I think (and I'll double check) only the BBLink events will sync on a wired USB sync. I'm fairly certain of that.
You'll need to use your calendar syncing via an EAS email account (outlook.com, for instance, is free) to sync wirelessly. It works great. I use it and was a former tied to the USB sync guy as well... and I thought I was gonna die a painful death without it. I found more freedom this way.
This explains the process. But I don't think you'll get BBM Groups to sync.

How can I reinstall if I purchased a download of my Adobe software?

I am considering updating from Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard to Acrobat Xi Standard and the only option is to purchase and download. My question is this; if I need to reinstall it for some reason, say I reformat my computer etc., how do I reinstall it without a disk? I have called Adobe and I have used the "chat" but no one seems to be able to answer this question.

you'll receive a serial number and a link to your acrobat standard installation file(s). you should save both until you are certain you will never need/want to install again.
the above is all you need to know. the following is additional info that might help you understand more thoroughly, but if it confuses you just reread the above and ignore what's below.
for all adobe software (except acrobat standard and outside of adobe cc which is a different story) when you purchase an adobe product, you get a serial number.
you then download trial software (for everything but acrobat standard) which you activate with your serial number.
software starting with cs2 is available via adobe.com or its affiliate prodesigntools.com EXCEPT the acrobat standard programs. (but, even they may be removed in the future so it's a good idea to save those currently available install files, too.)
the acrobat standard programs are not available as trials so those install files should always be saved for future installation(s).

When I initially purchased CS2 new I did have this very problem w/ Acrobat 8 Professional install not finding the CS2 products to authorize the upgrade product serial numbers. I actually have 2 sets of serial numbers dervived from this problem but neither are working.
I recently reinstalled CS2 on a Windows 8 system using Adobes files & instructs all of which are working find. I just need help getting the Acrobat 8 Professional installed.

Nevermind... I figured it out on my own. I merely installed via trial and then used 1 of the serial #'s and located my very old version 5 serial number... problem solved. Even with the missing AdobePDF.dll file, I managed to find that and fix that as well.

Curent version of OS 10.6.8 is running very slow. After formating, how do i reinstall this version as it was upgraded online hence no dvd available.

1. upgrade to lion, which should over write previous software and the reasons for it being slow.
2. Format the hard disc and reinstall snow leopard. Now how do i reinstall snow leopard as it was an online purchased upgrade from leopard.

No, you don't want to upgrade over a buggy system, Lion has issues of it's own that will only complicate matters, plus Lion is slower than Snow Leopard.
Learn all the pitfalls before you upgrade to Lion, like all your Rosetta/older programs will no longer work and more.
Leave Lion for a new hardware purchase is my advice, it's still got plenty of security and other issues.
For your performance, your likely better off replacing the hard drive with a 7,200 RPM model and maxing the RAM, download the free MacTracker to find out your specs, and OtherWorld Computing is good for videos, tools and parts.

That will work, provided your data is off the machine first.
Now how do i reinstall snow leopard as it was an online purchased upgrade from leopard.
The 10.6 Snow Leopard disk that you upgraded 10.5 Leopard from actually has the full OS X 10.6 on it.
All you have to do is stick the disk in and hold the c key down while booting, use Disk Utility to erase the entire drive, quit and install 10.6.
Of course your not going to get the free iLife that came with the 10.5 grey disks, see if you can first install 10.5 with the same methods, then setup with the same user name as before, then upgrade to 10.6
I think Apple nulled booting off the 10.5 disks, but it won't hurt to try.
Another method would be to install 10.6 fresh by itself, then use the program called Pacifist to extract iLife from the 10.5 disks.

I've heard that it will also cancel your current contract. That isn't such a huge deal unless your current contract is an unlimited one--you can never get it back.
Does anyone know for sure? I've asked AT&T and received a "Yes it will cancel your current contract." and "No, it is a new contract--you keep your old contract if you wish." I suspect it is the former but it would be good to know for sure before ordering the service.

If your files were in Acrobat.com they should be there unless you deleted them. Chance may be if you were logged in other device where you had same id synced on that device.
Otherwise files should be there.

I had to reinstall the OS to my MacBook Pro because my wife did a security update and when she restarted the system it was stuck on the grey screen w/ the apple and would not go any further. I did a complete back up of my system using DeJavu a few months ago to an external hard drive. Now what I want to do is copy everything from my external hard drive to my hard drive on the MacBook Pro. (Applications, Library, System & Users) How do I do this?
