How do i remove movies from my arcobat reader app, i tried drag and drop but they remain. this is under itunes, not in ipad.

i draged 2 movies into my acrobat reader app under itunes and i can't figure out how to remove them. they don't show up on ipad but they remain in itunes under the app they wont delete, i can't drag them out of app the delete option is not available and i can't locate where they are stored in windows other than the originals that i accidentally moved into acrobat reader. they are taking up space because i can drag them to desktop and they make a copy but it wont let me delete them. does anyone have a suggestion? windows 7, 64 bit all updates applied to ipad, itunes, windows. ipad gen 4. 32gb. i would like them gone just a pain in my *** seeing them there and i can't get rid of them.

ok solved my own problem, uninstalled acrobat reader, which inturn removed all my acrobat content, reinstalled acrobat reader abd it cleared all files, had to re-import files, long way to solve issue but it worked so problem resolved.

What happens when you drag it?
Make sure the drive you are moving the files to has enough available space to receive the file:
Click on the movie file and go to File > Get Info and note the "size"
Check the drive to which you are moving the file to make sure it has enough available space: https://idisk.me.com/madisonfile-Public/web/finder-drive-available-space-and-for mat.html
Also note the format of the drive you are copying too. If it is not Mac OS Extended or FAT (not recommended unless you are taking it to a windows computer) then that may be the issue.

You may have some problems because Apple has not certified that everything works with Windows 8 yet.

Well, turbo.264 is indeed very nice to have - even for converting full-sized movies. It entirely depends on your needs. The top players (AVPlayerHD / ProPlayer, It's Playing, GoodPlayer) all have different strengths and weaknesses. When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

I tried to update my system and it says that I don't have enough space on my hard drive. When I went to delete files it shows quite a bit of space being taken up by movies. I don't have any movies on my iTunes but they are on my cloud. How do I remove them from my hard drive? I am a rookie Mac user so if you can help please help with steps. Thanks!

I suggest that you download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Delete or transfer to an external HDD what you do not want on your internal drive. Don't forget to empty Trash.

I was thinking about why the songs arent importing and I feel that its either, A) the format of the files has changed since you last imported them, or B) you may need to rebuild the iTunes library.

Note: After re-creating your library, any devices that you sync with iTunes (Apple TV, iPod, iPhone, iPad) will see your iTunes library as a new library and will completely resync. 2. Locate your iTunes folder (this is the folder that contains the iTunes Library and iTunes Library.xml files).

If your Podcasts list in iTunes is empty after following these steps, learn how to add them back into iTunes.

How do I transfer files/folders to an external hard drive without "dragging and dropping"?

Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble trying to transfer folders of pictures and individual pictures to my external hard drive (which God forbid isn't an Apple product). I attempted to drag and drop, which usually works. I have also attempted to find an option in any drop down menu which will allow me to import/transfer/etc. the photos from my Macbook to the external hard drive. This is maddening because the hard drive was immediately compatible and I can see everything that's on it already, I just can't really do anything with the content going either way. Is it because I need to compress things? Something like that? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

In iPhoto, Select All the Photos you want to move... Then Goto... > File > Export >
Choose the settings as seen here

Upgrade from eprint to hp connected - can't drag and drop apps to arrange them like I did before!

I upgraded from eprint to HP Connected today. Now it won't let me back into eprint website (and, yes, I would not have gone back if something didn't work right at hp connected).
I could drag and drop the placement of my apps to arrange them as I want them on the printer display touchscreen at eprint. However, I can't drag or drop anything at hp connected and I don't see any help on managing the placement of apps on your printer.
How can this be done? It was easy before - just drag and drop and website updated printer. I have a officejet 7610.

Thanks for trying but your answer is incorrect, according to an email I received today from HP Connected:
"I have reviewed your email. I understand that you have questions related to rearranging the order of the apps on the printer. I know this can be frustrating, and I want you to know you're certainly valuable to us and I want to do everything possible to ensure your complete satisfaction. The following information should provide the answers you need:
1) Unfortunately when HP launched the new website (www.hpconnected.com) they did not include a method of rearranging the apps on the printer. They may include this feature in a future update, however as this time it is not available.
2) If you have made the upgrade from eprintcenter to HP Connected you do not have the option of returning. Eprintcenter is in the process of being eliminated and unfortunately retuning to the old site is not possible."
I hope <<S-O-O-N>> HP fixes this new website -- it's crazy to take away any controls like this from their customers and not either embellish them or at least leave them be.
I may take this 7610 OJ back for a new Brother 11x17 all-in-one --- they look nice )

How to get UIComponent of the selected node in af:tree with drag and drop

Are there examples showing how one could get a UIComponent using DropEvent to be used with a Popup showing as a custom "context menu" at the target node ?
Right now, with dropEvent.getDropComponent, we could only get the tree.
We like to get its selected node so that the popup shows at the node level, not at the tree level.

We like to show on our custom "context menu" using PopupHints (not using facet name contextmenu) with 3 commandMenuItems.
Since component id is needed by PopupHints to place this custom "context menu", we tried
RichTree dropTree = (RichTree)dropEvent.getDropComponent();
alignId = dropTree.getClientId(context);
// alignId = pt1:pt_region1:1:pt1:pc1:navTree
getClientId returns us the tree id and hence the context menu is placed next to tree.
We like to place the context menu next to a target node of the tree when dragging and dropping.
But we couldn't figure out how to get that node id.
In your suggestion,
List dropRowKey = (List) dropEvent.getDropSite();
RichTree dropComponent = (RichTree) dropEvent.getDropComponent();
dropCompoent.setRowKey(dropRowKey);
