How do I reload Acrobat XI, lost my disc but have my Ser #

Can anyone help me? I need to uninstall/reinstall my Acrobat XI software but I cannot locate my CD. I do have the serial #.

Use the serial number you have to activate it and it should be fine.

Need to reinstall CS5, lost the software but have serial#

I was having problems with my product, I think from lare file sizes/lack of memory, and uninstalled the software with the intentions of reinstalling. After uninstalling, however, I discovered that I had lost the disc with the programs, but I have the serial number and all the information. I need a way to download CS5 (NOT CS5.5). I was wondering if this is possible, as I have already paid for the student edition for $400, and I do not want to have to repurchase it. Please help!

A project that was created in iMovie on another computer was then imported into iDVD on my computer in order to burn it (using "One step DVD from Movie"). I now would like to make another copy of this DVD. Can it be done in iDVD?

copy your dvd installation files to a usb drive or external harddrive and install using it.
or you might be able to download the installation files depending on your acrobat version.

How can I use Acrobat Pro XI upgrade when I have a previous version on a different computer?

I just bought an upgreade of Acrobat Pro XI and installed it on my laptop. I own Pro X on my desktop but when I try to open XI it asks for a serial number of a for a previous version on the laptop. The previous version is on a desktop. What can I do?

You just need to enter the Serial number of the Acrobat X to authenticate the upgrade.
There is no need to actually have the previous version installed on the computer.

If you are trying to export your Word file to PDF file please follow the steps below:
Using Web UI:
Log into https://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html with your Adobe ID and password
Select “Export from PDF”
Click “Select Files” button then choose your PDF file
Select the format from the list below
Check ON “Recognized text in” if your PDF file is scanned images to recognize the image to text
Click “Export” button
Click “Download” button in the progress bar after completion of exporting to download the file to your computer.
Using Adobe Reader:
Launch Adobe Reader X or Reader XI
Select “Tools” and click “Sign In” link to sign in with your Adobe ID and password
Select “Export PDF” then click “Select PDF file” link to choose your PDF file
Select format from “Convert To” pull down menu(docx, doc,rtf,xlsx)
Click “Convert”
Click “Download Converted File” link to download the file to your computer after the process is completed.

Lost my OS, but have all my iTunes on drives, how do I reinstall?

I was out of town and a friend spilled cola on my motherboard, wrecking my computer, but my disks stayed intact. I had my iTunes on my previous machine organized as follows:
iTunes info was in my My Music folder on my C drive (C://My Music)
Actual songs (m4a's, mp3s) all on my RAID storage (F://Music)
I have recovered all the data, but when I try to import the .XML file after reinstalling iTunes it tells me that it cannot find any of the songs that are in the playlists, etc. This is essentially about 10,000 songs.
How do I tell iTunes to import the songs, then tell iTunes where it all is, maintaining my library? I had all songs rated, and everything.

Help I lost my warranty but have my receipt.

I have an iPod Touch purchased in 01/13/2011 and I purchased the warranty with it. I lost my copy of the warranty but still have a receipt printed from my reward zone account. How do I know if this item is covered by accidental dropping or breaking it? I know it was a 2year plan and is going to expire soon. I would like to find out if I can use the warranty without having a copy of and if so....how to I use the warranty.

Any Best Buy store can look up your warranty information. Its ok that you lost your copy. The receipt should say something along the lines of ADH in the warranty description if I remember correctly. But just head over to a local Best Buy they can look all that information up for you.

How do I use a preamp for an input, but have it ouput through my speakers?

I'm using a Mobile Pre USB with the guitar plugged in through INput 2 and the Mic through Input 1. When I put the driver as the Preamp, I can't get the sound to output through my default Imac speakers.
How can I use the preamp while having the sound come out of the default speakers?

If I understand your question right (which I'm not sure I do), you would go to your audio midi set up in the Utilities folder. From there you should see an option for setting up how your USB Pre operates and you should be able to select it's output as the internal speakers. If you use this option though you will not get any midi output unless you assign it to a virtual instrument or an internal audio object. If your not concerned with that then this should work just fine.

Haven't lost song files, but have lost playlists and want to restore!

I store my songs (2300 in total) on a NAS drive. Two days ago, it was necessary for me to detach the NAS drive from my system. When it was re-attached, for some reason it came to life with a name that was a modified version of its prior name. Consequently, when I opened iTunes, although all of the songs in my library were listed, when i clicked on them, iTunes couldn't find them. A dialog box asked if i wanted to navigate to where the song file was located. Itunes no longer knew where to look for the file. I clicked on "Edit" and then "Preferences" and then selected "advanced" to see where iTunes thought the music files were located. The location was identified as the "Music" folder located on my computer's hard drive--not the NAS drive. (In the music folder, I have perhaps 20 songs that are remnants from a bygone day.) Within "advanced", I changing the location from the C drive to the NAS drive and thought that iTunes would then recognize the song files on the NAS. It didn't. I renamed the itl file as "Old Itunes library" with the intent of following a suggestion on the web to modify the song locations in the XML file. I then, for reasons that i can't explain, re-opened iTunes. When I re-opened iTunes, there were no songs at all listed--iTunes was blank. I opened windows explorer and noted that Itunes had created a new itl and XML file. It must have written over the "good" XML file. I didn't think that this would be a problem since I had saved the old itl file which i understand is the file which is really responsible for keeping the library organized.
I clicked on the old itl file thinking that my library would be magically restored, but nothing happened. I then uninstalled itunes and re-installed it, again thinking that it would recognize the presence of my song-library on the NAS drive. It didn't. I know that all of my songs are still on the NAS drive, but I don't know how to restore my playlists.
I have seen advice on how to transfer files from the iPod to the computer, but I don't think that that is what I need. All of my song files are present--they simply aren't being recognized on itunes.
My intuition tells me that the key to all of this is the itl file referenced above. However, I have not been able to do anything with it. Does anyone out there know how to help me out with this?

Do what it told you to do - restore.
You will lose anything that you have failed to backup.
Not backing up everything before any update is a mistake.

I bought Photoshop Elements 12, and I saw that it comes with a Windows and a Mac DVD. How many installations do I get from each disc (I have both Windows and Mac machines)?

Your serial number works on both Windows and Mac.
Your choice on how you mix and match the activations: Win/Win or Mac/Mac or Win/Mac.
