If your iPod has a separate icloud account no you can't unless you sign out and sign in with the id you share and download it and sing in again with your id

Is your phone still signed in with your old iTues ID for iCloud (in Settings>iCloud)?

I have an itunes acct - with my iphone and ipad linked. Also my daughter has an ipod -so I orignally linked it to my acct and it identified it as MY ipod.

When I got my iPad2, I had a gmail account, and set it up w/ that email account. As a result, I was given a different apple id - stupid of me. This also resulted in me getting a different iCloud. When I got my iPhone, I used my iPod account (linked to a newly set up Yahoo account), because I wanted all of my iTunes song on my phone. So now I have two apple ID's and two iClouds, and my phone and my iPad are on separate iClouds. I hate it, and I don't know if I can somehow merge the two. I want to buy additional iCloud storage, but only if I can do so on ONE account that is for both devices. Does anyone know if/how I can accomplish this? Thanks so much.

You simply delete the iCloud acct, then add it back with the new Apple ID.
For iTunes purchases, log out of your old ID and sign in again with your new one. -

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

I'm about to get a new computer. I have all my music on a external HD, so I won't have problems preserving my music. But I would like to preserve other information too. Especially the play count information. I think it's interesting how my top 25-most-played looks like, and the play count list I have now, took me 2 years to get.
So my question is: Does anyone know how I can copy my iTunes library with all its information (play count, rating, comments, images, last played date etc.) to a new computer?
