How do I remove the extra photo stream albums?

Using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.
When I take a photo using the Camera App, the Photos App creates a new, separate, Photo Stream Album with only 1 photo.
Now I have 50+ Photo Stream albums.
Here is what I've tried, but still cannot remove these albums (in no particular order):
- Turned on/off Photo Stream.
- Deleted iCloud account from iPhone
- Reset Photo Stream from iCloud.com
- Forced quit Photos App (and all other apps)
- Restarted the iPhone
- Deleted all photos via Image Capture
- Attempted to "edit" albums, but no option to delete
But still, these photos and albums still remain. I am able to tap on an album, see the picture, and have the option to save it to my camera roll (but it doesn't actually save it to the camera roll).
One final obervation, every time I turn on/off Photo Stream, it creates an additional empty Photo Stream album. So now the list of albums keeps growing.
Very odd behavior. Any suggests from the community before I do a complete restore?

I have a similar problem. I told iTunes not to sync any photos and delete whatever was there. Then I turned off Photostream. Even when I did that I have an extra Photostream with no photos in it. There's no way to delete it.

How to permanently disable the Shared Photo Stream on a windows pc

I've got the Icloud control panel installed on a windows7 pc. On this specific pc I only want My Photostream running. I've tried to disable the Shared Photo Stream - but when I log off my windows user account an then log in again, the checkmark next to the Shared photo Stream is back, and iCloud starts again downloading the shared stream. How can I stop this behavior? I want to permanently disable the Shared Photo Stream.

Try this method of duplication:

1. Insert the DVD/CD;
2. Open Disk Utility, and select the DVD/CD from the left side list (select the DVD/CD icon on top);
3. from the DU File menu select New | Disk Image from Disk 1;
4. Choose to format the disk image as DVD/CD Master, name the disk image and click Save;
5. When the .cdr file is finished select it with mouse and press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info and check the box to lock the file;
6. Choose the .cdr file from the left side list, click Burn, and insert a new, blank DVD or CD.

I have extra tracks of the same song,plus extra albums showing of the same album in their relevant lists how can i remove the extra ones safely?.

Since you are syncing your iPod nano to your computer, the best option is to remove the duplicates from the iTunes library on your computer. Then resync your device. The article below will show you how:

How to Hide/Remove Name from Photo Stream Public Website?

I'm using Aperture 3 to share a photo stream on public website and just noticed that my full name is shown at top right corner. Is there a way to hide this for privacy concerns and still share pictures with non-iCloud members?

I tried changing my name (Apple ID). It had no effect on the Aperture photo stream website page (and yes, I tried it with a new photo stream).
I still think your name should not be included by default with public website, as well as ability to prevent pictures from Copy/Save.

How do I back up my photo stream album photos (not in camera roll) to USB?

Is their a way I can directly save my photo stream to my computer? I have deleted many pictures from my camera roll and wish to keep photos in their respective photostream albums as there are over a thousand! The only way I can seem to do it is to save the pictures back to my camera roll and back up to USB as normal but that then duplicates any photos I haven't deleted in the camera roll?! Help!

How do I delete photos from my Photo Stream?
You can delete photos from your Photo Stream the same way you delete other photos from your device. Just select the photo you want to remove and tap or click Delete. When you delete a photo from Photo Stream on one device, iCloud will automatically delete it from the Photo Stream album or view on your other devices.
Note: Deleting individual photos from Photo Stream is supported by iOS 5.1 or later, iPhoto 9.2.2 or later, Aperture 3.2.3 or later, and Apple TV Software Update 5.0 or later. You will need to manually delete photos you downloaded to iOS devices running iOS 5.0.1 or earlier after updating to iOS 5.1.

How do I remove the extra space when I manually changed a component ?

Hi,
I have changed a , lets say 10cm² component to 2cm² component by hand. Now I am stuck with some 8cm² extra space where I can not place any other component in.
I know I have changed it in the passed but I can't figure out how I did it.
Any suggestions?

How to I remove the extra page in pages?

I created a custom template in pages on my iPad2 and pages threw in an extra page at the bottom. I'm using this to send as an email newsletter, I don't want there to be an extra blank page. Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried everything I can think of.

If using Clay's suggestion changes the formatting of the document in some way - you can try this as well.
Sometimes word processing apps want to throw in an extra page at the end of a document because you have hit the absolute limit on the document size. I see this in Word and Pages files.
Try increasing the document depth/length just a little bit in the file and see if that helps. But first create a duplicate file that you can mess up and not have to worry about.
Launch Pages. Tap on the Edit button in the upper right corner and all of the thumbnails will start to wiggle. Tap on the document that you want to duplicate and then tap on the + sign in the upper left corner to duplicate the file.
Open the copied file. Tap on the wrench icon in the upper right and select Document Setup. In the setup window - Drag the header section up a little bit and/or the footer section down a little bit and then tap Done. See if the copied document dumps the unused second page now.
If that didn't work the first time - keep extending the margins until the second page is gone.

How do I remove the extra large icons

I unplugged my phone this morning and the icons are HUGE. I can't see to do anything. I have tried everything, I tried to turn it off, and then on again. I tried to go into settings to make the icons smaller. I am unable to use from phone. Any advice?

You have Zoom on... double tap with three fingers to turn it off. Go into Settings > General > Accessibility to disable it.

I followe the instructions on resetting my photo stream. It deleted all the pics from one Photo Stream Folder but not the other. I dont even know how I got 2 photo stream folders. Depends on which photos.
Camera Roll pics ( taken with the iphone) can be deleted one at a time from the iphone, or when you import them to your computer as with any digital camera.
Pics synced to your iphone from your computer are deleted the sam way - the sync process. Open itunes, select what you want on your iphone, sync.

I have an iphone 4s and i have been reading that i can use photo stream to store my pictures on the icloud using my photo stream. I have been using photo stream but the only streams i have is my shared photo streams how do i create a my photo stream album? I have the icloud control pannel installed on my computer and that contains the my photo stream album but has no pictures in it as if my phone is not properly linked to it or something. What do i need to do to get this to setup correctly?

You might try uninstalling the iCloud control panel for Windows (listed as "iCloud" on the uninstall programs list), then reinstall the latest version again from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.

IPhoto doesn't recognize all Photo Stream albums.

When I take a photo with my iPhone, the photo goes to my photo stream. I then send it to my TV Photo Stream album. The TV Photo Stream album is displayed on my Apple TV. My issue comes when I sync my iPhone with iPhoto. iPhoto doesn't display all my photo stream albums, i.e."TV Photo Stream" How do I get iPhoto to display all of my photo Stream albums? I only use one account, so I know that I am signed in under the right ID. I am not sure were to post this inquire, should it go to Photo Stream or iPhoto? I am not sure what App has the issue, or is it just me? Thank you,

Upon opening iPhoto, it asks me what photo library I want to use. At the left hand bottom there is a box saying (translated by me from Norwegian):
"iPhoto cannot start without a photo library. Select a library from the list, find another library on the machine, or create a new library to import files into. The library you chose now, will be used automatically next time you open iPhoto."
Then there is a box with no libraries listed, and underneath I've got the options of creating a new library or simply clicking "other library".
First time this happened I created a new library and thus there are 2 libraries: iPhoto-library and iPhoto-library_2 to chose from when clicking "Other library" There is also a non-selectable (grey) "Photo Booth-library" in the same list, which is in the path user/Photos/iPhoto-library or .../iPhoto-library2. But when clicking either of these the "open" button just keeps flashing indefinitely. Upon trying to open iPhoto-library or iPhoto-library_2 from Finder, it just opens iPhoto and prompting me to chose library like before...
The only thing that I changed (I think) is that I installed PSE 12.
