How do I remove the frame that pops up around boxes I can type in?

I am new to MAC,
For exaple: When on Face book a black frame pops up around the serch box at the top of page and if I scroll down reading post say at the bottom of the page and there is a pic i want to see when I click on it I dont see the pic it flips all the way back to the top of the page where the frame was then I scroll all the back down to the pic click on it again I now can see the pic, any one help? this frame or box may not be the issue.

and pick out which machine type you have (8xxx or 9xxx) starting from manual page 90. From the exploded view, which item are you looking to replace? Generally, #2 or 3 is the system power supply, presumably with the fan you're describing?
I don't know if the fan can be replaced independent of the power supply unit. If so, hopefully another member will be able to advise you.

Yes. All of the phones that use the same ID for iCloud will be sharing the same iCloud account. Any data synced with the shared account will be merged and will appear on all devices. Also, any actions taken on synced data (such as deleting contacts or adding calendar events) will be replicated on all devices sharing the account.
To keep your data separate, everyone should use a separate iCloud account with a separate ID on their devices. You can continue to share the same ID for iTuens; it does not need to be the same as the ID you use for iCloud.

I have the exact same situation as you mattiger18. I cannot install Lion or I will disrupt programs that I run on Snow Leopard that are critical for my work. Apple is not providing a solution for us. Last time they migrated from Mobile Me to iCloud they lost months of emails and had emails bouncing to my accounts. They destroyed 8 weeks of my business. They have done it again. They have already lost several months of my emails and they are bouncing my business email. It's outrageous!
I spent thousands of $ on my software and I have no intention of installing Lion or other OS iterations. It is bad enough that Apple's service patches are crippling some of my applications. My biggest regret was not altogether getting off of iCloud and setting up all my business email on other email servers like gmail, etc. It is so outrageous what Apple is doing it is beyond words. Later we synced an ipod touch and when asked if we wanted to transfer purchases from the itouch before syncing my son responded yes. This created duplicates of the songs. The problem is ..... How do I tell which is the upgraded song so I can delete the old version?

There are various ways of doing it.
If you go to View>>Options and ensure that "Kind" is checked, old tracks will usually say "Protected AAC..." whereas the iTunes Plus tracks as shown as "Purchased AAC".
You can use this information in a smart play list to get all the tracks you don't want together for easy deletion.
You can also Look at Get info>>Summary tab.
Oldtracks will generally have 128 bit rate and an M4p file extension. iTunes Plus tracks have 256 bit rate and an M4a file extension.

This computer is not one that I want to import photos to (or sync with the iPhone), so this message is just very annoying, and it pops up all the time. I cannot find a way to disable this message. It is constantly appearing. No application is launching, I have turned off the iPhoto launch in the Image Capture app as well as in iPhoto. Because your computer sees your phone, as it would see any digital camera, as long as you have photos in your camera role. Since you state you don't sync with this computer & have a passcode on your phone, that's why you get that message. The only way to prevent that message is either start syncing with this computer; remove the photos from your camera roll prior to connecting; or first turn off your passcode before you connect. Either that, or you live with it.
You shouldn't be storing photos in your camera roll anyway. iPhone camera roll is not designed for photo storage. You should be regularly importing them.

How do I replace the frame from the monitor on my GX740?

Problem: When I move the hinges on my laptop, sometimes the screen goes black until I move it into a different position, like the light disconnects (in fact, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what happens, as I can still see some stuff on the screen; it's just not lit). Having had LCD problems in the past with other machines, I figured "hey, probably just a loose connector, it happens; I should be able to just lock that strip back in place quite easily" (why they don't just make those connectors less prone to falling out - especially ones located in or near hinges - eludes me).
Sure. If I can just get inside the monitor frame. Which it seems I can't. I removed the screws, but when I tried to pull off the plastic frame, it cracked. The plastic frame around my monitor now has visible cracks in it.
So now I need to know not only how to remove this frame, but if possible, also where I can get a replacement for just that one part. I'll gladly take just an answer to the first part and live with the cracked frame as long as I can do something about the loose connector, but if there's an answer to the second part as well, that'd be really neat.

I've never had a machine that's so hard to open. This strikes me as quite user-unfriendly design, especially given how little it takes for an LCD connector disconnect, especially one located in the hinge area of a laptop.

How do I remove the LOCK that shows on the I-tunes screen when I plug in my IPOD (the IPOD sybol on the source list first turns red and then black when I connect). The list screen goes grey and I cannot delete or upload my IPOD. I have downloaded the new software on both I-tunes and IPOD. There is a physical lock shown at the bottom of the I-tunes screen next to the bar showing used/free space on the IPOD. My shuffle works fine.

You may be heading for a software reload on the iPod. It's not difficult, but it does require reloading all the audio files as the process completely erases the iPod. Always grab the current version of the software from http://www.apple.com/ipod/download
Run that download, which installs an iPod program on your system. Then start that program from Start menu, All Programs, iPod... Connect the iPod, and tell the software to do a Restore operation.

Your problem is with the Community Toolbar.
It's a terrible app/plugin that messes up Macs like the plague.

Sometime Bing is not located in the Add/Remove programs section of the control panel.
