During a weding shoot the leans release button brok. How do i remove the leans?

You may need to call Canon.
The mounting ring on the lens has a tiny hole in it. The lens flange on the body has a tiny spring-loaded pin. When you mount a lens (red dot on lens lining up with red dot on body) that pin is pressed into the mounting flange until you rotate the lens far enough that the hole aligns with the pin and the pin locks into the hole. The sole purpose of the lens release button is to retract the locking pin.
When you press the button, it pushes against a metal tab which pulls the locking pin back. You may actually be able to see a tiny bit of that tab on the lens-facing side of the release button (through the tiny gap where the button fits into the body.) If you can press that metal tab back, it will release the pin.
The release mechanism is fairly simple... it seems as if it'd be hard to break. If the lens is trying to twist (somehow jammed) then it can make it so that the pin does NOT want to retract. If I attempt to rotate a lens which is locked on my camera body I can feel just a very tiny amount of play (which is normal.) If you're lens is jammed in and putting sideways pressure on the pin then it probably wont have any play at all - and that might make it hard to press the lens release.

If you mean the Operating System Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) then I think you can run the installer for a previous version (if you have the installer). I have not tried this as I do not plan to go back.

You can't. Aperture is non-destructive, the master file (either still of video) is never altered.

I have tried to download many times, it just says retry and will not work, so i thought if i could delete them from the download queue then i could start over...how do i delete from queue or is there another solution

automatic downloads is turned off and already was. Nothing happens when I swipe left and right on songs that are not supposed to be on it (and they are also not showing as being on the ipod when it's plugged in). I don't think the songs are actually on the device but they do play when she shuffles her songs and she doesn't want that. And there's no rhyme or reason about which songs are showing in the songs list.
As for syncing, the ipod had not even been synced since we first bought it and put songs on it. The correct songs were on it the entire time until yesterday. It had not been synced at all (only plugged in to charge and itunes was never turned on while it was plugged in). What is involved in "syncing correctly"? Don't you just hit the sync button in itunes? We have 5 ipod touches in our household and have since 2009 or so, so we aren't complete beginners when it comes to them. We've synced before.
eta: for now I've created a playlist of the songs she originally wanted on there, so that she can at least shuffle through just those songs. We'd still like to solve this though.

Just like you delete any other file. On the file explorer click on file until you get choices to delete, copy, etc.
You will not be able to delete the file if the program is running in memory.
Dont exit the programs by clicking on the x on the window. Use the stop or exit buttons provided with the program.
Review all the programs in memory and verify that the file to be delete is not running. (There is one button on the pocket PC to see all programs running)
