Hi...am having the same problem...so where is the file...I tried searching my entire disk & couldn't find the bonjour.msi file.
The file was eventually deleted accidentally.
Download and/or install again from scratch -> http://www.apple.com/support/bonjour/
There is a troubleshoot section on that address too.
Also eventually download iTunes again and install -> http://www.apple.com/itunes/

  • How can I remove malware from my computer?

I can't go to google mail page. I can't search words with any browser because nothing happen. I think it is malware. I tried spy bot-SD. But no result. Please tel me how can remove malware from my computer.

Try running malwarebytes, if that doesn't work.
Simply restore your system to the checkpoint before this happened. It's easy, On Windows 7, I just had to do it to get rid of the rogue program 'Antimalware Doctor'. Go to Start > ALL Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore click next and select the restore point prior to the time the infection occurred. Mine took only 5-7 minutes to run.
If you don't have Windows 7, you still can get to the System Restore by finding the location of your Accessories, normally System Restore is under this.

  • How do I remove Bing from my computer?

I downloaded some software through CNET download.com and just hit the quick install option. I should have hit the custom install so I could check the tick boxes of what I wanted. But it installed a program called conduit that hijacks your browser to lock your search engine. After reading posts here on Mozilla, I have not found a good answer as to how it can be completely removed from my computer including all the files and registry entries it has made.
Has anyone found a real solution to this problem?
I can't believe download.com would allow such a malicious piece of software to be included in their downloads! I will never use them or any other download website again! Go straight to the developer site for your downloads!

I found a guide on how to remove all of it and get my browser back here

  • How do you remove mackeeper from your computer

Does anyone know how to remove Mackeeper from your Mac?

"MacKeeper" is a scam with only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
    First, back up all data.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
If you have incompletely removed MacKeeper—for example, by dragging the application to the Trash and immediately emptying—then you'll have to reinstall it and start over.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
    In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the other functional components of the software will be deleted. Restart the computer and empty the Trash.
☞ Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
☞ Let MacKeeper delete its other components before you empty the Trash.
☞ Don't try to drag the MacKeeper Dock icon to the Trash.
☞ Don't try to remove MacKeeper while running in safe mode.

  • How do I remove greasemonkey from my computer?

I do not care for the Dream World puzzle solver by greasemonkey. I went into my computer's "add/remove programs" in control panel and cannot locate greasemonkey ANYWHERE to delete it...

GreaseMonkey is a Firefox Add-on, so its settings can be accessed through [[Using extensions with Firefox#w_managing-extensions|the Add-ons Manager]] .
You can remove 'GreaseMonkey' from Firefox entirely via the ''Extensions'' section, or specifically remove 'Dream World Puzzle Solver' via the ''User-Scripts'' section.

  • How do I remove Ask from my computer?

did a greeting card for someone and inadvertently installed Ask onto my computer... toolbar and search engine etc.
Having trouble following different instructions by using web sites

Depending on what it changed, there could be several places to look. I suggest starting here:
Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Some of these might have no other purpose than to make sure it's hard to remove Ask. Take out as much trash as possible here.
Next, in Firefox, open the '''Add-ons page''' using either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
That should remove the toolbar, but there might be some other settings you want to restore, such as your preferred search engine. For that, I suggest using the icon on the left end of Firefox's built-in search bar.
If you notice your settings changing between sessions -- that is, when you exit and start Firefox up again, it has reverted to unwanted settings -- check for a user.js file as described in this article: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]].
    Success?

  • If "Special Savings" is part of Firefox, how do I remove it from my computer, if not any help would be welcome.

When browsing Ebay, on each photo there is a [See Similar] button on the window. If I just brush the button a large window opens with a group of junk items for sale. In my opinion, this is a completely worthless piece of crap that I DO NOT WANT ON MY COMPUTER.
If this is part of Firefox and I can't remove it then I guess that as much as I like Firefox, Firefox will need to be replaced.

  • While dowloading an update for a program, several other programs seem to have been downloaded as well. How do I remove them from my computer or Firefox?

I have re-set Google as my search engine and home page, but "MySearchDial" is pre-written in the Google search bar when I open the Google homepage. This was one of the programs which was downloaded in addition to my selectred update.

It’s very sad, but many of the software down-loaders /
installers will trick you into installing not only their program,
    '''''but other programs as well'''''.
You have heard of the '''''fine print in shady contracts''''', right?
Well, some installers you need to look at the '''''itsy bitsy teeny weeny fine print'''''.
You are thinking you are giving the installer permission to install the program you want by using
the '''''recommended''''' option. But if you use the '''''Manual Option Instead''''',
you discover all kinds of stuff that '''''you do not even know what it is or what it does'''''.
From now on, everyone needs to '''''Use The Manual Option''''' to put a stop to this.

PhotoStream is a cloud service. You can't "take it off one computer and put it on another." All you do is enable it on the other computer. You can do that in iPhoto preferences.

  • How do I remove iWeb from my computer?

When I drop iWeb.app into "AppDelete" it tells me "protected item detected." How do I get it completely off my iMac?

Try deleting the three iWeb files manually.
1 - Can you drag the application into the Trash bin on the Dock and empty it manually?
If you can do that then
2 - go to your Home/Library/Preferences folder and delete the com.apple.iWeb.plist file.
    Lastly
3 - go into the Home/Library/Caches folder and delete the com.iWeb.plist folder.

  • HT1277 My previous server address for me still appears in the list of my present address. How can I remove it from my computer?

Every email I send automatically lists my old server email address, so with each email I must change my present email address as well as my CC email address (one is "sender", the other is CC). There must be somewhere in the computer where the old address is still stored. Can anyone help me. It's a bother to have to change the sender and the CC for every email.

If you are running 10.6.8 (this forum) I'd suggest in the Mail menubar at the top, click on the  Window item and scroll down and select Previous Recipients.
Locate your old email address and delete it.
I don't know if 10.8 is the same, but you could try it and see. If not post back and I'll get your topic moved to that forum.
