This statement is working fine in side java.

And from the DOS also,

works great.
Here my local F:/ drive mapped to saswh$ on 'qsash'(F:)
How do i replace F:/ in the above statements to name(//qsash/saswh$/) of that drive ?

How do I change custom field description and name on the project fields PDP

I'm creating a custom PDP for a workflow process and I need to add the folloiwng fields "Project Name" and "Description"
When I try to create Project Name custom field under server settings I get the following message "The custom field name cannot match the name of any intrinsic fields."
So I went to the PDP web part Project fields and I found a field named " Project Name". I added it to the Proejct Fields web part, but it displays as "Name".
How can I change this field that's out of the box? I don't see "Project Name" and "Description" under server settings > Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables to modify them.

Hi there,
Project Name & description fields are internal fields in project server which you cannot view in Enterprise custom fields in PWA. You will not be able to create with the similar name. There is no way to change these fields as far as I know.
I would suggest to have the new fields name something like Project_Name/ ProjName or Project_Description/ProjDescription .

If you are using iCloud on iPhone and Mac, that must be already done. If not, you have to setup iCloud on both devices with the same Apple ID.
Before you try anything, download an app like "Contacts kit" or "My Contacts Backup" to your iPhone and make a backup of your list and send it via email to yourself.

How can I replace all music on my iPod with the music in my iTunes Library?

My iPod Touch (5th Generation) contains all the music that I purchased on iTunes with my previous iPod. I managed to transfer all music, including those from CDs, from my old iPod onto iTunes (newest version), so I figured that I would sync my iPod to retrieve them. However, every time I sync my iPod with my music library, I get duplicates of the purchases that my iPod contains, but not of those from CDs. When I go onto the "Music" section in my iPod, no items are shown. I have all the music that I want sorted out in my iTunes Library, so I want to replace only the music on my iPod with the music in the Library. How do I do this, or at least delete the music on my iPod (but not iTunes) so I can sync the entire music library later?

Correction: The music on my iPod doesn't show up in the "Music" section in "iPod" in iTunes.

recently i decided to try iCloud and well, i didn't quite like the duplicates~
so i've decided to opt out, but i accidentally selected "keep all data" when i turned it off~
now i'm stuck with duplicates after i've sync-ed my iphone to my macbook~
i would very much like to replace all the ical data on my macbook with my ipad (it's my only set of "original" data)~
i do know there's an option to "replace all data on my ipad with my macbook" but how about vice versa?
any suggestions?

iCloud does not inherently cause duplication of calendars. Once you have a good set of data following these steps you may want to consider trying iCloud again after first flushing all the bad data out of the cloud (meaning deleting all the calendars from icloud.com). But first things first:
If the iOS device is the only place where the data exists, proceed with caution.
Backup your iOS device: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Create a new admin user account on your computer: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.7/en/mtusr001.html
Go to Apple > Log Out
Login to the new account
Sync the iOS device in the new user and merge all data (not replace)
Launch iCal in the new user -- If the calendar database on the iOS device is intact you should see all the calendars here in iCal.
Highlight each calendar on the left hand side one at a time and then go to File > Export > Export and save the resulting file to desktop. Repeat this process until you have exported all the calendars you want saved to the desktop.
Quit iCal
Put the .ics files you created on the desktop into Macintosh HD > Users > Shared (You can get there by going to "Go" > "Computer" at the top of the computer screen.)
Go to Apple > Log Out
Login as the main user account
Go to Macintosh HD > Users > Shared and drag the ics files to the desktop of your user account.
Open iCal and add one new empty calendar by going to File > New Calendar > On My Mac.
Delete all the other calendars that have the bad data in them.
One at a time, double-click the ics files on your desktop and choose "New Calendar" from the resulting drop down menu. (This will create a new fresh calendar in iCal and import the contents of the ics file into that calendar.)

How much to replace an iPhone 4 cracked screen in the UK

Its only 6 months old, but landed on the carpark floor today and has lots of cracks, apart from that it still works, but the cracks are a bit sharp in some places so I'd like it repaired, I wanted to know how much it costs at the Apple store to see if its cheaper to replace there or claim through my insurance which has a £50 excess!!

Found it, £126 think this will be an insurance job then!! I'll give my local store a call just to be sure, though it would be easier to have it done at the Apple store as they'd be able to do it there and then, however its costly so i'll have to survive without it so I can get it repaired via the insurance, arghhhh!!

I was on the phone for almost 2 hrs. yesterday because I had so many passwords I couldn't remember the one I used for itunes. The fellow helped me get it all straightened out but it still wouldn't let me get in because I couldn't remember the questions and answers. Its really absurd to even ask this in light of the information that you have been given already. The "old fashioned" way is gone. It's Apple's store, Apples's rules and IMO - its a wise decision on Apple's part.

Siri could not understand me when I asked it to call my husband, (he has a name I have a hard time pronouncing) so I put in a middle name for siri to understand. How do I remove a DVD that is stuck in the drive on MacBook

I put a DVD in my drive to watch a movie and it is making a sound as if it cannot red it and my computer is not booting up.

A stuck DVD should not prevent your Mac booting from its hard drive.
Turn your Macbook all the way off (hold the power button down until the power light turns off). Then try the following:
- Reboot the computer. Straight away, hold down the left button on the trackpad, or the left button on an attached USB mouse if you use one. Keep it held down and eventually, the disk should eject.
- Reboot the computer. Hold down the Option key until you see the boot panel on the screen. Choose your HD to boot from that disk. Once booted, is the DVD shown on the desktop / in the Finder? Try ejecting it there.
- If, once booted, you don't see the disk in the Finder, take a look at the disk slot. Can you see the middle of the DVD? Try pushing it in very gently.
If none of those help, you should take it to an Apple Store or authorized repair center for them to remove it.

How do I erase an older Western Digital 1TB mirrored hard drive? Newer drives can be erased via a WD Utility, but the WD site says to "ask Apple" about the older ones.

I have a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.7.5. The hard drive is approx. six years old - a Western Digital for Macs, mirrored with 1TB on each half.
Because the drive is "infected" with Time Machine backups that I can't erase, I have removed all important files from the drive and now want to wipe it clean. I've done this with new drives, via the WD Utility that came with the drive, but the older drive doesn't have such a utility. The WD site only has a protocol for PCs.
I find nothing on the Apple site itself. Can you community members help??
(I've tried various ways of deleting the Time Machine backups, but nothing has worked. The instructions for that, which I read on a community support site, were too advanced for me to understand. A Mac IT guy tried to erase the backups, but he didn't know how either. So that is why I'm erasing the drive totally. I've learned my lesson and have a dedicated Time Machine drive now.)

You now have a different startup disk and wish to erase the RAID mirror?
Do you wish to continue using the RAID for backup?
If all you want to do is erase the RAID to get rid or the Time Machine backups, the use Disk Utility to erase the mirror disk mounted on the Desktop.

I think that the idea is good, although nothing prevents that a "bad" user can create a new account on each login.
The È is not the only problem. In Spain we use two last name, and in spanish translation of "my info", middle name is translated as first lasts name and english last name as second last name, so my alias is completely wrong (name + second last name).
I think that nothing could happen if "good" users could change the alias once. I tried day after the warning, and I couldn't.
