How do I remove older Apple ID I'm no longer using on my Mac?

I cannot use App Store to get updates because security has disabled my "older" Apple ID.  But it's greyed out and I can't log in with my new/current Apple ID.  Originally I had a .me iCloud account with a different email address when I got this computer.  Now, I subscribe to iCloud and have a iCloud.com email address.  For some reason my computer is still linked to the older account.  How do I get around this problem?

I can log in to my new account, fine.  I understand that part.  A little History:  I recently upgraded to Mavericks on my mac.  Now I have an update to iPhoto that I can't get.  The reason is that the original iPhoto (version 9.2.1) isn't compatible with Mavericks.  When I'm in the app store and trying to update to the newer version 9.5.1, it keeps bringing up my old Apple ID info and it's greyed out and I cannot change it to the new account.  I've when through various help screens and I keep getting looped into this problem.  I saw a message about my older ID being disabled for security reasons.  Don't get me wrong, my new Apple ID works fine for the cloud and al and for purchasing new appsl—I just can't update my original apps that I got with my computer.
