How do I resolve CS6 issues on Mac Yosemite 10.10.2?

An error message on an open file  from Indesign said it had lost data connection. Indesign crashed, and so did my whole computer -Macbook pro 10.10.2. Had to get data recovery service to recover my HD contents, but all open INDD files during crash were damaged and I cannot open them (Error code 5).
Next error message said problems had to do with Creative Cloud, so I uninstalled it. Now I can't install Creative Cloud desktop (error code1)  Creative Cloud cleaner tool doesn't help.
Unable to install CS6. Error message: Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor. to detect problem. Clicked on link: Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued.
Indesign works but I am nervous about these problems. Should I re-install CS6 and if so, how?

After the data recovery did you reformat and do a clean install of Yosemite? Sounds like you have an OS problem.

    I had the same problem.  The following link solved my problem, in particular "Step 5".  The regestry entries did the job.  I think there is a problem with the iTunes 64-bit installer.

    Most likely, the Server was not configured correctly - DNS is a common issue, If DNS is not configured properly, OD will not be happy. You can run
    sudo changeip -checkhostname
    in Terminal to see of DNS is up and running.
    Here's a great tutorial (not mine) for setting up OS X Servers. The page says it's for a typical school environment, but it can be applied in many other environments.

    Try moving these files to the Trash one at a time and test (but don't empty yet.)
    /Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpviewer.plist
    /Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpviewer.LSSharedFileList.pl ist
    If doing this doesn't help, then navigate to this location and delete the cache (but not the enclosing folder.)
    /Users/yourusername/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpviewer
    All are located in your home folder Library.

    Exactly what did you do?
    The correct steps are
    Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
    And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
    And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive
    My guess is that that you have not switched iphoto to use the external drive yet - opttion launch and select libary

    You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

    That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
    I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
