How do I remove this stupid music store from my beloved desktop?

I just made the MISTAKE of downloading and installing iTunes 6.0.2 and a huge amount of my desktop now has a NON-REMOVABLE ad for the iTunes store which I do not want or need.
SMELLS LIKE MICROSOFT!!!!
Please someone help me get rid of it. I'm now going to go turn off automatic update.

Hiding the mini-store window disables it. You can hide it by going to Edit > Hide MiniStore, by pressing Shift-Command-M, or by pressing the mini-store toggle button which is the 4th one in from the right at the bottom of the iTunes window. There is no way to remove the mini-store.

I do not need it, I do not want it, and somehow I accidentally installed it. I can find no uninstall button, it's not in my Vista Programs and Features to uninstall, and I"m tired of waiting for it during application load and getting in the way of my shortcuts and whatnot. Are you running the latest version of CF Builder by any chance (2.0.1)? If not, you might want to download and install it. It actually uninstalls the previous version of CF Builder (2.0.0) and installs the new version (becuase 2.0.1 uses a newer major build of Eclipse). This will allow you to start with a "clean slate" when it comes to which add-ons are installed, but it should maintain all of your project settings.
Another idea, although this one could be pretty dangerous. If you feel comfortable trying this, close CF Builder and:
Make a copy of your \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe\ColdFusion Builder 2\features and \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe\ColdFusion Builder 2\plugins folders as a backup.
Make copies of \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe ColdFusion Builder 2\configuration\org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator\bundles.info and \Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe ColdFusion Builder 2\configuration\org.eclipse.update\platform.xml as backups.
Browse each of those folders from step 1 and find any folders and files with "Tasktop" in the name. Delete just those files and folders.
Open \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe ColdFusion Builder 2\configuration\org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator\bundles.info in a text editor and remove lines that have references to Tasktop.
Open \Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe ColdFusion Builder 2\configuration\org.eclipse.update\platform.xml in a text editor and remove lines that have references to Tasktop.
Launch CF Builder.
If CF Builder wont' run after that, revert the folders and files to the copies you made in steps 1 and 2 above.

No question about that. If you can "see" Travis's device, then he can likely "see" your Time Capsule.
I'm just concerned that whomever the APExpress belongs to could be changing settings on my computer or Time Capsule that would cause the issues with me not being able to backup.
Make sure that you have a Time Capsule base station password. Unless a user has that password, they might be able to "see" your Time Capsule, but they cannot access any of the data on the Time Capsule or change the settings.
Open AirPort Utility, click on the Time Capsule and click Manual Setup
Then, click the Time Capsule tab below the icons to see the device name and password for your device. Make sure that you have entered the password and confirmed. Click Update if you have made any changes.
The message I get is "The backup was not performed because an error occurred while copying files to the backup disk. The problem may be temporary. Try again later to back up. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk."
I am not sure what this error means, because I cannot duplicate it here to test.

Although there is not a way to remove past purchases from your iTunes account completely, you can hide them so that you don't have to see them if you don't want to. This article will help you do that:

Hide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.
Go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right side of the iTunes Store.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books from the top of the window.
A list of your purchased items for the content type you are viewing will appear. Mouse over the item you want to hide until an X appears its top-left corner.
A confirmation dialog will appear once you click the X.

I have mine set to "always deny," since I'm naturally of a suspicious nature. Most likely, you have yours set to "always ask," which is why you get the message. You can automatically allow local storage by cicking on the tab with the "folder and globe" icon, and clicking on the box next to "allow third party flash content to store data on your computer." The other tabs contain similar settings.

If it was on an iOS device then to try and stop it happening again, then (depending upon the iOS version on it) you may have a Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password setting which you can set to 'Immediately', and you should also be able to turn off in-app purchases on the Restrictions screen 'In-App Purchases 'off').

To sign out of what ever Apple ID is signed in, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then tap the Apple ID and you will see an option to sign out.

I believe that I have the same issue with iPad Mini with Retina Display, iOS 8.1. No matter which way I delete videos from my iPad, they will still show as "deleted", yet the space is not cleared up. I tried restore and then a full restore (clean setup as a new iPad) and it still does this to me. I can solve it by doing a restore each and every time I download a video and delete it. Rather frustrating. Has been a problem since day 1 of iOS 8. I'm yet to try the power+home button reset. It may very well work, but I am surprised that a "fresh setup" of an iPad didn't resolve it from ever occurring.

Yes, this is really a deal breaker for me as you say ... I'm forced to write three times slower than I did on Windows 8, that's horrible (I used to type about 110 words/min).
I'm going to return my Mac and I think I'm going to buy an Asus laptop instead ...

If your Apple ID was changed from your old account, you may have to change it back to your old account to be able to sign out and then change it back after that is done. Take a look at the article below for more information.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your phone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I have a BT Infinity router plugged into the Time Capsule, not sure where the radio settings are?
They are able to use the network settings of the TC i.e. they can connect to the internet via the wifi through the TC but when they try and connect to the AirPort Disk this is where it is not allowing a connection.
I don;t have the drive shared out at all at the moment, is this necessary? How do I do this if so?
I have attached the screen shots of all the settings.
