How do I remove bcc or cc in mail

How do I send mail without showing the bcc or cc address?
It's been removed in settings, yet still shows up.

You can manage what attachments are kept through Mail preferences. In Mail, click the Mail menu in the menu bar and choose Preferences. In the General tab, choose the option of your choice for the "Remove unedited downloads" option. (I personally use the "When message is deleted" option, although I believe the default is "Never"). Note that you might see duplicates because an identical attachment was included on multiple emails.

lower left corner click on settings,
go to composing and check BCC, save and your done

You're welcome.
If that email address is your Apple ID, I don't believe you can delete it.
If you have your cell phone number selected as your Caller ID, when sending an iMessage it will be sent from your phone number.
Since your Apple ID email address is registered as well, if someone has your email address in their contacts, they can select your email address to send you an iMessage in addition to your phone number.
When this recipient says you are sometimes sending an iMessage via email, it is received as an email with the Mail app on their iPhone, not with the Messages app?

How do I remove/disable the Windows 8 Mail App

How can I remove the Windows 8 Mail App from my computer? I am unable to select another mail provider and I absolutely do not want to get my Passport aka Windows Live ID involved with my mail under any conditions whatsoever.
I have a vbs script that installed another mail provider in IE9 but it doesn't seem to work with Windows 8/IE 11. I want this mail application off my machine entirely.
How do I accomplish that?

You don't need to un-install it but if you still want to simply right click the mail tile in start>uninstall.

Just got a new iPhone 5S. Wanted to backup 4s to iCloud so I entered iCloud setup. In going through the iCloud set up process I created an iCloud e-mail account despite having no need for one. It appeared as if it was a necessity ?, I use MS Outlook 2010 for e-mail. iCloud set up requested I create an iCloud e-mail, so i did. I do not need an iCloud e-mail. In the process of setting up the new iCloud e-mail, setup removed all my contacts from Outlook and sent them to the iCloud e-mail account, I assumed that the contacts would be copied, not moved. I no longer have any contacts in Outlook. I would like to remove the new e-mail account from iCloud and ensure that the associated contacts are returned to my PC properly. All the iCloud e-mail help areas I have looked through have not provided any guidance on this issue. Perhpas I only went down ten layers of info and this info is in the 15th layer down? Thanks for any guidance, Apple/PC folks. Craig

I just found the contacts for my Outlook account hidden in an iCloud folder in Outlook.
I still would like advice to remove my new iCloud e-mail and return Outlook to it's previous state, if someone knows this?

How do you remove single click delete from mail?

I accidentally delete emails when cleaning out my inbox and was wondering if there is anyway to remove this single click delete function. I remember setting up mail and being asked if I wanted to remove the warning popup. Anyone know how to add this back?

You can remove it in Mail. Go to the Window > Previous Recipients. In the new pop up window you can highlight the ones you don't want and hit the "remove from list" button.

On one account only I have "other users" folder that lists all of the folders of every user on the server. On my iphone I have to scroll past pages of other user folders to get to any folder named with anything after "O"

Comcast uses POP3 and not IMAP like Gmail or
iCloud.
I had received an email quite some time ago that they

You can read the Bcc addresses just like the To and Cc addresses. But.... Note that Bcc addresses
won't be present in any message you receive; if you could see the Bcc addresses it wouldn't be a
blind carbon copy. If you create a message with Bcc addresses and save that message in your
"Sent Items" folder, you'll be able to read the Bcc addresses in that message.

They are probably in your Previous Recipients list. You can edit that list under Windows, Previous Recipients.

How do you remove duplicates in OSX Lion Mail?

I know there are a few posts floating around about removing duplicate emails with Mail Scripts, however this software isn't supported in Lion just yet. And I would like to do this now. What's the smartest way to remove duplicates across multiple IMAP folders on 1 account. I don't need something so elaborate that does cross accounts etc.
I've downloaded and installed MailSteward but it seems to only allow modifying a backed up copy. I need to remove live duplicates.
Anyone have any suggestions? Come on Apple, as if you guys don't get duplicate emails that this can't be programmed into the software...

How do I remove or find all junk mail?

I just noticed the my mail.app preferences for junk say "mark it as spam but leave it in the inbox".
So, I want to remove all junk from my inbox, but there's NO "is junk" criteria in the search feature.
I just added a new rule to delete junk email, and running rules on all messages selected in inbox does nothing. I edited the rule and when I saved it, it asked me if I wanted to run it. Again, nothing. Junk email just won't go, I can't find it, sort it, nothing. It's really annoying.

Are you using gmail? I don't think this is a feature of mail.app in Lion. I know gmail implemented this "enhancement" a while ago. I turned it off in the gmail settings because it was annoying when using the web interface. It's possible that mail.app is now mirroring this "feature" of gmail.

How can I remove Entourage as my default mail server?

I accidentally set up Entourage as my default email. I want to use APPLE'S "MAIL" and not Entourage but can't find a way to change the default from Entourage to Mail ... Any help would be appreciated.
