How do I reset my iTunes payment method? When I try, I get an error screen.
Due to someone paying me with a bounced check, my bank account became overdrawn. When making a purchase at the App Store, my bank account's overdrawn status made my Paypal account overdrawn. I've since resolved the situation with my bank, and my account is good now. But when I try to update my iPhone, I get an error screen telling me Paypal isn't accepted on this phone. I went to PayPal and paid with a different bank account to get out of the negative balance there, but my iPhone won't let me update my payment method. Help!

Ok..so I originally had my credit card on there, but when it got maxed out, I changed it to a prepaid Visa card that I got for Christmas. The Visa card is now maxed, and my credit card is still maxed, and apple won't show 'NONE' as a payment option. I have had the option available once before, but i have no idea how i did it. How do I get 'none' to show so I can download free apps and update my other ones again? It keeps saying that the card is declined. When i try to purchase or update it says "Your Apple ID has been disabled." I have contacted Apple 3 times and they told me to change my password each time and i told them i tried that, but it didn't work.They said they would try to fix it and they never contacted me after that. If you did everything it says then you contacted them.

Check the required specs for the latest version of iTunes and iOS. What kind of Mac computer do you have and what OS does it have on it. Also, what kind of processor do you have, Intel?

Yup, I'm a Kiwi, living in sunny Blenheim. Just seems odd that I can use Amex for purchasing in the Apple store but not in the iTunes store. Perhaps the higher charge set by Amex is not economic for small purchases? Anyway,

Contact Apple support at 800MYAPPLE and ask them to assist you with resetting your security quesitons.
They will ask you to verify your identity. Not usually a big issue. Call them ask for assistance.
They can walk you through getting the security question issues resolved.
