I cannot print on my 110 series printer because a document that I previosly set to print is stuck in the Q. How do I remove it from the Q?

I am unsure which printing method you are referring to. If you are trying to print from a Windows PC, I would recommend running the HP Print Diagnostic Utility, found at the link below.

I put a DVD in my drive to watch a movie and it is making a sound as if it cannot red it and my computer is not booting up.

A stuck DVD should not prevent your Mac booting from its hard drive.
Turn your Macbook all the way off (hold the power button down until the power light turns off). Then try the following:
- Reboot the computer. Straight away, hold down the left button on the trackpad, or the left button on an attached USB mouse if you use one. Keep it held down and eventually, the disk should eject.
- Reboot the computer. Hold down the Option key until you see the boot panel on the screen. Choose your HD to boot from that disk. Once booted, is the DVD shown on the desktop / in the Finder? Try ejecting it there.
- If, once booted, you don't see the disk in the Finder, take a look at the disk slot. Can you see the middle of the DVD? Try pushing it in very gently.
If none of those help, you should take it to an Apple Store or authorized repair center for them to remove it.

Thanks so much! It will be kinda weird to contact the person directly, but I guess I will give it a try. Is there anything that I can refer her to in this discussion to let her know I am legit, and not a creeper? Also, I don't know if you can answer this or not. Try restarting, immediately press the mouse button (left button if it's a two-button mouse), keep it held down. That's a hardware-based instruction to the Mac to eject all removable media.

Mail, how can you remove an image that shows up in the header?

I have no idea how this image got where it is, but I would like to remove it. When I open Mail, I see in the address area of the email as it displays in the message viewer, to the very right of that area, there is an image, that I have no idea how it got there or how to remove. The following is a link (I think) Mail/Users/alaska_juliens/Desktop/Picture 7.png ...... that shows what I am talking about. I have gone through my signatures and made sure that image isn't in there and it isn't. Please help, it is driving my husband nuts, we would love to change the image to his company logo if possible, but we don't know if that image even shows up when others receive email from us or not (we email ourselves and it is right there in the address header of the email). Typically what shows up there is the address book picture for that contact. If they attach an image it will be added to the address book.
So go to the contact in address book and change or delete the image.

For some reason when the House symbol appears in any incidence on my Mac Pro lap top although it is only me that has ever used it it shows the name Sharon next to the house which isn't mine! How do I remove an icon that I added to the Home Screen in Safari?

I accidentally added a webpage icon to my Home Screen in Safari and cannot remove it. On the Home Screen the icons do not act like they do on the other pages of the iPad. They do not jiggle nor can they be dragged to be removed. In the process of trying to get rid of some I ended up creating duplicates. How can I delete some of these?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Try deleting the email account from your phone followed by a reset (hold on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo and release, ignoring the off slider that appars first). Go to webmail for you email provider and make sure the outbox and draft folders are empty, then recreate the email account on your phone.

How do I eject a disk that is stuck in the superdrive?

I have tried all the options I know, eject button on keyboard, eject icon, even restarting and holding the mouse button. It tries to eject but doesn't. It makes eject noises, but just goes back on the drive and starts playing again. I have been playing many discs lately with little problem - occasionally it would seem to get "confused" during eject and lose the disc - not even recognizing it as being present which required the restart-and-mouse-button technique to eject. But this is the first time it's gotten completely stuck in the process of trying to eject while still recognizing the disc's presence, and being able to use the disc as if freshly inserted.
Anyone have any advice? This is a 20" Early-2009 Intel iMac.

The trouble is, however I search for an answer to this question, I get instructions on how to back up stuff TO iCloud.
I want to back up stuff that applications like Pages and Numbers are already storing IN iCloud.
See, I don't want to have to trust iCloud to safely store my documents. Not unless there are copies somewhere that I can fall back on if (it's really only a matter of when) something goes fatally haywire in iCloud.
It's easy enough to do with a service like, say, Dropbox, which treats my "cloud-stored" files like they are in a folder on my hard-drive. So when I run either a local (Time Machine/Capsule) or a cloud (Crashplan, in my case) backup, those files get backed up. So I have at least three copies of those files - in Dropbox, on my Time Capsule, and on Crashplan's servers.
So how do I do that with docs that are stored in iCloud? Apple wants me to store stuff in iCloud - if I have iCloud enabled and want to save a doc to another destination, there are multiple steps I want to go through. And I'm fine with using iCloud if I'm creating documents that I want to be able to access from my iOS devices as well.
Yes, I can do that with Dropbox, but it's less seamless than doing it through iCloud.
But I want my own backups of those files, and near as I can tell, Apple makes that nearly impossible because iCloud does not show up anywhere as a folder that I can access or sort.
Or does it? Am I missing something?
If so, let me know.... if not... is there a solution to this dilemma, or is it just one more aspect of iCloud that Apple has not clearly thought through?

Right. You didn't read the post, you only read the title.
The title came from an earlier step in the process when I was posing a question to the systen.
The pertinent part of the question is "How to I back up documents that are stored in iCloud"
That the destination for the backup is NOT my internal HDD should be clear from the rest of the post.
And frankly, even if that is where I want to back up to, that would at least give me two copies, at least giving me one duplicate of the stuff on iCloud.
So please stop wasting my time if you can't answer the actual question: How do I backup content that is stored in iCloud. The destination of the backup is irrelevant.
