How do I resolve a confict between Acrobat X Pro and Microsoft Office 2010 running on a W7 Pro 32bit

After I use Acrobat X Pro, and particularly if I have Acrobat X Pro running, the Microsoft Office 2010 programs (Outlook, Excel and Word) become very unstable.
Outlook has a real tendency to crash when I try to add a file attachment to an email.
Word gets mad while trying to find files across a local network.
and Excel almost always crashed while shutting down (the Excel program).
The problem is getting worse (more frequent crashes) as time goes by.
I am not "pointing the finger" at any specific software. I'm just looking for some things to try to resolve my problem with my setup.
If this is the wrong forum for this question I humbly beg your forgiveness (providing you give me a suggestion as to where I should go for help).

I have iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1) and OSX Lion, ITunes 10.6 and use iCloud.
In Itunes I do not have 'Sync Contacts ticked' as it says my Contacts are being synced over the air. If I put contacts on either device then they do not sync with the other devise.
If I do tick this box then my iPhone contacts duplicate but the contacts on Address book that are not on iPhone do not transfer and contacts on iPhone do not go to address book!
Any ideas with any settings etc. that I can do to resolve this. It all used to work fine before iCloud but even after turning iCloud off this no longer works.

I had the same problem. The following link solved my problem, in particular "Step 5". The regestry entries did the job. I think there is a problem with the iTunes 64-bit installer.

Acrobat shortcut dissapeared from the Office 2010 Taskbar

Since we had a problem with creating pdfs in Word 2010, we deactivated the pdfmaker Add In (as recommended from Office) and updated Acrobat (now we have version 9.5.5.) then we activated the pdfmaker Add in again, but the Acrobat shortcut remained disappeared. So we followed every step as described in "http://helpx.adobe.com/de/acrobat/kb/pdfmaker-unavailable-office-2007-office.html" except a new installation, but still the Acrobat shortcut doesn' appear in the taskbar of the office programs. The Add in is activated and on the right place. What else can we do? the machine is a WIN7 64 bit prof. with Office 2010 32-bit. thanks for your help!

Hi, I would like to use microsoft office 2010 on my imac for school purposes, how can I accomplish that?

I suggest that you get the student version of 2011 for mac. i believe it is around 120us or so on amazon or the apple store. The other option would be to use 2010 for windows running paralles or a similar Windows emulator.

Unfortunately Office for Mac does not support the correct protocols to work with iCloud.

i think it is bad new for you. if it's any consilation i went through the same thing when i loaded mountain lion when it first came out. i think the problem is that mountain lion is a pure 64bit operating system and the software you have is 32bit. earlier os's were able to emulate 32bit but the new system does not. the answer is new software. i did it and it cost me a load of money and much angst so your not alone.

It means you have to close them (Quit). Right click them one by one from the dock and click Quit.

Have just noticed this in a thread today. The link from Klaus1's post may allow you to use PDF and work on it. I haven't tried it but it may give you some extra ammunition.
