How do I refund an App?

I bought the Rainy Mood app (https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/rainy-mood/id566752651?mt=8) and it won't install on my iPod Touch 1st Gen. It says that installation requires newer software version and when I check for updates, it tells me that my iPod Touch is up-to-date. So... I spent $5 on an App that I can't even use. There weren't any warnings in either the iTunes page for the App or the Rainy Mood website. How do I refund this?

                          No you cannot ! Also when buy any  application from  App World we are paying to the vendor of that particular Application not RIM. 
    Inaddition before buying any application I prefer we should always go through those User reviews , It let us know other user's opinion regarding that particular apps.

    If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

    Hi all.  I just purchased an App that doesn't work (iStreamgate) - really its a compatibility problem that the App Maker hasn't detailed.  Now I've found that I can't access the App Maker's website or support link as advertised in the App store (website gone it looks like).  It was only Eur 1.70 or something but its the principle of it that has led me to putting this message up - plus I can't easily find a standard channel to complain about this to Apple.  The App should probably be removed until the App Maker at least supports their product.
    Does anyone know what is the normal thing to do when this happens?

  • HT4009 How to obtain refund for unauthorized in-app purchase in Real Racing 3 game

    Recently my 6 year old son was playing Real racing 3 game, he has without our knowledge clicked "Buy" on few options and I have been billed Rs.16610 on my credit card.  He was not prompted for any password when he clicked buy option. 
    As soon as we received alert on these transactions, we blocked the credit card and also removed the card from the itunes account to avoid such mistakes in future.
    We need help to find how to obtain refund for this transactions made without proper consent.

    To try and stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off, and you should also have a Require Password setting on the Resrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately' (the default is a 15 minute perid during which it doesn't need re-entering).

    I downloaded this App for ringtones (Ringtones 500.000) , purchased a full version of it, so I should be able to download unlimited number of ringtones. The problem is, it won't let me download any ringtones after 10, which is how free version of this App performs.
    I have contacted developers, but they keep sending the instruction book to me with step-by-step inforamtion, which is out of date itself, but that is not a problem, I think in my case.
    When I try to report a problem to Apple , using hte link on my receipt, it just takes me to a page with discussion boards and FAQ.
    I would like to get $1.99 back instead of troubleshoot this any longer, because it seems App help support people are not understanding the problem.
    I did try re-loading the App -didn't help either.

    Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
    Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.
