How do i remove the updated garage band? I prefer the old version
I feel very uncomfortable with the update. crashes alot and slow responses. it frustrates me when I can't get things done quickly.

Do you mean GarageBand 10.0?
Just ignore it. The installer for this update left your old GarageBand version installed. It is in a subfolder "GarageBand 6.0.5" of Applications. Just use this version, until the inevitable teething troubles of a new GarageBand 10.0 have been solved.

Many in the Pages for Mac community regret having deleted the older Pages ’09 v4.3 application as it retains over 100 features/functionality that are missing in Pages v5+. When you read a Pages ’09 document into Pages v5(.2), the latter will filter out any unsupported feature/functionality from the older Pages document.
I dragged and dropped the explicit Pages.app icons for Pages ’09 (/Application/iWork ’09) and Pages v5(.2) (/Applications) to my Dock. I exclusively use the Pages ’09 application file chooser to open older documents, and a double-click on known newer documents to open them in Pages v5(.2).
The differentiation between the older and newer documents can be done with different custom tag colors created in the Finders preferences. Then you can search in Finder for the custom tag name (e.g. p4, p5) and see only those specific documents. -
Made a new iTunes address, and added new payment details, old apps won't update because my old signin pops up! Even tho in settings on on first page it's my new name? You can't all apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase/download it.

- Note that apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -

You do not register the phone with the laptop. If you are using the same Apple ID on the new phone as the old, you will have no trouble. Connect the phone and you can restore from a backup of the old phone, or just sync your new phone if it is already set up, with the laptop, managing your content in iTunes.

you could see if that make of printer has an uninstaller (may come with the installer)
or go to preferences, print and fax, and press the minus key ( - ) which should maybe remove it. Or ,do a a find, then type in the make of printer, and anything that looks like a printer driver for that make, well, maybe it's gotta go

I had a trial version of Pages for 30 days and then purchased the actual software without removing the trial. Now when I try to edit documents and save them it sometimes wont because it tells me I am using a trial version.... But sometimes it lets me!! How can I remove the trial version? If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

If you had iMovie 9 and upgraded to Mavericks, iMovie 9 should still be in your Applications folder in a folder called imovie 9.0.9. You can still use it and your Events and projects folders should still be present.

Since you have a Intel Mac, if you can upgrade to OSX 10.5.x then you may be able to use more current releases.
