How do I remove a license from a computer?

I have migrated all my files and applications to a newer workstation. Everything went fine. Then I tried to use a cloud application to my laptop, and I got a message saying I could not use the application on the laptop because CC is already installed on 2 machines I own. How can I disable or uninstall the license on my old workstation, so I can have useable copies on my laptop?

What Airplane Mode program? To stop a running program launch Activity Monitor (in utilities folder) and quit the program from there. To remove the program drag it to the trash or better use the uninstaller that should have come with it.

You cannot remove the license from a broken machine.
Install and activate the software on new machine. Adobe provide the license to use the software on 2 computers, if you exceed then you are prompted with message wherein you can de-activate/remove the license from old machines.

I had a technician to clean and remove Babylon search from my computer and it still attached itself to whatever I'm doing. I uninstalled Mozilla fox at least five times , then re-installed. please make sure that you don't have any babylon related extensions or other suspicious entries like 3rd-party-toolbars presently installed under firefox > addons > extensions (babylon also might install some unwanted stuff that comes under the names "Browser Manager", "Browser Protector", "Bprotector", "Object Installer", etc.) or in the windows control panel > programs section.
afterwards install the search reset addon - it will revert the most common customziations those adware programs do in firefox back to the default: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

How can I uninstall Captivate license from a computer I am not using?

I work at Tenaris and they have changed my computer installing Captivate on this one. Apparently license is also still on the old computer I am not using anymore, so a message about the license is appearing me, telling me that i will not be able to use it in 15 days.
How can I solve this? Can I remove the license using only this computer, from the other one? Please consider that I do not have access to the old computer.

How do you remove error 0X00000709 from your computer? I just removed one printer and added another!

     I have a HP Pavilion Elite HPE computer and had an HP 6500 printer as my default. I purchased a LaserJet Pro CM1415 and loaded it into my computer and removed (I thought) was the software for the HP 6500.
     However when I try to make the CM1415 my default it gives me an error 0X00000709 and tells me I can not do it. I no longer have any other printer listed, however I noticed some programs (Adobe for instance) don't even recognize the new printer, just the 6500 which got removed. I have already removed the drivers (software) for the new printer and reloaded it. Also I checked the registry and the 6500 is listed there. I did nothing with the registry at this time.
     I would like to know how I can remove this error and make my new printer the default (only one listed) one? Thanks in advance for any and all answers

a) Click on Start.
b) Type regedit in the start search and click Enter.
c) Move to the location mentioned below.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
d) In the right column, you will find key Device, change the value to your Printer name.
e) It is of the format for example: "HP LaserJet 4250 PCL6,winspool,Ne03:".
f) Right click on the value and click on Rename, change it to your printer name.

HT1296 How to transfer an itune license from a computer that is dead?

My computer (windows) crashed and cannot be salvaged so I purchased a new one. When I went to sync my ipad after installing itunes it wanted to wipe the ipad clean of any music that was not purchased through itunes. It said I didn't have a license on this computer. Since I cannot access my old computer to get the license number how do I switch to the new computer and not lose everything. I also have an iphone.

I don't know about transferring a license as I have never seen that. What you need to do is authorize the new computer in iTunes. Start iTunes on the PC and go to Store>Authorize this computer - from the iTunes menu at the top.
If you only have the old computer authorized for iTunes, you really don't need to deauthorize it yet. You can have up to 5 computers authorized at a time with the same Apple ID.
Next, you need to Transfer purchases from the iPad to the new PC, backup the iPad, restore from the backup and then sync with iTunes. Any content that was not purchased from iTunes will have to be transferred to the iTunes library by using a third party app. TouchCopy is supposed to be a very reliable app for that purpose.
Read this discussion for detailed instructions on how to sync to a new computer. You need to do it this way since you can't copy the old iTunes library to the new computer.

How to I remove music files from my computer through Itunes?

I had to reinstall itunes and create a whole new library. All my music is kept on an external hard drive which I keep plugged into my laptop, and Itunes reads the files from that. Before I had to reinstall, when I tried to delete a file, a pop up would ask me if I'd like to remove it from my computer as well as my library. This is no longer happening. All I get now is just a warning asking me if I'm sure I want to delete from the library. What do I do to fix this???? I have a lot of music I need to go through and clean up and I really need this option.

Drag the file into the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder, which can be found in your iTunes Media folder. iTunes will add the file to your library and will immediately move it to an Artist/Album folder and you will end up with only a single copy. How do I remove all ICLOUD from my computer?

I don't want any of my computers to be connected to any CLOUDS, so I'm starting with ITunes/Ipod. How do I disconnect remove Icloud from my computers. It is a security thing, my computers are all in my home I have no need for clouds of any type, please tell me I can remove all connections to Icloud.

If you have not download the iCloud control panel, then you don't have iCloud activated on your computer.
in iTunes if you have media purchased but not downloaded to the computer it will appear with an iCloud button next to it. That will hapen with content you downloaded but subsequently deleted. That just tells you you have access to download it again without having to pay for it again.
There's nothing going up or down or anything.

How can I remove content (video) from my computer and leave it on my ipad?

Thanks. a little more info would have been more helpful, but after looking it up I see how it is done with clicking manually manage on the summary page and then using the drop down arrow on the far left of the device list next to the device name.
