How do I remove a device from the list?

I had an old Bluetooth device that I no longer own. Its name still appears in my Bluetooth list. How do I remove it? The Troubleshooting manual says:
8. How do I remove a device from the device list?
Using the Bluetooth preferences, select the device you want to remove to highlight it, then click the minus sign. It is recommended that you remove a device from this list while the device is connected.
This does not work. There is no minus sign anywhere. I tried clicking the minus sign on my keyboard, but that is not it. Any suggestions?

What Bluetooth list? You've completely neglected to tell us what mobile device or computer running what operating system you are referring to.

I hope this isn't a no-brainer but I've looked in the manual and can't find the answer.
I replaced my MIDI interface but my autoload song insists on telling me that it is no longer present and I have to reset it to my new device every time I start Logic. It turns out that the first MIDI instrument is set to the old interface, which I then dutifully change to the new one (in the Arrange window) and it stays that way for the session, but next time I open it (after saving it) the same thing happens. It's only the first MIDI track that does this; the rest recognize the new interface.
But how do I tell Logic that I no longer have the old MIDI interface? I can't find anything in the Environment that refers to it.

I was connecting on my ipad to Find my ipad with the account of my sister (somebody stole her ipad..) and her ipad was obviously offline. Then i removed her device from the list (i know itd reappear on the list if it comes back online),but can i readd it?

mail keeps a list of previously sent addresses for a corespondent seperate from contatcs. I have corespondents who have changed addresses and if I am not carefull the old address gets picked and bounced. How do I find and edit the list?

From within the Menu bar in Mail, select "Window" - Previous Receipients. From here select and delete any unwanted or incorrect addresses.

How can I remove a device from the iCloud?

I upgraded my iPad, replacing the old one, the new one does not sync with iCloud Drive, in other words my iPhone 6 used to sync data with the previous iPad.
I have already checked the iCloud login and made sure iCloud drive is on on both devices and made sure the app in question is also on on both devices.

After logging into iCloud, you can select devices, and then remove the old device. Have you gone on the old device and disabled iCloud Drive, or signed out of iCloud on the old iPad. That would be the easiest I believe.

If you haven't already, do Settings > iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone. You will have to supply your Apple ID and password.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to make the iPhone appear as if it just came out of the box.

I merged my dad's iphone to my Apple ID a while back because he wants to buy an app and I have some credit left over so I let him used my ID on his device. Apparently, all my contacts, pictures from photo stream, and ical are now also in his device. And all his contacts, pictures, and ical are on mines. How can I remove his device from my icloud and Apple ID WITHOUT deleting anything? Like I just don't want him to get anymore of my reminders and contacts, and pictures? Because I'm afraid taht if I remove his iphone on my icloud, all the pictures/contacts/ical that he took and went to my device too will be deleted because those are some important pictures/contacts/ical?
I tried to manually delete some of my dad's contacts that was shared on my phone, it turns out that it got deleted on his phone as well and vice versa. How can I just completely cut him off of my icloud and ID without losing any of my and his contacts/pics/etc?

If you mean that she is sharing your iCloud account and you want to migrate her phone to a separate account, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep on her phone to her camera roll (unless already there) by opening her my photo stream album, tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward pointing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll. If she is syncing notes with iCloud, you will need to open each one and email them to her so she can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in her new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from her phone, not from iCloud; your device will not be effected by this), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create her new account and choose Merge to upload her data.
Once your devices are on different accounts you can each go to icloud.com from your computer and delete the other person's data from your account.

If your question is actually about removing content (you know how to add content), you are probably using the manual method to add content, and don't know how to manually remove content. For iTunes 12, on the horizontal bar that goes across the iTunes window (near the top), click the Music button near the left end. Near the middle of same bar, click Playlists. The sidebar appears along left side of window and Devices, your iPod is listed. Click the small triangle to the left of the iPod's name, to drop down its content list (indented below iPod). Click Music there. To the right, the list of songs on the iPod is shown. Select the song you want to remove and press Delete on the keyboard. You can do this with one or more songs selected.
You can also use the iPod's "management" screen. Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see its Summary settings screen. In the sidebar, under On My Device, click Music. This is the same as on the "content list" described above.

Your apps are not stored in your icloud account. You should be able to delete the app from the device using the wiggling icons and tap the X process and then downloading directly to device from the itunes store wirelessly. Don't do it via iTunes on your computer where a copy of the app is stored.
