How do I remove the black double font on my text slide in iphoto '11? I selected a font and font color but for some reason the font appears in black also in a double font format
Whatever font I select, it is showing up double with the second set of the font in black (I selected red - but if I select black it shows a double line of black) - kind of like seeing it blurry. I've never had this happen before. The font type shows selected as regular. Nothing I do gets rid of the blurry looking second font.
I'm on a Mac Book Pro 15" running OS X 10.8.4 with iPhoto 11 v. 9.4.3
Are you using the "Reflections" theme in your slide show? Then the mirrored reflection is built in and you cannot remove it. It is part of the design. Pick a different theme, if you do not like this feature.

I downloaded a movie last night from iTunes and it downloaded to my laptop and my phone but for some reason it now won't play on my laptop. The album artwork on my laptop has gone and it exists perfectly on my phone. What do I do?
I paid for it so I'd really like to avoid paying again just to see this movie. Is it because it's on my iPhone? Whenever I try to click on the movie to make it play it just does nothing like it's not there. The file for the movie exists within my iTunes library files but I can't seem to click and drag it into iTunes or open it with iTunes. I need some help resizing my images on PS6. I am using a mac and have been trying to resize with same resolution and constaining proportions but for some reaseon the smaller resized image appears pizelated. Heres an image of before and after. The first image I use is a JPG 72dpi 1500px x1500px and I want to downsize it to 600x600px same res, but it keeps pixelating, this has never happened before. Any suggestions, thoughts?

Hi, I have backed up 2 IMACs and one Mac Book Pro but for some reason, the 3rd IMAC come up with this problem: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/Anthony’s iMac.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1). Why? The computer system is up to date and I have had no issue with the other computers, just this one.

i just got a new apple tv but for some reason the remote only worked for about a min. and than it wount work at all. i tried to pair and unpair but nathing works but when i press a button the light on the apple tv turns off. what should i do?
Have you held the menu and left arrow together for 6 secs ? (I think you have from what you say).
Also try unpowering and restarting AppleTV.

I have photos on a USB memory stick which I want to put onto my iPad. I bought the USB adaptor but for some reason the iPad is not recognising the memory stick. Can anyone help? Thank you
You need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them. But a lot of USB memory sticks need more power than is supplied to the kit, so you may need a powered hub between it and kit.

I tried linking the facebook contacts to my phone(iPhone4s) but for some reason my conatcts doesnt wants to show the FB images in my contacts even though it said facebook contacts were sync. What could be the issue? How can it be fix so I could sync my contacts with Facebook?
Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.

Hi there
So I just changed from an iphone4S to an iphone 5 because my screen didn't work any longer on the 4s but the phone itself still works so I managed to get all my contacts etc BUT for some reason I can't transfer all my music across to itunes and therefore I can't get it onto my new phone, it only transfers about 50% of it.
Then when i go into music on the iphone 5 it shows the music but won't let you play anything and just flicks through all the songs without playing anything.
Can anyone help please?

I have a new mac. So I am new to everything. I also have an iphone5S. I have all my photos on my mac now in the iphoto thing. Just realized that all of them moved automatically to my phone. I do not want each and every photo on my phone. Probably only 400 out of the 1400 that is there. How do I choose which ones to move over? Instead of it automatically doing it. Thank you.
Your photo stream photos will still go to your Mac, and will appear in iPhoto. Furthermore, checking Automatic Import as shown in the image above will automatically add them to your iPhoto library so they aren't deleted.
Unchecking Automatic Upload will stop iPhoto from automatically adding photos in your library to photo stream
The other thing you should check is the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings. Connect your phone to your computer and open iTunes. Then click on the name of your phone in iTunes and click on the Photos tab. Here, make sure you haven't checked "Sync Photos from iPhoto" and selected "All photos, albums, Events, and Faces" as shown in this image (click on the image to see a larger version):
If you have, you are syncing all your iPhoto photos to your phone when you sync with iTunes. If you've done this, you can uncheck "Sync Photos from iPhoto" and sync again and they will be removed from your phone. -
Hi- I am trying to download music from my computer to my ipod. I have an itunes account and the music is on the computer but it won't go to ipod, it keeps telling me I need to download an upgrade but the upgrade does not complete itself and after like 2 hours displays an error sign. How do I fix this so I can get the music to my ipod. Both ipod and computer(toshiba, windows 7) are brand new. Help!! I am not technologically smart!
I suspect that you are saying that you can't download/install the latest version of iTunes.
All I can say is try removing and reinstalling the Apple software using the following:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have further problems with installing Itunes I suggest you post in the iTunes forum since you have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem. Also report the wording of any error messages. What they say is importent on resolving them. -
Help! I updated iTunes on my windows 7 laptop and I updated my iOS on my iphone4 and I used a USB to plug it into my computer but it doesn't have the "iPhone"" icon appear in the corner of the screen. I got this VI form a member of the forum. He used it for the same reason so I figured that it worked. I can't seem to fine the reason that it stops at 24 minutes. Could it been something on my computer stopping it. But I have run this VI on several PCs and got the same results.

CLOCK.vi 40 KBI am not sure what the VI is supposed to be doing. It seems like it will keep track of time it takes to execute x (=3600xNumeric+1) numbers of iterations. How long it takes depends on the system. If the VI runs slower on a particular system, it will take longer to execute the same number of loop iterations than on another station. For example, on my machine it took 6 min to execute the VI with Numeric=1. Another factor is the wait time set in the loop to =100. I don't see anywhere this taken into the consideration.
I am sending you another VI that counts the time from the start of execution until the Stop button is pressed. Of course, you can replace the Stop button with a condition that suites your needs.
