I have an ipod nano. I have an album on it with a truncated track. I have the album with the complete track on it in my library. I wish to remove the bad album from my ipod and then synch the good one. How do I remove the bad one?

Do you mean an audiobook? It will depending on how you have your iPod and iTunes setup. In the Sidebar, you should be able to expand the items under your iPod so you can see Books. Then rt click on the audiobook in your iPod's audiobooks and click delete. If the Sidebar is not open, then on Windows, the Crtl + S key will open it.
If you're 'Syncing' you iPod to iTunes, there will be other steps to remove the audiobook. You'd probably need to uncheck the audiobook in iTunes, then re-sync.

If it was originally on the camera roll try this: take another unimportant photo for test purposes, copy it to any special folder you have created within Photos, connect your iPad to your computer, locate it as any other external device, and most likely that Photos folder will be the only thing that will show up, locate the photo, delete it and then sync your iPad.
If the test photo is gone from the camera roll but still in another folder within the app then you know that the system works so go ahead with the process. I understand that there are other photo apps which might let you achieve your goal much quicker.

Apple removed the ability to hide purchases directly on the phone, but after hiding in iTunes on your computer, sync your phone & see if it also hides on your phone.

Connect the phone, click on the Photos tab and uncheck the albums you want to remove. Then sync.
BTW, the staff at the Apple store won't be able to do it unless you take your computer to them.

A couple of things come to mind:
Tracks may be ripped in an incompatible format
iTunes may not know where the tracks are.

If your account is showing in Settings > iTunes & App Stores (or Settings > Store if it's on an ealier version of iOS) then tap on it and you should get a popup which will allow you to sign out of your account - you can then sign in with your daughter's account

I just synced iCal with my iPod after removing mobile me and now I have duplicate calendars on my iPod Touch. How can I remove these calendars? My iPod has one set of calendars that is called "On my iPod Touch" and another set (exactly the same) called "untitled account". If the calendar still exists in iCal, delete it there and then sync your iPod. That should eliminate the extra calendar(s).
If that doesn't do it, make sure iCal is setup the way you want it and then do the following:
1. With your iPod recognized by iTunes, click on the Info tab in iTunes.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
3. Check the box on the application that you want to overwrite data on the iPod
4. Sync your iPod
That box will not stay checked so you don't need to worry about accidently doing it again.

Have gone back into sync mode and it wont let me access the albums on phone to delete. Such ridiculous situation not to be able to delete by choice on phone. Sync only repeats the process.
