, A column "request id" would have a url with request id attached to end of url to open a web page. I did get the answer working, I need to open the webpage in a new page rather than in the same obiee answer. We are on OBIEE10g(10.1.2.3) on Windows 2003 R2.
Can anyone give me some information to achieve this ?

How do I get rid of -1 page number from TOC

When I create and import a TOC in to my document, the first TOC page has no number, which is OK, the second page is numbered -1 and the last TOC page also has no number. I am trying to get rid of the -1 from the second page. I have tried a number of things from Format >Document>Numbering and Format>Page Layout>Master Page Usage but nothing succeeds. Would be grateful for any help if anyone recognises this problem. Thanks.

Got to where the page number is, usually a Master Page, and either delete it, or set it to a color that is set to invisible (via Color Views) prior to publication.
Check both Left and Right MPs.
View > Master Pages
In most templates, the page number is a "#" in the header or footer.

Anyone know how I could print out a blank checking register from numbers. Seems like it could be simple but my templates all have numbers in them.

Just looking for a way to print off a blank checking account register page or two.
I've never used numbers before and all I have seen is a register with numbers filled in.

Sure. Create a fresh document by choosing the Checking Register template. Select all the cells you want cleared of data/formulas. Press Delete. You can also delete the chart and its accompanying table. Print it. Close it without saving (or save it if you want to have it around to print again later).

The APIs for file conversion are only available to plugins - they are not exposed to COM APIs. You can certainly write a custom plugin to handle this and then call it from your VB app. Plugins are written in C/C++.

That is because these are removed from Pages 5.
Pages 5 is a much cut down version from the previous Pages '09.
Pages 5 is designed to work better with the less featured iPad version.

The configurational setting for changing the pricing flow from Contract to Sales Order is in Copying control. Go to the T-code VTAA and select your relevant Contract and Sales Order. At the Item level itself, you shall find a control called PRICING TYPE. Select the option as B or C.
Please try out this approach so that your issue related to pricing flow can be avoided.
