How do I reinstall iPhone software as I keep getting error 1015
I connect iPhone, iTunes says Restore and Recovery of IPhone, and update, when it has nearly completed with firmware, about 3/4 of the way it cuts out and the message says error (1015) ? how do I complete the (Restore) and then move on to update, can someone Help? please.

i have tried to restore my iphone but keep getting error 1015 any suggestion
Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.

Iphone won't restore. keep getting error (1)
Hello, I have a iphone 3gs 32gb running ios 5.0.1. It recently stopped working so i tried to restore it. I keep getting error code (1). I have tried over 15 times on 3 computers with 4 different usb cords. I NEED HELP!!!!!!
Thanks,I just got back from the Apple store in Ginza, Tokyo and they gave me a new 3gs. Since it already had the new software on it, I just had to restore from my last backup. Things have gone along pretty well but resetting a lot of things has been tiresome. The people at the Apple phone service center were great and set up the appointment for me here in Tokyo. The Genius bar guy just swapped my SIM card and I was good to go. This has been an ordeal but the end result is: my (new) phone is working! Thanks for everyone's suggestions but the failure to load the firmware update couldn't be fixed on my iPhone.
Greg
P.S. ccuba, I hope you get the same level of service that I got here! -
I keep getting error message, "The last backup could not be completed" when trying to backup Iphone to Icloud. I have plenty of storage space. Phone is plugged in, connected to WI-FI & is locked. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks
HELP! Is there anyone out there who knows how I can fix this????
Thanks! -

i keep getting a error 1015 on itunes does any one know how i can fix this problem it would be of much help thank you
Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software.

The machine I am trying to install on is a MacBook Pro. The software is for an IRIScan express 2 scanner. It says (and provides a disc containing the software) it is compatible with Mac OS.
In System reqirements it states the following:
This is the minimal system configuration required to use Readiris:
a Mac OS computer with a G3 processor.
the operating system Mac OS X version 10.2 (“Jaguar”). Earlier ver- sions of the Mac OS operating system are not supported!
110 MB of free hard disk space.
I have no idea what (nor where to find out if it has) a G3 processor is. My machine has Mountain Lion. Is this "above" or "below" "Jaguar"?
Any assistance will be appreciated.I'll try Silverfast.
Err... Try VueScan first. VueScan have one-for-all software, Silverfast - lot of modules for specific scanners. If they not have version for your specific scanner - no chances.
VueScan works with at least some IRIS models: http://applejac.typepad.com/applejac_macintosh_users/2009/05/vuescan-universal-s oftware-image-capture-tool.html
And I see 10.7-10.8 support on IRIS page: http://www.irislink.com/c2-1628-189/Mac-OS-compatibility-support.aspx -

I am trying to restore my iphone 5. I keep getting error 21. I have tried on several computers . What do I do?
Either your antivirus/firewall is blocking access to Apple's servers, or all of those computers you tried have been used to hack or jailbreak some iOS device in the past.

I purchased the multi-user iworks (yes back when it was new, 2009 or 2010 and recently had to replace my white imac's hard drive (but didn't pay to fix the CD drive). My iworks does not have a serial number on the box and now that my CD drive isn't working how can I reinstall this software?
Buy or borrow an external USB optical drive.
See the confirmation email or covering letter to obtain the serial number. If you have lost it, contact the supplier.
