  • How do i register my Ipod to a different account

I registered my ipod to my itunes account. I then gave the ipod to my grandson. How do I delete it off my account a register the ipod to his account on a different computer?

Change the Apple ID used with a device - Settings > Store > tap on your AppleID
When he connects it to his iTunes library it will detect a different library is being used and wipe your content to be replaced with the content of his iTunes library.

  • How do I register my Ipod to my new Windows HP Pro?

I got rid of my Apple computer and now have a Windows XP Pro lap top. I do not have any music saved on my Itunes (all in my Ipod) and I don't know how to register my Ipod to my new computer without erasing everything. Please help!!

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time.  It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library.  If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library.  So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.
However, if your iPod is Mac formatted, you'll only be able to copy content off of it using a program such as XPlay as Windows PCs cannot read or write to Mac OS X formatted hard drives/storage disks.

  • How can I register an iPod to my account that is currently registered to another one?

I bought an iPod Classic, 1.3 version, from a friend and it is registered under another account. I can't get in touch with this person to get the account password so I can sync my iPod to my account. I want to re-register the iPod under my account. It doesn't matter if all the music is lost in the proccess. Does anyone know how I can do this?

You don't HAVE to register the iPod with your account, but here is the link to register the product with Apple under your info.

Simply connect the iPod to your PC and restore it via iTunes.  This will associate the iPod with your iTunes library and content.

  • I registered my ipod touch on my other apple ID. i dont need that apple ID so i created a new one. how can i register my ipod touch into my new Apple ID?

i need help on registering my ipod touch into my new apple ID. i dont want to use the other ID. so how can i register it into my new Apple ID?

Changing Facetime settings on an iPod will have no affect on cellular settings on an iPhone. Something else is going on there. If she did not change any settings on the phone, then nothing she did could affect your celluar 3G.

so my friend gave me his ipod (he deleted all his songs before giving it to me)
and i want to put music on it. when i plug it in itunes recognizes the ipod but i can not transfer music to it.
i tried checking off the manually manage music button and it didnt work.
i also tried syncing all the music automatically, after clicking sync it looks like it worked but theres no music on the ipod and the playlist drop down in itunes is empty as well.
am i having trouble because its still registered to his computer and not mine??
    (we both have windows)
[ps. my brother and i use the same computer for both our ipods]

Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes

  • HT4113 How do you reset the Ipod once it is locked up and you frogot the code

    Help

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode

  • How do I get the iPod folder to stop poping up when I plug it in?

Every time I plug my iPod into my PC the folder shows up with like contacts and calender folders in the window. It never did it with any of my other iPods but this video one always pops up when its pluged in but I don't know how to get it to stop.

Do you have disk use enabled? If so, disable it.
Check iTunes/edit/preferences. With the iPod connected of course. : )

  • How do i get my ipod classic to stop making the sad face and saying to get on apple support?

my ipod classic goes back and forth between a dimmed screen with the apple on it and a bright screen with an i pod classic that has a frowny face on it and an exclimation point and a webside at the bottom saying "apple.com/support/ipod". and i dont know what happened to make it do this.

That usually means the hard drive has failed. You might be able to find a repair shop who can replace the drive or you may be able to do it yourself depending on the model.
It may just be better in the long run to just buy a new iPod. You can get a new 160GB Classic for around $200 or so at some online retailers.

How can I register my Ipod on a second  computer in order to sync

What you should do is copy everything currently on the iPod to your iTunes library first.  Once you have successfully done that, you can go ahead and chose Erase and Sync.

  • I have registered an Ipod to my Apple ID last week, how I can download the iWork in to my Iphone 5 ios 7?

Last week I registered and Ipod Shuffle that somebody gave me as a present like 6 o 7 years ago. I registered last week because I found it 7 years after, it was new and I did not use it before. I heard in the iOS 7 presentation that all  the users that registered an Apple product after the 1st september of 2013 could have all the iWork completely free. So I bought an iPhone 5 last June and now that I have registered another Apple product (last week) I realize that now I can download free all the iWork free. But how can I do it?
    Thanks,
    Yugoespaña

You have to ACTIVATE an iDevice after September 1 ,2013. The Shuffle is not an iDevice. You activated your 5 in June, therefore you do not qualify.
