How do i remove stuff out of lauchpad?

so i tried to remove my "Macintosh HD" icon out of my desktop, i couldn't, so i dragged the 'Macintosh HD" icon in to the 'Launchpad" icon. I thought it would work, but it didn't. So now i have a bunch of stuff like "Embed", "AddPrinter", "Software Update" etc.. on my Lauchpad. I tried to remove them by holding the app down but it doesn't show the "x" to remove the application

Click on the icon you want to remove and hold it until you see the icons start shaking. Once they are shaking you will see the x to delete the icon. You cannot delete all icons though.

Well you open the file in your favorite editor, find the line with the <c:out> you don't want, highlight the first part of it (up to the ${, and hit the key labelled "delete", then highlight the tail part of it, (from } to the end) and press delete again.
Or you could use a tool to do a global search and replace.
But seriously - why do it? What does it hurt? What could it break?
The <c:out> tag escapes html characters for you, so you ARE changing the functionality of the application by doing this.
Actually taking a closer look, you are using JSTL1.0 (from the URI)
If you have a JSP2.0 compatible container (eg Tomcat 5 + ) you should just upgrade to JSTL1.1
- replace standard.jar and jstl.jar
- change your import line to <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" %> (note the subtle addition of /jsp)
- upgrade the declaration in web.xml to register that it is 2.4, rather than 2.3 (using the new xml schema syntax)

Did you fail to create a backup of the device prior to attempting to update?
Why did you choose to update iOS without first ensuring there was a backup and that all of your media and pictures were on the computer the device normally syncs with? Sorry, but that was beyond not smart.
If you've lost media, pictures, contacts, etc, there is nothing that can be done without a current backup to restore from. Hopefully you have learned an important lesson.

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :

2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad

Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.

If you haven't already, do Settings > iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone. You will have to supply your Apple ID and password.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to make the iPhone appear as if it just came out of the box.

Ok you can reset the stream from www.icloud.com
Goto www.icloud.com
Login with your iCould username and password.
and login
Then click on your name in the top right hand side of the screen next to sign out,
it opens a window Account details with Language, Time Zone, Advanced
Select Advanced - Then click Reset Photo Stream. and confirm, the stream will be reset and totally deleted
I still think you should be able to remove individual pictures though, a blured image etc is a problem

IF you cannot pull it out with your finger tips, you need to take the machine in for service to an Apple Store or AASP. Doing this type of work yourself could seriously damage the computer so it's best left to professionals.

Disable or remoce the Calendar, that is creating these events, Terry.
To find out, which calendar is creating these events, ctrl-click on one of the events and select "Get Info".
In the Info panel click the color icon in the upper right corner to find out the calendar, that created this event.
Then reveal the "Calendars" Sidebar (press the "Calendars" button in the toolbar) and select the Calendar, ctrl-click it and delete the calendar or disable it.
