How do i remove duplicates from iCloud contacts

I have duplicates in my contacts in iCloud.
When I enquire how to remove them Apple say if the duplication is in iCloud I must contact Apple icloud Support; this is obviously in the States as they will not accept my phone number.
So how do I resolve the problem because what is mostly only odd duplicates in iCloud sometimes shows up as repeats of five or more on my iphone, ipad, and Macbook pro. Also some of the duplicates on the hardware only show the name with no content or repeat the phone number or address up to ten or more times within the actual contact card.

The songs I don't want aren't checked and haven't been for a long time. You would think that would be the answer, but it isn't for some reason.Nothing has taken the songs away. Songs that I have deleted from iTunes and even the computer still stayed on the phone as well as songs that were NOT checked. In addition to albums I have NEVER downloaded... unless many, many, years ago and have no recolection of it. And they are NOT in my iTunes library or stored on the computer. And I don't have iTunes match. I've also restored the iPhone this afternoon. Still have the songs! And I haven't even signed into iCloud since the restore... which I lost all of my recent contacts during, but that was my fault for not checking to make sure I synced them before restoring.

iOS has got Messages app, which uses iMessage to send and receive messages. iMessage can only be used in iPhones, iPads, iPods touch and Macs, not on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
You need an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac to remove your iPhone's phone number from Messages. After getting one, open Settings > Messages > Send and Receive, and remove your phone number. After doing this, when one of your contacts choose your phone number in Messages app, it will send a SMS instead of an iMessage

How do you remove songs from icloud so space not taken on devise?

I downloaded my current purchases and previous purchases into my icloud on my ipad . I did not know it would take up the space on the ipad. That worked thanks! I also discovered that you can hold the album cover art down(like when you want to delete an app) and an "x" pops up to delete the entire album or artists. That makes it easy to get rid of my wifes Pop music. Thanks again.

You can't do it on the iPhone. You'll have to do it on your computer. Open Address Book. Go to Cards>Look for Duplicates. Delete those from there. You also might want to merge some info too. You can also merge them using the merge option under the Cards menu.

My dad gave me his old iphone as he got an upgrade. I can't seem to change his icloud account to mine. I'm getting his updated calender and his mail - and there seems to be some confusion between both our accounts. He seems to be acquiring some of my contacts - some of which have names which have led to some probing questions... So basically this needs to be sorted out! How can i delete his account from the iphone but not his whole icloud account? he would not be happy if i did this...
