I captured some old video. Over time I'm getting yellow banding. Any ideas on how to remove it.

Unfortunately, that ship has sailed. I don’t have the VHS tapes anymore.

You cannot remove or change the old ID. This is Find My iPhone Activation Lock. You need to recover the credentials for the Apple ID originally used to activate the iPad.

If you have the tryout version of Premiere Elements (any version) and you export with the Adobe watermark, you cannot remove the Adobe watermark from that export, even after purchase of the program.
As you found out, you can remove the Adobe watermark from the tryout project file (project.prel) after purchase. The classic way (as you have indicated worked for you) is the deletion of the project.prel's rendered files (preview files) in the purchased program. Some, like myself, have found removal of the watermark placed in the project.prel of the tryout could be achieved just importing the project.prel with its watermark into the purchased version (no rendered file deletion by the user).
Nonetheless, glad to learn that you are moving forward in your Premiere Elements projects. Wishing you many great projects.

How can i remove moved and deleted old libraries?

I've moved a bunch of my libraries around, removed some, and have installed iphoto9 on a new mac. I love that in iphoto9 I can now create new libraries or decide which library to open. But, all of my older libraries are showing up in the list when I open with "option". Plus there are duplicates of the older libraries. I'm assuming there is a db or data text file somewhere that is populating this list. Does anyone know how I can remove old defunct libraries from showing up in the list?

First of all , I would like to advice you that you must need have an administrator’s permission account of this laptop. If so, You need to leave your laptop from the domain, then you need to change the Network Location to Home Network.

You can't delete an account, all you can do is remove any personal info from it and stop using it - but any content that you downloaded with it will remain tied to that account, so only that account will be able to authorise that content on a new computer, redownload it, and download updates to its apps.
You can log into an account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and edit its info.

Actually the "holding down the pad" method in Launchpad is relatively new, and will only work with apps that you downloaded from the App Store. Other applications will not show an X in Launchpad.
You should delete them from Finder by dragging them out of the Applications folder to your trash. If they have an uninstaller in their application folder, you should use that instead.

I have a 10 slide project in Captivate 8 where each slide is a separate video. When I publish the project, a loading circle appears before each new slide which is very distracting. Are there any settings I can change to stop this from happening? Currently, I am publishing as a video (.mp4) and am using the default settings.
Any help would be so appreciated!

That is a preloader that appears because of your bandwidth.
If each slide is a separate video, which you are publishing as a video, then you should probably use a video editor software such as Windows Movie Maker or even Camtasia instead of Captivate.

I have imported a video from a vhs videorecorder - and now I want to remove the head switch noise by shifting the entire video 8 lines down and insert 8 lines black at the top and bottom.
How do I do this with Premiere Elements 11?

I think that the scale up ever so little (with Constrain Proportions Off) would have been the best, but if your image has problems with that (and as Hunt says can live with black bars), then
Approach 1 - On Screen Image Moved Down
The just moving the screen image down far enough to hide the switch head noise at the bottom of the frame. To do that:
a. Click on the image on screen, and use the mouse cursor to drag the image downward far enough to hide the switch head noise bar.
or
b. Highlight/select the Timeline clip, go to Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded, and increase the second value for Position to move the image downward on the screen.
The black at the top of the image that you generate in this process is not the color black but rather the program using black to represent transparency.
Before Position second value = 238.8 in this example
After Position second value = 250.8 in this example
Approach 2 - Cropping out Noise
Go to xf Effects/Transform/Crop and drag the Crop Effect into the video on the Expert workspace Timeline. Then adjust the Left, Top, Right sliders so that the image is not cropped at any of those edges. Move the Bottom slider from 0 upward to replace the switch head noise with transparency/black border at bottom.

I am currently using a Mac Pro Dual-Core 2.66 Intel Xeon computer. I have Final Cut Express 4 installed and I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to use FCE to restore a video?
Here's the situation:
I have a VHS tape of my wedding. Soon, it will be my 25th wedding anniversary and I thought that it would be nice to transfer the wedding video from VHS to DVD. I captured the video into FCE4 by way of Firewire. However, the original VHS was in pretty poor condition. The colors bleed from object to object and the overall picture is not very sharp or well defined.
I'm a beginner to FCE. Are there any tools in FCE4 that would allow me to create a better quality print of my wedding video in that there would be less color bleed and a sharper more defined picture?

I think this is a good idea. I'm new to FCE, so I don't know nearly as much about it as you guys do. But I'm assuming its capabilities are limited when it comes to fixing bad video. Of course, any bad source video can only be fixed so much, but I have found that the professional video services out there can do some amazing things.
I had some REALLY OLD super-8 movie reels converted to DV tape. Although far from perfect, the results were amazing; much better than the actual movie film. I don't know what the professional video service people did, but it was worth every cent. Speaking of cents, it wasn't even all that expensive: $.25/foot. And I know there are places that are cheaper than that.
The fact that Al suggested conversion to DV tape (as opposed to straight to DVD) raises two questions:
1) Would the quality of the converted video be better on DV tape than on DVD?
2) Is FCE capable of capturing video straight from a DVD? (A homemade DVD, not a commercial DVD like "The Dark Knight", for example.)

Hi Waterton, This may not be the most cost effective way of solving your dilemma but I had a very similar problem with some old VHS-C footage and a whole batch of VHS cassettes. IN the end I bit the bullet and purchased the Canopus ADVC-110. It has enough variation in input and output to suit most formats and is a dream to use. Have a look on the link below.
