How do I remove software such as old games. I've tried to remove it the traditional way but it doesn't work
I am running iOS 10.95 on my Mac Book Pro. I want to remove some no longer wanted software...some old games and such. They can't be deleted in the traditional ways such as holding down the pad until the app giggles and hitting the X or by dragging and dropping. What can I do?
Actually the "holding down the pad" method in Launchpad is relatively new, and will only work with apps that you downloaded from the App Store. Other applications will not show an X in Launchpad.
You should delete them from Finder by dragging them out of the Applications folder to your trash. If they have an uninstaller in their application folder, you should use that instead.

Why is my diabled login greyed out after i unlock it? I have tried to remove the library file but it doesn't work. It worked the first time and than all of a sudden it was greyed out.
Where do you see a disabled login? In system preferences? In Login screen?

I've got a touch iPod and for about a week now it's almost been permenently zoomed into the screen? I actually cannot get it to zoom back out. I've tried pulling the screen out with my fingers but that doesn't work. It's zoomed in on my home pages, on my music, settings everything! It makes simple things like deleting a number from my password login extreamly differcult. Please can someone help?!?! Thanks.
Double tap the screen with three fingers to un-zoom.
Then go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom and turn this OFF. -
I am acquiring cosine wave and a pulse wave as input and I want to store their peak to peak values into an excel file. "Write to File" is not working for it. Is there any other vi which can be used for data logging?

Can you provide more detail when you say that the Write to File VI doesn't work? Is there an error given? Or can you just not find the file on your computer? Keep in mind using this file in a Real-Time VI on the myRIO will save files on the myRIO. You will then have to transfer to your PC. I have set up my music to sync only checked items, however, all the songs are still on my iphone. I only want certain songs on my phone, but it still shows several songs that I have not checked off. How do I remove songs from my iphone but they still will stay in my library.
What you need to do is go to music, and slide your finger to the right on the song you want to remove from your device. The song will still show in the music app but will have a cloud with an arrow beside it and you would have to re-download the song to your device to be able to listen to it. And also, this will only take the song off your device and it won't be removed from your library on iTunes. I hope this helps!

When I choose to open a new tab from a website, such as facebook, it always opens it in a new window. How do I change this to just opening a new tab. I tried changing the tab settings but it did not work. I did not have the problem until I started using firefox 4.

I am trying to find out how to assign files with particular extensions to the appropriate software. At the moment when I create a file using Word it is apparently given the extension .docx but Word doesn't recognise its own files. How do I allocate the extension .docx to Word?
