How do I remove iCloud music from my iPhone?

I have music showing up on my iPhone that I did not select.  These seem to be coming from iCloud as the music is stuff that was downloaded from the iTunes store.  I even removed one song from my iTunes library and yet it still comes up on my phone.  I only want the music I select in iTunes to be on my phone.  How can I get this done?

I really would like an answer to this question, too. Even though I have the music tab unchecked on iTunes for my apple mobile devices (phone, iPad), music loads onto them through the Cloud. Furthermore, when I delete a song from my iTunes library, the song remains on each mobile device. Subsequently gets reloaded to my iTunes library when I connect mobile device to computer. Very annoying.

  • How do I remove purchased music from my iPhone?

I have purchased music using my iphone.  Now I'm trying to remove the tracks from the phone.  They are not on any of my playlists that I have set to sync, but they are always still synced to my phone.  I have even gone as far as unchecking the Sync Music option in iTunes.  This removed all my playlisat tracks, but the purchased tracks are still on my iPhone.
How do I get them off? I thought there used to be an option on the Sync Music page of iTunes whenever I bought a track, but now I don't see it.

Synch your phone with iTunes and transfer your purchases to your computer.
Then once you're sure those songs are safely on your computer, unsynch them from your iPhone by unchecking them in iTunes.

  • How do I remove iCloud music from my library?

Can anyone tell me how to get my undownloaded purchased music out of my music library? I've sinked my phone with my iTunes which doesn't have the songs, but they're still showing up in my library with the iCloud download button next to them. (I've downloaded iOS 7, which is why it's doing this.)

    Hello glennahaha
If you go to Settings > Music, there is an option that says Show All Music. Toggle that off and you will not see all your purchases and will only show what is synced to your iPhone.

  • How can I removed purchased music from my iPhone?

I purchase most of my music on my phone  but i dont want it all to remain on my phone. i want it to be on my computer I also want to be able to only put playlists on my phone. for some reason it keeps duplicating songs that ive purchased. how to i fix it without entirely deleting the song from everything?

If you buy them on your phone, they're going to be downloaded to your phone.
If you buy them on a different device, and want to make sure they don't get downloaded to your phone:  Settings >> iTunes and App Store >> turn off "Music" under Automatic Downloads.
To delete a song, answering the title of your post, swipe your finger sideways on the song and selected delete.  If you have "Show All Music" turned on in Settings >> Music, they'll still appear, but not be local on the device.
I don't sync playlists, so can't answer that part.  Maybe someone else can.

  • How do i remove holiday music from my iphone

There has got to be an easier way to do this?!?
I have never synced my phone with a computer.
    I pay for music match.
I bought a bunch of Holiday music this last year, and I would like to temporarily turn it OFF until next year.
There is no way I'm swiping through each song in my xmas playlist to remove it.
    Please help!!!

If it syncs whenever you plug it in, then it's set up to automatically sync.
This article is for an iPod, but the same holds true for an iPhone. It sounds to me like you need to tweak the settings for automatic sync or switch to syncing manually. iTunes: Syncing media content to iPod

How do I remove iCloud music function from iPhone?

Thanks, operative word here is hide.
iTunes wants to keep music on the iPhone even after you want to clear it out and start over. I wish they had a "flush" function. At present after wiping it basically clean, down to one album, then checking the fill option, iTunes fills up the iphone with the same albums I just got rid of... I have a huge selection in my library to choose from. But it keeps returning to the same albums even though I have not checked them or artist. Frustrating.

  • Can't figure out how to remove select music from my iPhone 4 with the new iTunes

My old PC with all my music on iTunes died, and I need to remove some music from my iPhone 4 to make room for the new OS update. I downloaded iTunes on a different computer and tried to sync the iPhone to it, to move all the music on my iPhone to iTunes so I could deselect what songs I wanted to remove to make the storage space. I can't figure out how to do this with the new (non-user-friendly) iTunes update. When I sync the phone, the only songs that show up are the ones I have purchased on iTunes, but non of the songs/albums that I transfered from CDs. I don't want to reset my phone to delete ALL my music, just select songs/albums. Can anyone please help me figure out the new iTunes to be able to do this? It is driving me nuts and I'm getting really mad at Apple for their constant updates making things less easy to use!

i have the same problem, if u find it out please let me know :C i can erase or put new songs from my pc to itunes u.u

  • How do I remove all music from my I phone 6 ?

How do I remove all music from my I phone 6  ?

If you use iTunes, connect the device to the computer, select the iPhone, go to the Music tab, remove the checkmark from that and sync. You will see a warning about removing music and then click OK. I know that works very well, I just did it on my phone and then synced my music back, I was having a little problem with album artwork. One minute everything was gone, and a few minutes later, I synced everything back.

  • How can I remove all photos from my iphone?

How can I remove all photos from my iphone?

    Hi pjdemeo,
I understand you want to delete all of the photos from your iPhone.  As a precaution, I would suggest importing the photos and videos from your iPhone into your computer.  This will give you a backup for the images, and after import you will be asked if you want to delete the photos.
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201302
The iPhone User Guide has instructions for deleting photos directly from the device:
Organize photos and videos - iPhone
    http://help.apple.com/iphone/8/#/iphf14943e
Delete a photo or video from Photos. Tap the Photos tab, tap the photo or video, tap , then tap Delete Photo or Delete Video. Deleted photos and videos are kept in the Recently Deleted album on iPhone, with a badge showing the remaining days until the item is permanently removed from iPhone. To delete the photo or video permanently before the days expire, tap the item, tap Delete, then tap Delete Photo or Delete Video. If you use iCloud Photo Library beta, deleted photos and videos are permanently removed from all iOS 8.1 devices that use iCloud Photo Library beta with the same Apple ID.

My Macbook was stolen last month.  I have replaced my macbook and was wondering how to get all my music from my iphone on to my new macbook?  I thought Icloud would save my files, photos and music but it apparently did not.  Any help is appreciated.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
Was your backup copy of your computer stolen as well?
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone:  File>Transfer Purchases

  • HT4915 How do I remove a song from my iPhone that I pulled down off the Cloud?

How do I remove a song from my iPhone that I pulled down off the Cloud? I don't want to remove the song from my library, just my iPhone.

If you're using iTunes Match, currently this is not possible.  For some reason the ability to remove individual songs was removed with iOS 6.  All you can do is delete all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage, tapping Music, swipping across All Music and tapping Delete), then redownload the music you want on your phone from iTunes Match.
If you're not using iTunes match you could try swipping across the title of the song and seeing if the option to Delete appears.  Not sure if this is still possible for non-iTunes Match users.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss.  To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software.  See this document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
