Troubleshooting telephone-number activation (iPhone only)
After each step, toggle FaceTime and iMessage off and then on in Settings > Messages and Settings > FaceTime.
Update to the latest version of iOS.
Ensure that your iPhone is set to the correct time zone. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: If Set Automatically is on but the incorrect time zone is displayed, turn Set Automatically off and then choose the correct time zone, date, and time. Then turn Set Automatically on again.
Ensure that FaceTime has not been restricted: Settings > General > Restrictions > FaceTime.
Verify that you can send SMS messages. You need a valid SMS messaging plan to activate FaceTime.
Contact your carrier to verify that there are no restrictions or blocks on text messages. Blocks on text messaging will prevent iMessage and FaceTime registration.
If you are unable to activate iMessage or FaceTime on a device after remote wiping it, wait at least 24 hours and try again.
If "Waiting for Activation" is displayed, leave FaceTime and iMessage enabled for 24 hours. Toggling FaceTime or iMessage off and on will cause the registration process to start over.

How do I get my Jawbone Era to work with my Ipad 2? The Ipad shows the Jawbone as synced, however, when I play a video it does not play through the Jawbone, only the Ipad speaker.

You need to pair the iPad with the bluetooth keyboard. I don't understand how you could have used it even once without doing this process (unless whoever sold the iPad and keyboard to you did this for you?) but perhaps it has somehow become unpaired. There should be instructions with the bluetooth keyboard on how to pair it with an iOS device like your iPad, but the general process is pretty straightforward as described here:

If you can't find the pairing instructions/user guide that came with the keyboard then look on the manufacturer's website, they'll almost certainly have downloadable User Guides containing the info on pairing.

Assuming that you mean that you can't connect to the iTunes Store ....
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again.

Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services (swipe to the bottom of the page to find this)>Location Based iAds>Off.
Or this ...
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Quit the app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or ....
Reboot your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again.

How do I delete a large number of songs off my iPad

I have a large music collection and have downloaded a large number of songs onto my iPad (10GB). I don't need that much music on my iPad and would like to put the songs back in the cloud. I don't want to have to delete thousands of songs one at a time by swiping. What is the best way to do this?
I have a 4th gen iPad and I have iTunes Match.

Then I suspect you do not have iTunes Match enabled. Using that "delete all" command in the Settings does not remove the music from the cloud, nor does it disable iTunes Match. With iTunes Match enabled you will still see all the music.
So go to Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure iTunes Match is set to ON (green).

one way is to deinstall your CS6 in combination with a reboot. After reinstalling should CS6 start now with the registration mask.

You do have an iPhone and you are in the wrong place?
If not, you can't send from your mobile number on your Touch.

Unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages. If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.
Then, you can use the top of the article to activate iMessage and FaceTime on the iPhone that uses your correct number.
