How do I reinstall Acrobat XI to my Mac?

I uninstalled Acrobat XI after the PDF Printer stopped working and was told in one of the forums to uninstall and reinstall the application to get the PDF printer to work. I uninstalled the application but am unable to reinstall it on my Mac. Every time I try it takes me to the Creative Cloud Instaler and it says that the application is up to date even though it has been uninstalled and is no longer on my computer.
I am using a Mac with OSX. Please advise if there is a way to install this application as I do need it for the work I am doing and have tried everything I can think of to fix this issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application manager for creative cloud and searched my computer for the application files but I can not find them. I get no error message when I try to install and there is no file in my downloads folder for the application. Adobe help has so far been unable to give me any helpful information to fix this issue.

You can download and install Adobe creative suit/ Creative cloud cleaner tool to clean the left overs from the computer first and then try download and install again.

Hi Deepak, Acrobat XI crashes every time I open Acrobat preferences, which I am opening in an attempt to reconnect Acrobat with my default mail app, which is Apple Mail. Actually, you can and have downloaded from there, because that message only happens when the download is finished.
The message is entirely normal, and is Apple's way of encouraging the world to use the Mac App Store. That doesn't help you because Acrobat isn't in the Mac App Store - it isn't allowed there.
So, what to do? Change your system settings
Please follow the steps given below to resolve this issue -
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > Allow applications downloaded from > Anywhere

Now sign out from the creative cloud.
Sign back in

How Do I Reinstall Acrobat XI Pro After Uninstalling?

I have had nothing but trouble with Acrobat XI Pro since installing from the Creative Cloud. If a PDF from a client contains a comment or note, Acrobat crashes. If I try to open Preferences, it crashes. It does it intermitently. For awhile today I could do both, then it started crashing again. I've logged out and back in, shut down and restarted.
I've been poring over these forums all day and not seeing anyone with a similar predicament. Finally, out of frustration, I ran the uninstaller and tried to reinstall. Now the Adobe Application Manager shows that Adobe Acrobat XI Pro is up to date, even though it has now been removed from my system. I'm really screwed and on deadlines, Yikes! Please help!

After 2-hours on the phone with Adobe help we traced the problem to old CS4 files. Here's how we fixed the problem:
1. We ran uninstallers on all the old programs.
2. Ran the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool (set to "All" not just Creative Cloud).
3. Trashed the Adobe Application Manager.
4. Shut down and restarted the mac.
5. Re-ran the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool to make sure there was NOTHING in the list at all.
6. Re-installed the Adobe Application Manager.
Finally Acrobat XI Pro was able to install properly. Whew! I hope this helps someone else.

If you have bought the software from Adobe online, then you can login to your Adobe account to get the download link.
Alternatively you can download Acrobat X for Mac from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.
