How do I reinstall an OEM version of Adobe Acrobat Standard X

I have an OEM card for Adobe Acrobat Standard X. I cannot download the trial of this and then activate it becasue the download automatically goes to Acrobat Pro and then says the serial number I have is invalid. I cannot go to the store because I do not have an order ... it came as an OEM software with the computer I purchased. I cannot call anyone as there is no number listed. The website listed on the card takes me through the deadend circle expalined above of the Acrobat Pro Trial with an invalid serial number. So does anyone have any ideas?

Yes ... Jeff's forum link supplied the link to Dell of https://smartsource.dell.com. I did purchase the Standard version with a Dell, so I will go try to download it from the link to Dell. Thank you both. It is too bad that Dell does supply that link by putting a sticker on the card ... I think that would save a lot of people time and avoid frustration. I have had simular difficulties with OEM software cards in the past, but usually can get around it by downloading a trial version first. Again, thanks.

You need to go to the respective machines and launch Acrobat and check if it prompts for serial number.
You can also go to the help menu and check if 'Deactivate' option is highlighted.

The current updates 10.1.13 and 11.0.10 no longer support Windows XP SP3. The last versions to test were 10.1.10 and 11.0.3 I think. But I wouldn't recommend using those because of the Security Updates in between those versions and the current updates. Microsoft doesn't even support Windows XP SP3 any longer. I would say to try updating both the OS and the applications.

My computers harddrive that had the Adobe Acrobat Standard XI licience on it has broken beyond repair and now I need to install the pdf maker software on a new computer. This Adobe product was previously purchased last year.

How do I get my old Adobe Acrobat back. It worked great for what little I use it. I was updated to Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.04 and do not need that complex of software for just Creating a PDF file and being able to print a copy when I need it. Now if I try to print anything out of Word I am told my trial is over and if I want anything printed from word I have to buy the new acrobat. Why did is get rid of my old version which I got in school?

It should not have gotten rid of the old version. First try uninstalling the new version and see if the old version comes out of hiding.
If you need to reinstall the older version, you might be able to find it at the site linked below, but you will need to have the serial number for it to activate it to full use.

I have recently upgrade my os to windows 7 and when i try to launch photoshop, i recieve a message informing me to delete and re-install the mentioned file. The issuse i have is that photoshop came pre-installed on my laptop so i dont have a hard copy to do so. Sorry, but you have not understood me. No serial number forf PSE 6 can be entered into the trial to make it work like a purchased version.. You cannot use a serial number from PSE 6, any format of PSE 6, in any other version. Each new version number requires a new purchase. I was merely pointing out that while you can convert a trial of PSE 9, 10, or 11 into an activated version by entering a serial number for that version, you could not do that before PSE 9.
In other words, the trial for PSE 6 is a trial only and always. The trial for PSE 7 is trial only and always, etc. You had to uninstall the trial and install the bought version in all versions of PSE prior to PSE 9.

About 8 months ago we installed about 40+ Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0 installations throughout our environment. We then have had the time to create a completely hands free installation .msi that disables the AutoUpdate feature and a configures a few more items.
My question is:
How can I disable the AutoUpdate feature on Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0 without having to go into the Edit>Preferences Menu and deselect it?

This might be a stupid question but I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere and I am only lightly familiar with Adobe products. I have a user who has never had a previous version of Adobe Acrobat Standard installed but does have the free reader installed. Do I need a 'Full' version of Acrobat X Standard or will the upgrade work? I ask because it doesn't seem that the Adobe site even lists a full version of the software, only the upgrade version. I have however seen full versions available for twice the price at a small number of online sites. Adobe really needs to clear up this confusion.

I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop 2014CC and installed it but the software did not work. I did the update but it still did not work. So I uninstalled the software and tried to reinstall the trial version but adobe download allow me only to update which always failed as the trial version was uninstalled. How can I do. Without the trial version installed, can I buy, install the software and activate?

I finally resolved the problem by uninstalling the creative cloud and reinstall both cc and photoshop 2014 cc. This time it allowed me to reinstall. I guess the problem was caused by cc still flagged that the photoshop had been installed.
BTW my os is Mac OSX 10.7.5

Sorry, but we don't have time to try this or try that... The fact is, using version 2014.2 no problems. Suddenly it's impossible to work with.
Make a version 2014.2 available for download so that we can downgrade. I can't wait until the problems are solved, because we have to change some things very urgently.
