How do I remove a gradient section in CS6?

In both Photoshop and Illustrator, I am able to delete the selected part of a gradient simply by hitting the delete key. This seems to not work here, can someone tell me how to remove the aqua section from my gradient?

Boy, if there's a way to do that, it doesn't seem to be very easy. Is this an accessibility issue, or just preference?
Here's what I found: If you can select the color stop, its numeric position will appear in the location field below. From there, you can use the delete key to remove the stop/position.
But this often requires clicking on a color stop twice: once to reselect the original color (after the color picker appears), and then a second time to leave the color stop selected. That's more trouble than it's worth for me.
Incidentally, there was a Gradient command panel created for CS3 that offered slightly more in-depth gradient editing ability. Not necessarily what you need here; I just thought I'd mention it.

How can I remove the gradient background & border from an ImageIcon?

Problem1: Hey, I have a program that randomly displays a stop sign that I'm supposed to click on as fast as I can. And I created a gif with the stop sign, with it's background transparent. But when I added it to my application using an ImageIcon, whatever's supposed to be transparent in the gif is shown up as a gradient. There's also a border around the ImageIcon. Is there any way to get rid of these? Thanks
Problem 2: I also have a background for my entire application, but it stays the same size no matter if I maximize the application or run it on a different screen size. Is there any way to scale a background (it's animated), to the full screen?

What instructions? It sounds like you have got the wrong ones and are trying to delete a page in the Thumbnails, which will delete th entire section.
If you have a blank page in a Word Processing template, it is because there is some text on it, even a return, tab, space or page break:
Menu > View > Show Invisibles > backspace over whatever it is to get rid of it

The blank page is not blank, there is something on it like a return or word space, or a page break or return on the previous page that forces over to the "blank" page.
Menu > View > Show Invisibles and delete it.
Think of a word processing document like a scroll which you view through a set of frames (the pages).
The scroll is filled from the front and flows through as many pages as necessary to accomodate the text in the main text area between the margins.
Pages has one quirk however which catches out many users. Floating objects stay on their absolute page, the one where they were placed. If that page no longer exists because the text no longer flows that far, the floating objects are no longer visible. They are still in the document but off the end page, much like objects moved completely off the page to the right or down are still there but not visible.
So if you want to make sure floating objects are entirely removed from the document delete, or move, those first, then select the text on that page by dragging over it or shift clicking from top to bottom and hit delete.

Thanks, but this information was not useful. First it was outdated (2012 and the software is 2013/2104) in the Settings/Apps/All section there was no "Text Messaging" icon. Under "Phone/Messaging" the clear cache was not possible, it was not available, an active option.
VERIZON/GOOGLE - I am still hoping to learn how to remove my photo from my text messages - why is this so difficult? Why is something like this added without my permission or at my request? May be a reason to jump ship to iOS.

I compiled an ejb into a jar file and ADDED it to the list of already
added applications through the WLS6 console (I have WLS6 installed on my Windows
2000 machine).
In the WLS6 console I clicked Deployments->EJB->Install a new EJB->Upload
(to add a new ejb jar file).
Now I wish to REMOVE (uninstall) this ejb from the list of added
(installed) EJBs.
I tried to delete the jar file from the WebLogic folder where this
jar file was stored, but when I restarted WLS6 it displayed a panic that it was
unable to find the EJB component. So I had to undelete the jar file from the Recycle
Bin to the same WebLogic folder.
What I conclude is that although the ejb component got removed it
did not get UNINSTALLED .i.e some references to the jar file stayed on somewhere.
How do I remove and UNINSTALL my ejb?

Hello,
To remove it for good, you have to make sure you remove the .jar/.war/.ear
from the applications directory, and then modify the config.xml file.
To modify the config.xml file, make sure the admin server is not running,
and remove the <application> section that refers to the .jar/.war/.ear file
you no longer want to show up. When you restart the server, that
application will no longer show up in the console.
Of course, I must warn about modifying the config.xml file by hand. It's
not a recommended practice, but in this case, it's the only way to
accomplish this.
