XYZMO was installed on my computer this morning as an update and I don't want it but can't find where or how to remove it? Any help here would be appreciated!

You can't, no, and no. Acrobat is not a word processor, and trying to use it as if it is will lead to enormous frustration and disappointment. Maybe you need to convert this document to Word if you want to do this sort of editing, but don't expect fancy layout to be preserved.

How do you remove buttons icons from a large pdf all at once? I have a 1400 + pg doc that I am updating. It has icon buttons to return to the home page on each page but they were not duplicated properly and when you scroll through the doc, the buttons dance around. Now I want to redo these buttons but hate the idea of having to go to each page to delete the icon button so I can start new. Can it be done all at once?

It's probably worth adding to try67's suggestion above that, if you're using the first option, you need to make sure the page display is continuous. (If you've got it set to view a single page only, Command+A will only select the fields on the active page.)

How do I disable the function that causes the 'Remove Hidden Information' popup when closing PDFs in Acrobat X? I'm using OS X 10.9.4 on a Mac?
I've searched online and was directed to Preferences>>Security (enhanced) to uncheck 'Unable Enhanced Security', but it wasn't checked.
This box (see screen shot) opens each time I close a PDF. I'm forced to select an option before closing.

Go to the menu Acrobat>Preferences
In the Preferences window's "Categories" pane, select "Document"
In the "Hidden Information" section deselect both check boxes
Click the OK button
You should be good now.

How does on remove or damage unicode layer in PDF. format?

Pdfs consist of 2 layers one being unicode map the other gylph map. Unicode stores all kinds of information, the one that you use to copy and paste the text with and gylph is essentially the way the text looks, thus if you delete unicode or damage it somehow you will protect your file from being copied somewhere (excluding ocr) but the text in the file will still look the way it is supposed to. Just like in the picture below. So the question remains: how does one remove unicode in PDF in order to protect the file from being copied anywhere? Thank you for your input!

I don´t know how to make this work. I would open the OSS message for this and want SAP to give a workaround or say clearly this cannot be done. Well... in one of the mentioned threads it is mentioned that SAP said this is the right behavior but there was not a word about if that can be changed.

p.s.: probably it would be better for you to send only RAW data (i mean only XML data) and make the partner work with it. If the PDF is converted to "something" by a machine, then you don´t need PDF (what is a user GUI), to send only the data should suffice, or not?

How to avoid the prompt when verifing signature?

I sign the doc with my cert.
The cert is not trusted by Acrobat/Reader itself so when i try to verify the signature Acrobat/Reader will prompt the user cert is not trusted.
My question is how to avoid this prompt through Acrobat SDK or how to add my cert to trusted cert list through Acrobat SDK?

But I have just found the cert which will cause the signature failure.
The key is the cert can not be removed.
I'm very curious that why a cert has no relationship with the signature could cause the signature failure?
Is it a BUG of Acrobat/Adobe Reader?
If not how can i operate successfully?

Under Advanced Start menu options I can’t see any reference to rocket, might be me.
All I see are 4 boxes selected Display Run, Enable Dragging & Dropping, Expand Network Connections and Use personalized Menus
I have asked them to tell me but get no response. It’s a pain but are they trustworthy do you know. My Security doesn’t appear to mind

I have just completed setting up a spredsheet for a business account but in the process I have saved three addirional templates which I wish to remove before they cause any more confusion.

You can only protect entire tables, so with that in mind you would design your spreadsheet such that Data entry happens in one set of tables and Calculations in others. Then Arrange > Lock the tables with the calculations.
This goes a long way toward protecting your document from accidental destruction of expressions. Anyone determined to cause trouble could get around the locking, but I understand that you are just concerned about accidental entries.into formula cells.
Other methods involve placing transparent Shapes over the formula cells. Since your document is already built and tested, this might be the best approach for this case. Here's the procedure for creating a shield:
Insert > Shape > Rectangle
Stretch the shape to cover the formula area (this may take more than one shape, but you should do them one at a time).
With the Shape selected, go to the Graphics Inspector and move the Opacity Slider to Zero Percent. This control is at the bottom of the panel.
Covering sensitive cells in this way prevents clicking directly on them, but does not prevent using the arrow keys to move to one of these cells from an uncovered area.

It seems there is a part of the software not removed by the standard process and needs to be removed separately.

There should be a I-Mesh applications folder, in there is another uninstall program, run that and it seems to free up the browser and you can set your homepage as normal

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all?
Open Activity Monitor, Show:>All Processes, sort on CPU%, see if anything using too much CPU% when this happens, click on Memory tab, do you have many Pageouts? Click on the Disk Usage tab, how much free space?

Hello, I created a swf animation in flash to place in my interactive pdf (created in InDesign). Is there a way to remove the gray icon that shows up when placing the SWF? In PDF mode, when I click it, it plays, but I'd rather there be no icon at all, and it play automatically. (or play on click, but without the gray icon). The gray icon just doesn't look good.
also, does anyone have an easy solution for getting it to replay?

You don't say what version of InDesign you're using.
In InDesign CS6, I can place a SWF file on the page. Then I open the Media panel, and while the SWF is selected, choose Poster: None and Play on Page Load.
That seems to do what you want.
