How do I reinstall or repair my Cyberlink Webcam on my Windows 7 HP Pavilion

So I was attempting to delete a good majority of downloads and what not in my computer, and I deleted the entire photo album for my Cyberlink, and then did a program update for Cyberlink which did not work (just launched with a black camera view didn't even connect to webcam) so then I tried a system restore, and the only thing that has changed is it is back to the old version, but won't launch at all. I tried running as an administrator, still no results. I don't really know what to do from here, I don't want to keep messing it up. Any advice?

Hi,
Please download and re-install:

  • How do I reinstall iTunes 11.1.4 and Quicktime to Windows 7 PC?

I have noticed a fair number of users being unable to reinstall 11.1.4 by iTunes after deinstalling due to errors from the update. I have attempted to reinstall several times but the download installation never shows up on the desktop even though the welcome comment from the manufacturer thanks me for installing the product.
How do I reinstall iTunes and Quicktime and actually get the product back to my PC for use? I am using Windows 7 and have been a supporter of the iTunes for several years and would appreciate being a happy customer again! Thank you.

Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

  • How do I reinstall Flash Player after accidentally uninstalling it in Windows *?

Accidentally uninstalled Flash Player in Windows 8.
The Adobe site still sees it as on my system.
I tried the update in Internet Explorer and went through the steps on the Adobe site to no avail.
How can I reinstall flash player in Windows 8?
    HELP!  And thanks.

Thanks, Mike.  I saved the info you sent in case I need it later.  I did in the meantime find a backdoor and got the plug-in version of Flash Player installed after using Chrome as the browser instead of IE and Flash Player seems to be working fine in either browser.

  • How can I reinstall or repair Photoshop CS6.

Desktop and start menu shortcuts seem to be missing saying it moved or changed.  Didn't do a thing so no idea what happened.  Also the Bridge shortcut says the same thing!  I had to open the program for Program Files on the C drive!

Can you just remake the shortcut?  With Windows, right click the .exe file, and choose Send to Desktop as shortcut.  You can drag that shortcut onto the Task Bar, or copy by Ctrl dragging.
To reinstall download the installation files from your Adobe account, or directly from here

  • How do you reinstall HP Remote Solution Application after installing Windows 8

Well, I goofed!  I inadvertently uninstalled the HP Remote Solution Application after I had installed Windows 8.  I now want to reinstall it but the application first checks for the presence of Windows 7 and therefore, the installation stops.  Does anyone know how to get around this?  I used 7-ZIP to break the program into pieces, (sp44385), and there are two executables: Install.exe and hpprobar.exe.  The install.exe gets you to the dialog box that finally says, "Yes or No" to install it but it then fails because of Windows 8 being installed.  If you executre hpprobar.exe by it self, you get the dialog box with the scrolling bars but nothing ever happens.  There are also two DLL files; wbdib44i.dll and cpc_dmird.dll.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello ChuckC1812
If the problem is occurring intermediately, then another program may be interfering with the software. Try disabling the Startup programs and see if the remote works after that. For instructions on managing Startup items follow the OPTION ONE section of the following thread: How to Manage Startup Items in Windows 8.
The other thing I would like to mention is the software package you downloaded is meant for a different TouchSmart computer, as such it may not work correctly with your Remote and you may have "iffy" reliability at best.

  • I recently had a compromised computer now repaired, lost photoshop, it has been reinstalled, HOW do I reinstall images to program, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 9 from a back up CD???

How do I reinstall images to a ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 9 program fro a backup CD??? computer was infected and sub sequently
repaired , reloaded ADOBE now wish to reload images from backup CD....HOW do I do it????

I'm going to assume that you have reinstalled PSE9 but now want to get your catalog back. If you created your backup using the inbuilt PSE File> Backup Catalog feature, then in the newly installed version you would run File> Restore Catalog.
If you used a third party backup tool, or just copied the image files elsewhere then a lot will depend on whether or not you also backed up, or can still access, the catalog files. Give some more detail about this 'backup CD'.

  • Safari (7.0.1) is non-responsive (spinning pinwheel) upon start up.  It will work in temp user account but not in my main user acct.  I tried reinstall via comman-r prompt on start up but the problem persists.  Any suggestion for reinstall or repair?

Safari is non-responsive after intitial start up.  Before it can load the homepage (google), it will hang and give a perpetual pinwheel until I force quit the program.  Safari works in temporary user account but not in my primary user account.  I have reinstalled osx via the command-r upon start up and the problem still persists.  Any suggestions on how to reinstall or repair safari?

Thanks for thinking about my problem. I've already experimented with creating a new user, a co-administrator. The programs don't crash when that account is running, just as they don't crash when the guest-user's account runs. So it seems that the problem is limited to the default user's account, which is the one that was running when I installed the updates to the OS and the firmware. Another clue is that the programs that crash as soon as they are launched are *probably* the ones that were open at that time in that account. Yet deleting Saved Application States does not keep the programs from crashing when next launched.
So the mystery continues, but these additional facts will help with the diagnosis, I hope.
    Thanks again for your suggestion.

  • HT1926 How Do I Reinstall itunes?

I opened my itunes account and was asked to install the latest update to itunes.  Half way though installation I received an error message that the installation was not successful.  Now when I attempt to open itunes, I get an error message saying that itunes was installed incorrectly and to reinstall itunes.  How can I reinstall it if I can't open it up?

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now?

  • Application files are corrupted. How do I reinstall application files?

I own the macbook Pro. My application files are corrupted. How do I reinstall them?

    "Any more ideas?"
The point of my reply was for you to apply the 10.3.9 Combo Update over your installation. Repairing Permissions is always a good idea before and after any update or upgrade. Did you try this and still having Java problems/errors?
This will not harm anything to apply the Combo update over your OS.
You did not post which version of 10.3 you are using but you may wish to check to see if this Apple Knowledge Base article applies to your situation:

  • How do I reinstall Mail in Mac OS-10.8

My MAIL application crashed every time I sent an email. NOW, it simply will not boot up when clicked. HOW DO I REINSTALL MAIL (I tried deleting it, but the system won't allow me to delete Mail ... I was hoping that I could reinstall Mountain Lion and begin anew). Thanks, Eric

You would have to reinstall Mountain Lion, which you can do from your recovery partition (hold command R down as you restart).
There is an app called Pacifist that I used in the past, it can in theory remove just the Mail.app installer from the entire ML Installer; but you'd still have to download the ML installer.
Pacifist is at : CharlesSoft — software you always wished someone would write
Another option would be to restore Mail from a backup, from Time Machine, for example.
Have you tried anything else, like repairing your hard drive, or repairing permissions, or deleting the .plist file?

  • Front Row Uninstalled itself - How do you reinstall it?

Like some of the other posters here, I had FR working on my MBP. I probably last used it at the end of August. It is now no longer on my computer and I did not uninstall it.
I have checked that the problem is not with the remote, but no, the remote works fine, the application is no longer on the machine. I have checked the System folder mentioned in other posts.
Front Row is not available on the Apple site as a download anymore so can somebody tell me how I can reinstall it please. I found a link to FR 1.0 on the web and tried that, then a software update. The update downloaded 1.3 and I installed it but this does not work either, although I do now have FR in the system folder again. It is not started when the machine starts and I have tried repairing permissions etc.
    Your help is appreciated.

I was pretty convinced mine was gone, too. But as I learned in the other thread, Front Row is apparently like no other application. (I'm guessing because it actually controls other applications it's implemented differently.)
I think it was changed somewhere in OS 10.4 upgrades. I'd have sworn it was a plain old app once upon a time. But then, my memory's not what it used to be.
I was just glad to see it again!

  • How do I reinstall if the original purchase was by the Mac dealer I bought from

How do I reinstall my software to fix problems?  I tried to purchase on App store but it won't let me because it is already on my computer.  Anyone have any pointers? The guy I bought my Mac from who is supposed to be a good dealer around here has been not helpful AT ALL!
    thanks

It was pre-installed on your computer. When you first started up the computer you went through the Setup Assistant in which you set up your user account/name and password. I assume since you are here that you know your Apple ID and password.
If you need to do disk repairs and such:
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the Recovery Main Menu appears you will see what options are available such as running Disk Utility.
    To Reinstall:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
    Repair HDD and permissions:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    Do an Erase and Install:
Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    Erase the hard drive:
