Well, generally you can use the clone-stamp tool for one, shortcut is S. It basically allows you to take data from any part of the image and copy that over. What I do is draw on a new layer above the one to modify- make sure you select Sample:"This layer and below" in the top toolbar when doing so. Other ways include blending something on top of the object too, using different blending modes. Painting over it works too at times (rarely). It'd be easier if we knew a specific case though...

If you use the pathfinders unite, you can be left with gaps between your filled objects. If thats the case, use your select menu to select all of one color, then add a stroke with that same color and increase the size of the stroke if necessary. Repeat for the next color until your done.

That would probably be easiest done with a curves adjustment layer and layer masks. Make a general selection of the flare with the Lasso tool and add a "curves" adjustment layer. Drag the middle of the curve down (towards the bottom right corner) some and add feathering to the adjustment's layer mask. Add another curves adjustment and, again, drag the center of the curve down, but invert the mask and use the brush tool, at low opacity, to slowly paint the adjustment on to the flare.

Obviously, you'll want to take your time and be a little more precise than I was in this quick illustration. You may also need to refine the adjustment layer's tone curve once you have everything close.

If the applications were originally drag and drop installations you can simply drag them to the trash and empty. If they were installed by an installer there should be an uninstaller included. If you're not sure you should check with the software developer for instructions. In this case Google can be your friend.

You can't move the Yahoo Toolbar from IE to Firefox, they are totally different "behind the scenes". However you can install it, [http://us.toolbar.yahoo.com/ http://us.toolbar.yahoo.com/] and I believe if you log in with your Yahoo account it will sync your data.

I am an IT in a government office who just switched our fleet to iPhones. We are not permitted to use certains apps that are either not in our data contract, touch the Cloud, or cause cost/personnel issues. Those items I try to corral in a folder "Unusable Apps" on a separate page where the user has little eye contact with them (outta sight outta mind right). I go through the motions of turning off every notification, update, share feature, etc. I can find but the icons are still on the phone. I just want them removed all together so I don't have to keep going through this and for those who can't fight temptation - they won't have to anymore. If you mean that she is sharing your iCloud account and you want to migrate her phone to a separate account, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep on her phone to her camera roll (unless already there) by opening her my photo stream album, tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward pointing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll. If she is syncing notes with iCloud, you will need to open each one and email them to her so she can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in her new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from her phone, not from iCloud; your device will not be effected by this), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create her new account and choose Merge to upload her data.
Once your devices are on different accounts you can each go to icloud.com from your computer and delete the other person's data from your account.

The only thing you can do is tap and hold the Kindle app icon until it wiggles. Then tap the "x" next to the icon to delete it. This removes it from the device.
Then open the App Store app on the device and look up the Kindle app. Then tap the icon to download it (again). That's it, there's no other way to do this.
When deleting an app from a device, that also removes all settings and other data files associated with that app. What problem are you having with Kindle?

Since I loaded Snow leopard, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark & Mail all quit over & over again. I never had ANY of these issues before loading snow leopard. I rely daily on the programs I listed. I am not saying once in a while, but constantly; opening the programs, exporting, placing graphics, emailing, you name it, it quits the program I am in. I keep sending apple the crash reports, but I am afraid I have reached my end. (Apple must have a folder fu;l of crashes with my email address in it by now.)
To maintain my sanity PLEASE tell me there is a way to do this without risking loosing any of my data.
I do have time machine hooked up.
Please be a life saver (sanity saver) and tell me how to get Snow Leopard off my machine!!!!!

First, Welcome to the Discussions,
Second, there is no way to successfully degrade an OS to a previous version. You would have to install anew a previous OS, thereby erasing all your data. Then you would take that version up as far as you want to go.
Of course if you've been using Time Machine you can recover to the prior system and retain your files using that.
Best of all would be to have a firewire external drive and use an app like this to make a clone on. No worries then if one wants to go back before any major changes very precisely.
