How do I reload ACR 5.2

Need to modify CS5 to read Panasonic AWR-2 raw files. Downloaded file and instructions. Could not move old file in LIbrary/applicationsupport/Adobe/CS5/file formats so renamed it. Exactly how much of library file has to be removed-part after CS5?
When I tried to load Camera raw 5.2 file got error message- can't be moved. After authenticating, it seemes to load. But when I ran CS5 acr plugin was still 6.2. Running Mac osx8

If you are comfortable using the Terminal, you can search here for one solution about this very thing.
What problems are you having repairing permissions? Are you just getting lots of warnings? This is normal if you applied 10.5.2 from the software updater, and yes, usually the combo update will fix them, but again, if they are the ones I suspect they are, they are warnings and can be ignored.
I am sure that by this time Apple is aware of this problem and I would wait for the next update before doing anything as major as starting from scratch.
Again, search these boards, if you are in a hurry to fix this particular problem with 10.5.2, but whatever you do, be sure your TM backup is up-to-date.

Reboot holding down the Command and R keys. This will get you in to the Recovery partition. From there you can reinstall the entire OS. Please note, Server.app will not be included in the reinstall. You will need to log into your App store account to download it.

Was this a different computer/iTunes library than what it you had originally sync the iPod with? If so, that would explain why all of your content that WAS on your iPod was erased, since an iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time.
As for your current predicament, you'll need to figure out how your iPod is configured to sync music and then adjust it so that the stuff you don't want on it is removed during the next sync operation and the music you DO want on it will be transferred over to it from iTunes.

You need to first install the OS your Mac came on the bundled gray disks. Assuming it's Snow Leopard, you could then login into the App Store using your same Apple ID and password to download and install Lion.
If your Mac is a bit older and came with Leopard, 10.5.x, you can bypass that and install Snow Leopard from your retail disk. The only software you'd need to install separately from the gray disks would be the optional software, such as the iLife suite and other titles not included on the retail SL disk.

You may need to download Quicktime again (I can't remember if it's bundled with leopard or not)
QuickTime 7.7 for Leopard.
You can retrieve purchased registration keys this way:

A user installs a new font on the system (Xwindows in this case)
Java doesn't display the font when i ask :
java.awt.GraphicsEnvironment.getLocalGraphicsEnvironment().getAvailableFontFamilyNames();Thus i think that java buffers its font information somewhere. Anyone knows how to refresh te buffer?

If you mean the listing of internet streams that seems to have disappeared for many users of older iTunes versions over week ago. Probably some update at Apple broke older versions. No idea if it will ever come back but you can open stream URLs you find on the web and save them in playlists.

Power down, hold the Mouse button AND the Option/alt button down at bootup, that should open the CD/DCD tray & you can insert your Install Disc, as well as giving you boot options.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
