How do I remove trial offer of this program?

I downloaded a trial offer of iWork '08 several days ago. I only use Pages. I have had problems too numerous to mention since the download, including lost saves of extensive writings, as well as numerous hassles and harassments to buy the program each time I try to save something, and also extremely slow performance up to and including freezes on a computer that NEVER froze before.
I want to undo this trial offer and go back to my old Pages, a program so antiquated that it had the rather quaint ability to actually do its job. Can anyone tell me how to get this trial '08 out of my system? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Glad to hear you're having good luck with this wonderful piece of work - I certainly am not.
I tried to contact the Apple site where they referred me for questions and feedback on this thing - no response after two tries and five days.
I don't have a lot of exotic imported programs that might conflict with it - a fairly simple set-up running fairly standard stuff. I almost never download stuff except from reputable sources, and downloaded nothing else around the time I got this thing, and only word processing tasks seem affected - the computer's other functions all seem intact.
I could simply trash it, yes, but all the stuff I've created using it seems not to want to export anywhere except PDF, and I don't have a program for writing/correcting within PDF files - suppose I will have to get one.
I can copy and paste the text into Pages 06, but not embedded photos and such, which are a large part of the work. Somewhere along the way I was instructed to Save As to Pages 06 - didn't work.
Been a Mac user exclusively since 1991 - haven't had serious problems like these crashes for years, and never, never lost work until now. But you all please go back to discussing how wonderful this program is - sorry to have bothered you with a dissenting question. Adios.

Hi Dmirtiyter, I suspect that you have a windows computer and seems you have a 32 bit system and that's the only reason you are not getting a download option for Premiere Pro as its a 64 bit Program.

1. Insert the OS X DVD and press C key on boot.
2. Go to Utilities > Disk Utility and erase the drive.

Suppose you mean the vertical gradient?
Just tried it and used the following:
In Quick mask mode I made a brushstroke (broad and soft) along the left side of the shadow part and thwn quit Quick mask mode, inverted the selection and used a Gaussion blur of 3.5
Did the same two more times, every time left from the former stroke.
Finally used the Stamp tool for the last bits (again, latge and soft), in this case with an opacity of 50%.
This all was done very very quick and dirty but it might give you an idea.

Whenever i open Firefox i cant type anything because the "find" bar at the bottom alwayse pops up. How can i remove that or fix this issue?

So like I said, Everytime I open firefox as soon as I open a tab the "find" bar automatically pops up and I cant type. It wont let me close it at all. Ive searched everywhere to see if I can disable it from automatically coming up but came up empty. Ive reset everything back to is "original" settings but that didn't work either.

Is the bar labeled Find or Quick Find?
Find: This bar can be opened using Ctrl+f, but obviously you are not typing Ctrl+f.
Quick Find: The shortcut to open this bar is a / character. Firefox also has an option to open the Quick Find bar as soon as you type ''any'' character. Hmmm... by default, if the cursor is in either bar, it can be closed by pressing the Esc key. But I suppose that isn't working either (or it reopens very quickly).

i have written a program that stores the names of all the students in my class in an array. To write the program, i use Scanner to incorporate a text file that contains the names of all the people in my class listed. the names in the text file are in the form: "last name, first name" so when i print the program the output comes out first name last name, the comma remains at the end of the last name and i need to know how to get rid of this comma in the program writing so that it doesn't appear once i print the program.

Substring is a method in the string class that is very usefull so be sure to check out the API an see what all you can do with it. Basicaly, it allows you to read specific sections of a string.
The way you use it is as such:
stringVariable.substring(x,y)With x being the starting point of the section you wish to keep and y being the ending point+1 . Keep in mind that when indexing a string the begining is 0 just as it is with an array.
For your situation, try this
lastName = lastName.substring(0,lastName.length()-1);Another thing you could try is StringBuffer, be sure to check it out in the API as it can be pretty usefull

Yes. That is the technique I traditionally use to drop an image into text. I even cut and pasted again as you suggested with the same result. Trust me, this is driving me nuts. I'm not doing anything different than before, but my results are different, even within the same document. I'll attach a few examples, all from this same document.

Setting the tempo in STP will change the tempo of any audio files that have apple loops information - that is, they have metadata in the audio file that gives STP an indication of where the beats lie. So if the audio file doesn't have that metadata, it's not going to change with the tempo change in STP.
I don't have Logic, but that might have some kind of beat detection analysis that you can run for that song, and change it there. The other option is to try to add that information to the audio file using the Apple Loop Editor. Soundtrack alone is not going to help you.

Continued "Trial" and "License this program" issue on "new" computer...

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my new computer from the Files on my old Computer. I do not have access to my old computer anymore. The 'Help' on my new computer is showing 'Deactivation' as a 'gray' option. I have a serial number (registered on the Adobe site) that when entered (Since it keeps telling me this is a trial version) tells me to contact Customer Support. On the Registration Page on Adobe it states this number is Registered to Adobe 9 (yet Adobe XI Pro was working on my old computer). I have no problem downloading Adobe 9 on my new computer...if it will work, but cannot find the files for download (and do not have my old computer...which only had Adobe Acrobat XI Pro). Suggestions? Just want my Adobe Acrobat Pro to work again...Thanks in advance for any assistance...

How can I remove Apple Software update from Programs in Control Panel. I grt a message that there is an error in Windows Installer Package?

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
